00:04Start the clock.
00:41I appreciate it.
00:44Thank you very much.
00:50Thank you, people.
00:51I appreciate that.
00:53Great to have you here.
00:55I know.
00:58All right.
01:00I know why you're happy.
01:02Trump says there is a way out of Iran.
01:05Unfortunately, it's through the airport.
01:07That is just...
01:14Anybody here have to come through the airport?
01:16It's easier to get through the Strait of Hormuz than the airport these days.
01:21And yet this impasse that has been going on since January 31st is when this bullshit started.
01:26You know, the funding of the TSA.
01:28Everything in this country is a hostage situation.
01:31Every side's like, the dog gets it.
01:35Unless you do what we say on this or the no...
01:38TSA, they haven't been to do this.
01:40So the latest plan A that Trump had this week was to send ICE to the airport.
01:48Okay.
01:49Forgetting that ICE does not perform any sort of task that would be alleviating the actual problem there.
01:56So it's just more people standing around.
01:59Plan B was to send to every airport 100 raccoons.
02:10But finally today, Trump signed an executive order.
02:13Don't know why he couldn't have done that five weeks ago.
02:16That will pay the TSA agents who haven't been paid since Valentine's Day.
02:28It's not good when people who have no money work in a place where water is $6 a bottle.
02:35Okay.
02:39So, but finally some good news for you, ladies and gentlemen.
02:43Donald Trump is getting the America First award.
02:48I'm not...
02:49Nope.
02:50Maybe you never heard of it because they just made it up.
02:53But it is a real thing and he's getting it.
03:00Mike Johnson says we'll be given annually to Donald Trump.
03:11But speaking of awards, I'm finally getting one.
03:20I appreciate it.
03:21Yeah, there was a lot of...
03:23Everyone's asking me to explain what was going on
03:25because there's a lot of back and forth about this.
03:27It's an award given at the Kennedy Center,
03:29but of course that is now the Trump Kennedy Center.
03:34So, I was going to get it.
03:35And then Friday, Trump's...
03:38Well, both his spokespeople come out and said,
03:40Fake news.
03:41Bill Maher's never getting it.
03:44We have reached a compromise, okay?
03:46And the compromise is I am going to get it
03:50and then I'm going to give it to him.
03:55Everybody's happy.
04:01I just want things to work out.
04:02And also, I want to say thank you.
04:04Okay?
04:04I'm not looking for a fight.
04:06And I'm not mad that he did this.
04:07You know what?
04:08Me and the president, we have a complicated relationship.
04:12Goes back to the orangutan lawsuit.
04:14You know, this has been going on a long time.
04:16So, him trying to block me from getting it,
04:18I respect the move.
04:20I respect the move.
04:22Keep the game going, baby, okay?
04:24I'm all about engagement.
04:27Disengagement gets you nothing.
04:29You've got to engage.
04:31So, even though I see that we're back to him calling me a jerk
04:34and I'm a lightweight ratings loser,
04:38get it off your chest, big man.
04:40Okay?
04:41I'm totally fine with it.
04:42I was proud of these last insults you gave me.
04:45I added them to the list of insults that I brought to the White House
04:50that you signed graciously when I was there.
04:53Yeah.
04:55So, I would just like to say,
04:58as a low ratings lightweight
05:02and a rather dumb guy
05:03and a pathetic bloated sleazebag,
05:06a dummy, a terrible student,
05:08a nervous failing comedian,
05:09and someone who was sick, insane,
05:11very sad, totally shot,
05:13and a crazy maniac,
05:16I am honored to accept the Mark 20.
05:19Thank you very much.
05:21And I will...
05:27I will be there, Don,
05:29and I hope you will be, too.
05:30I mean, the place is named after you now.
05:32You really should show up.
05:33You could show up.
05:34You could thank me in person
05:36for being one of the few people on the lunatic left
05:38who's glad you hit Iran
05:40and is hoping we win that one, okay?
05:44So...
05:46Oh, the war?
05:48The war...
05:49You know, all wars are foggy,
05:50but this one's very foggy.
05:53Trump says...
05:54Boy, this is interesting.
05:55He says they're in talks with the Iranians,
05:58and the Iranians say they're not talking at all.
06:01It's a real...
06:02He said, she has said.
06:06Oh.
06:08Intra-Islam joke.
06:11Listen to this.
06:12Trump's quote.
06:13He said,
06:13they want to make a deal so badly.
06:16An Iranian negotiator said,
06:20our first and last word has always been
06:22that someone like us
06:24will never come to terms
06:25with someone like you,
06:27not now, not ever.
