This couple was out dog-sitting when they noticed a basketball hoop shaking and heard strange noises. Curious, the boyfriend climbed a 10-foot ladder and spotted a sparkling bird trapped inside. Thinking quickly, he took a long piece of wood, attached a ledge to it, and lowered it into the pole. The bird instantly hopped onto the ledge, and they safely pulled it out, after which it immediately flew away.