06:28That doesn't sound just like a no.
06:30That sounds like a Taylor Swift.
06:32We are never, ever, ever
06:33getting back together now.
06:40But Trump gave an absolute deadline today
06:45about the Strait of Hormuz.
06:47He said,
06:47you either open that else or else,
06:49and Iran picked or else.
06:52LAUGHTER
06:55And then he extended the deadline to April 6th.
06:58And then he said,
06:59okay, okay, if you don't do it,
07:01we're going to blow up your electrical grid.
07:02And then they didn't move on that,
07:04and so he extended that to April 17th.
07:07He's kind of like that dad in the car
07:09who says,
07:10don't make me turn this thing around.
07:12Because...
07:12LAUGHTER
07:13And then never does, you know...
07:16APPLAUSE
07:18And listen to this.
07:20Last week we found out
07:22there's going to be a gold Trump coin.
07:24Now he's putting his signature
07:25on the currency,
07:27which the Treasury Secretary's always had
07:29forever in this country.
07:31And I don't know about this,
07:32because whenever Trump names stuff
07:34after himself,
07:35it never really works out.
07:36I mean,
07:37you think about the Atlantic City casinos,
07:39Trump University,
07:41Don Jr.
07:42LAUGHTER
07:43All right, like kids.
07:44All right, we've got a great show.
07:45Stephen A. Smith and Laura Coates are here.
07:48Well, first up,
07:49she's a former CIA analyst
07:50and cunning out official
07:51who now serves
07:52as a Democratic senator from Michigan.
07:54Senator Alyssa Slotkin is here.
07:59Hey.
08:00How are you doing?
08:01How are you?
08:01Great to see you again.
08:03Oh, we love having you on.
08:05Look at that.
08:06It's standing on the street.
08:08All right.
08:11Did you get out here okay
08:13with the airline situation?
08:15I did.
08:15We had a 2 a.m. vote yesterday
08:17and then got on a plane this morning,
08:19the Senate.
08:19Wow.
08:20Oh, thank you very much.
08:22And the airport was okay?
08:23The airport was good.
08:25Oh, wow.
08:25I saw some of the ICE officers.
08:27They were actually moving packages,
08:29Amazon packages,
08:30when I saw them,
08:31but it was moving well
08:32and I think we want, you know,
08:35we want TSA paid,
08:36so that was the point
08:37of the 2 a.m. vote.
08:38Who knew ICE was such
08:39a Swiss army knife, right?
08:41That they, uh...
08:43What can't they do?
08:44That's my question.
08:45Well, police our streets
08:46the way we want them to be police.
08:48Well, that's the...
08:49Yeah, that...
08:49Now, that's the whole
08:50sticking point, right?
08:51But...
08:54What I just mentioned there,
08:55it seems like every problem
08:56that we used to be able to solve
08:58like adults
08:59is a hostage situation.
09:00Does it strike you that way
09:01that everything is, like,
09:03unless we get everything we want,
09:05because Trump umped the ante here
09:06at one point to,
09:08okay, I'm not doing this
09:09unless you also throw in
09:10the trans issue.
09:12Yeah.
09:12Trans.
09:13I think, I think, like,
09:16I don't think it takes, uh,
09:18you know, a genius to understand
09:19that we are, like, ill as a country.
09:21We're not functioning the way
09:22we feel, most Americans feel proud of,
09:25our political system.
09:26And it used to be that, you know,
09:28you would argue
09:29and, of course, have disagreements,
09:30but you'd get in a room,
09:32kick everyone out,
09:32just put your head down
09:34and get a deal.
09:35And that has become...
09:36I've been a senator now
09:37for a year and change,
09:39um, and that is just not
09:40the way it's functioning.
09:41And I don't...
09:42Again, I'm from Michigan.
09:43We are a practical people.
09:45Um, and I don't...
09:4780% of the people that I talk to
09:49cannot stand the way
09:50politicians are representing
09:52themselves right now, period.
09:54So...
09:56Well...
09:59I see even in the conservative press
10:01this week,
10:03people who, you know,
10:04we have the California Post
10:05out here now,
10:06so that kind of keeps
10:07the liberals honest.
10:09And they're usually,
10:10you know,
10:10I've got their head
10:11way up Trump's ass.
10:12Even they
10:14are onto this story
10:15about, uh,
10:17irregular trading
10:18that's going on.
10:20What is your feeling about that?
10:21I mean, they're using
10:22words like curious
10:24in the head.
10:24Curious!
10:25Because, like,
10:26a couple of minutes
10:26before Trump
10:27makes some pronouncement,
10:28people will be trading
10:29and making enormous money.
10:31This is on the war in Iran
10:32and where oil is going.
10:34What is your make of this?
10:36Do you...
10:37I mean, I just dropped
10:40a bill yesterday
10:41on prediction markets
10:42and that no one
10:43in the government,
10:44whether you're a career
10:45government person
10:46or a political appointee
10:47like the president
10:48and his kids,
10:49anybody,
10:50no one should be able
10:51to place a bet
10:52based on insider information
10:54they have on,
10:56especially on issues
10:57of war and peace.
10:58And so what we know
10:59from the...
11:00I mean, it's just a simple...
11:01But just to put it
11:04in perspective,
11:05you know,
11:05you would have people
11:07before we went
11:07into Venezuela,
11:08you had a bunch of people
11:09get online anonymously
11:10and go onto the prediction markets
11:12and say,
11:13I bet we're gonna have
11:14some military action
11:15in Venezuela tomorrow
11:15and made a ton of money.
11:17Same thing ahead
11:18of the Iran war.
11:19And these are people
11:20we can assume
11:21who have insider information
11:22that we're launching
11:23military operations.
11:24Number one,
11:25that's insider trading.
11:26Number two,
11:27it's also a complete
11:28operational security risk.
11:30If you're the Iranians
11:31and you're sitting there
11:32and you're like,
11:32huh, I noticed
11:33there's a bunch of bets
11:34coming in for a war tomorrow.
11:36It's like,
11:37oh shit,
11:37I think we're about
11:38to have a war.
11:39So I think that...
11:42It's just a bad thing
11:44all around.
11:44All around.
11:48So what do you do about it?
11:49In the past
11:50when Trump has done
11:51stuff like this,
11:52I'm thinking of
11:52the first impeachment
11:55over Ukraine
11:57and, you know,
11:58plainly,
11:59he was things
12:00he should not have been doing.
12:01But that didn't really work.
12:03And then they took him to court
12:05a number of times
12:06when he was out of office.
12:08That didn't seem to work.
12:09Robert Mueller died last week
12:11and somebody wrote a column
12:13and the basic idea was,
12:14you know,
12:15you guys,
12:16you put your energy
12:17into these impeachments
12:18and court rulings.
12:21That's never going to work.
12:22You got to win this
12:23at the ballot box.
12:24So for something like this,
12:26do you take this
12:27to the level of impeachment?
12:28Do you take this
12:29to the courts?
12:30Well,
12:31I think there...
12:32We are going to have
12:34to grapple with
12:35the unbelievable corruption
12:37that is coming out
12:38of this administration.
12:39I mean,
12:39the president,
12:40just his kids alone
12:41have earned
12:41a billion dollars
12:43since he became president.
12:44So we're going to have
12:45to grapple with that.
12:46But the bigger question
12:47for us as Americans
12:48is it turns out
12:49a lot of the things
12:50we thought were laws,
12:51we thought were real rules,
12:53were actually just
12:54kind of traditions.
12:55Right?
12:55We had presidents
12:56who would just...
12:57They would feel ashamed
12:58if they got involved
12:59in business dealings
13:00in the middle
13:00of their administration.
13:01And there just wasn't
13:03real law there.
13:04So I think no matter what,
13:05whether you're Democrat
13:06or Republican,
13:07we're going to have
13:08to take a hard look
13:09at how some of those traditions
13:10that were based
13:11based on good behavior
13:12actually need to become
13:13law with real teeth.
13:14With real teeth.
13:19Well...
13:23Good luck getting
13:23the Republicans
13:24to sign on to that, though.
13:26Well, you know,
13:26it'll be interesting.
13:27Right now, I mean,
13:28you know,
13:29a lot of my peers
13:30really just, like,
13:31salute whatever
13:31the president tells them to do.
13:33They've sort of ceded
13:34their power
13:35as a separate branch
13:36of government.
13:37It's amazing.
13:38No, it's amazing.
13:39Oh, I agree.
13:40I'm just saying,
13:41it's curious to me,
13:43I mean,
13:43both parties do it
13:44to a degree.
13:45I feel like there was
13:45one viewpoint
13:47that came out
13:47after he started
13:49this war with Iran.
13:50I mean,
13:50there's one guy,
13:51John Fetterman,
13:52who I can think of,
13:53who has dissented
13:53from the Democratic Party line.
13:55Is that really the case
13:57that really there's
13:58only one person
13:59in the whole party
14:00who thinks differently?
14:01You all miraculously
14:02came to the exact
14:03same conclusion
14:04about Iran?
14:05No, but I think
14:06it's different than that
14:06because, you know,
14:07I'm someone,
14:08I'm a former CIA officer.
14:09I did three tours
14:10in Iraq.
14:11And so I have no love lost
14:13for the Iranian government.
14:15I mean,
14:16the Iranian leadership,
14:19you know,
14:19killed friends of mine
14:20with rockets
14:21and mortars
14:21and IEDs.
14:23But that's different
14:24from just running
14:25headlong into a war
14:26without being able
14:27to articulate your goals
14:28and how you're going
14:29to get out of it.
14:30That's the Democratic
14:30talking point I hear
14:32all the time
14:32and I don't know
14:33if it's true.
14:34I think they were
14:35planning to say that
14:36whether he did it or not
14:38and then he did it
14:39and they just kept saying it
14:40even though they did say
14:42many times,
14:43okay, we found out
14:44that they're very close
14:45to the bomb.
14:47I mean, that's what came out
14:48in the negotiations,
14:48that they were bragging
14:50that they were, like,
14:51weeks away from having
14:53enough to make 11 bombs.
14:54That to me is pretty clear.
14:56But look,
14:56I can say very openly
14:58as a national security person,
15:00we have for sure degraded
15:01their nuclear capabilities,
15:03for sure degraded
15:04their ballistic missile capabilities,
15:06important things
15:07in terms of the Iranian government.
15:10But until the Strait of Hormuz
15:12is open,
15:13you literally just can't say
15:15that we've won this war
15:16when another country
15:17has a veto
15:18over what ship goes in and out.
15:20So I don't think you...
15:21No, but it's a month old.
15:23It's a month old.
15:24It's a month old,
15:25but we're sending in ground troops
15:27into that theater.
15:28We're not there yet,
15:29but yeah.
15:30Well, they're moving
15:30into the Middle East.
15:31They're not on the ground yet, yes.
15:33Okay, but he's announced
15:34that they're going.
15:35So I think...
15:36And I'm not saying
15:37he's going to use ground troops,
15:38but I'm just saying, like,
15:40look, Saddam Hussein
15:41was a horrible guy, right?
15:43Used chemical weapons
15:44on his people,
15:45just murderous
15:46for years and years and years.
15:47So there's no love lost
15:49for Saddam Hussein.
15:50That doesn't mean
15:51that Americans feel great
15:52after we got bogged down
15:54for years and years
15:55and years in the Iraq war.
15:56It's not a lot to ask,
15:57whether you're a Democrat
15:58or Republican,
15:59for a plan
16:00when we're just coming off
16:01of 20 years
16:02of being bogged down in wars.
16:03But the difference
16:04between Iraq is
16:05they were absolutely no threat.
16:07We absolutely attacked
16:08a country that had nothing
16:10to do with 9-11.
16:12Fair.
16:12Just because we had this idea
16:14of planting a democracy
16:15in the middle of the Middle East.
16:16No, no, I'm sorry.
16:17At the time,
16:18it was that they had WMD.
16:19Remember?
16:19It was like,
16:20they could threaten us.
16:22I mean, it was like...
16:22But it turned out
16:23not to be true.
16:24Fair.
16:24They just wanted to do it.
16:26But the excuse, right?
16:27The reason.
16:27Right.
16:27But Iran has been attacking
16:29the West for a long time.
16:30Including the ally
16:32that is our most important ally
16:34in the world,
16:34and that is Israel.
16:36It's not NATO...
16:38Again, you're not going to get me
16:39to put love
16:41on the Iranian government, right?
16:43I've seen that all
16:44up and close myself.
16:45But I don't...
16:47Again, I just feel like,
16:48especially as someone
16:49who served three tours
16:50over in Iraq,
16:51it's just not hard.
16:53And it is totally fair
16:55to ask for a plan
16:57and to know that
16:58we are better in America
17:00when we do shock and awe
17:02hardcore quickly
17:04rather than get us bogged down
17:05like long term.
17:07We just...
17:07As a nation,
17:08nation building
17:09is not our strength abroad.
17:11And he would lose me
17:13in two seconds on this
17:14if he started doing that.
17:15Yep.
17:15I don't think he will.
17:16I think he's a...
17:18He's...
17:18Look,
17:19he's the kind of guy
17:20who will definitely
17:22abandon you.
17:25And that might be
17:26a good thing in this one.
17:27I mean,
17:27I don't want to abandon
17:28the Iraqi people
17:29and of the Iranian people.
17:30And I wanted to ask you,
17:31as a CIA analyst,
17:33are you surprised
17:34that the uprising
17:35hasn't happened yet?
17:37And did you think it would?
17:39Do you think it might?
17:40I mean, look,
17:41my entire life,
17:43the Iranian people
17:44have been under the thumb
17:46of an ayatollah
17:47and not...
17:48They've had periodic moments
17:49where they've really done
17:50brave things,
17:50but they haven't really pushed
17:52it all the way through.
17:53The Iranian government
17:55is...
17:55has a tight grip
17:56on that place
17:57and now we've replaced
17:58one ayatollah
17:59with another ayatollah.
18:01So I just think
18:01the Iranian people
18:02are just kind of waiting
18:03to see what happens.
18:04I don't think
18:05any Middle East specialist
18:07would tell you
18:07that if we went in,
18:08they would automatically
18:09just rise up
18:10and overthrow
18:11their own government.
18:12Okay.
18:13Well,
18:13Israel has a way
18:14of surprising you
18:16with stuff they're doing
18:17behind the scenes.
18:18We'll see...
18:18We'll see.
18:19...
18:19if any pages
18:21blow up...
18:21In the meantime,
18:22though,
18:22I mean,
18:23I have to say,
18:24one of the last things
18:25I saw when I left Michigan
18:26a week ago
18:27was a 90-minute line
18:28outside of Costco
18:29for gas, right?
18:31I mean,
18:31the American people
18:32are feeling
18:33the impacts of this war
18:35many, many miles away
18:36and that's a very real,
18:38real thing for people.
18:38I mean,
18:39the Democrats
18:39could have a whole
18:40good slogan about,
18:41hey,
18:41you're getting rich
18:42from the war
18:43and we're paying
18:44more at the pump.
18:45Yeah, I mean...
18:46That would work,
18:47wouldn't it?
18:47Well, it...
18:48That's how I know
18:49you won't do it.
18:51Because it's simple
18:52and easy
18:53and concrete.
18:54You're not going
18:55to get me
18:55to defend
18:57Democratic messaging.
18:58That's not going
18:59to be ever something
19:00that I'm going
19:00to defend.
19:02That's part of the problem
19:03and why we lost
19:04the last election
19:04and we can have
19:05a whole autopsy
19:06about that.
19:07I think, for me,
19:08what is important
19:09going forward,
19:10whether you're
19:10a Democrat
19:11or a Republican,
19:12is, like,
19:13the American people,
19:14they're telling us
19:15something.
19:15They want something
19:16different out of
19:16their government.
19:17They want, like,
19:18they want some alpha
19:20energy from their leaders.
19:21And they certainly,
19:23whether you agree
19:24with them or not,
19:25are getting that
19:25from some of the Republicans.
19:26And my plea
19:28to my own party
19:28is, like,
19:29can we have
19:29a little bit more
19:30alpha energy,
19:32punch and believe
19:33in what we believe in
19:34and show people
19:35that we give a shit
19:36and be simple
19:37about addressing
19:38the needs
19:39that they care
19:39about the most?
19:40And that has been
19:41a struggle
19:41and I'm here
19:43to be a part
19:44of that change.
19:47You could run
19:48for president
19:48for me on that one.
19:49Thank you very much.
19:51I appreciate you
19:52making the trip.
19:53I know it wasn't easy.
19:54Well, this is Blackton,
19:55ladies and gentlemen.
19:56All right,
19:56let's meet our panel.
20:03Hey.
20:05All right.
20:08You have me
20:08with that last speech.
20:09All right,
20:10he is the host
20:10of Straight Shooter
20:11with Stephen A
20:12and the Stephen A. Smith
20:13Show on Sirius XM
20:15and YouTube.
20:15Stephen A. Smith
20:16is over here.
20:20And she is CNN's
20:22chief legal analyst
20:23and author of
20:24Laura Coates Live
20:24airing weeknights
20:25on CNN.
20:26Laura Coates,
20:27back with us.
20:30Okay.
20:31I hope it wasn't
20:34a nightmare
20:34for you two
20:35to get here.
20:36Was it?
20:36Airports and so forth.
20:37Were you okay?
20:38I'm good.
20:39Okay.
20:39All right.
20:40Because it seems
20:41to be such a primer
20:42in the dysfunction
20:43of the way
20:44this country works,
20:45this whole mess.
20:46I mean,
20:47you could start
20:47with Biden
20:48and the Democrats
20:49for reasons unknown
20:51or Republicans
20:52have their theories
20:53had to completely
20:54open border policy.
20:56So Trump gets elected
20:57on that
20:58and then goes
20:59way too far
20:59the other way
21:00and has ICE
21:01act like,
21:02you know,
21:02paramilitary groups
21:03in Chile in 1974.
21:07And so then
21:08when the funding
21:09comes up
21:09for the Department
21:10of Homeland Security,
21:12which TSA is a part,
21:14the Democrats say,
21:14we're not going to do it.
21:16We're not going to give
21:16any more money
21:17as long as ICE
21:18is wearing masks,
21:20doesn't need a warrant
21:21to break into your home,
21:22no body cameras.
21:23That was the big
21:24sticking point.
21:25And because TSA
21:27is in this department,
21:29they're the one,
21:30and they just want
21:31to hang out
21:31at the airport
21:32and do what they do,
21:34which is not stop
21:35anything from getting
21:36through anyway.
21:4080 to 90%
21:42of the stuff
21:43that's supposed
21:44to get stopped
21:45doesn't get through anyway.
21:46My stuff always
21:47gets stopped.
21:48So does mine.
21:49Hell,
21:49I get stopped.
21:52It's ridiculous
21:53sometimes how many times,
21:54oh, your flag,
21:55you got to do extra,
21:56you know,
21:56we got to scan you
21:57a few extra times.
21:58It's annoying,
21:59but, you know,
22:00I'll take it to be safe
22:0130,000 feet in the air.
22:02Yes.
22:03Well, then my deodorant,
22:04though,
22:05like, my deodorant
22:06is not a problem,
22:07my perfume,
22:07but I've been
22:09a federal employee
22:09not getting paid
22:10during a shutdown.
22:12The idea that you're
22:13supposed to do
22:14your job well
22:15and not know
22:16where your child care,
22:18day care,
22:18mortgage,
22:19rent,
22:19gas,
22:20food is coming from,
22:21those are fields
22:22that you want people
22:24to feel as though
22:25they are invested
22:25in the job,
22:26that they want to
22:27almost have an itching
22:28to stop whoever comes
22:29because they want
22:29to show that they're
22:30actually in financial
22:31security.
22:32To not to pay them
22:33and have them be a pawn,
22:35I don't know how
22:35anyone could feel safe.
22:36Well, I'll take it
22:37a step further.
22:38I slightly disagree.
22:39I would like to modify
22:40what she said.
22:41She said to do your job well.
22:42How about to do your job,
22:43period?
22:44So you go to work
22:45and you don't get paid,
22:46but meanwhile,
22:47the politicians that we
22:48send on Capitol Hill
22:49to handle their business,
22:51to reach an accord
22:51so we don't have to
22:52go through such things,
22:53they're the ones getting
22:54paid at the same time
22:55that you don't?
22:56They're disgusting.
22:57It's just that simple.
22:58We got to look at it
22:59from this standpoint.
23:03480 TSA workers
23:04have quit,
23:05according to the latest report.
23:0761,000 went unpaid
23:09over the last month.
23:1061,000 American citizens.
23:12Now you got to look at it
23:13from that standpoint
23:14and say,
23:14as disgusting as it is,
23:15it gets a bit worse
23:17when you're looking at
23:18the president
23:18of the White House
23:19and they're projecting
23:20that he's made him
23:20and his family
23:21over 1.4 billion.
23:22I think it's about triple that,
23:24but that's neither here
23:24nor there.
23:25You've got other politicians
23:26that are doing
23:27what they're doing.
23:27You've got the Democrats
23:28sitting up there
23:29and talking about
23:29how there are some people
23:30who Americans need to suffer
23:32because they should have never,
23:33the 77 million people
23:35who voted for President Trump
23:36should have never voted
23:37for him to begin with.
23:38So maybe we'll allow them
23:41to feel voters' remorse
23:43so they won't make
23:44the same mistake twice.
23:45And then on the Republican side,
23:47you've got them gung-ho
23:48about the fact
23:49that they regained power
23:50in office,
23:50that they had to deal
23:51with the nonsense
23:52that they were dealing with
23:53when Biden opened
23:53the damn borders.
23:54Either way you slice it,
23:56they're okay,
23:57the Americans get screwed,
23:58and we're left to talk
23:59about the horrible
24:00job of the game.
24:08That's the second
24:09good presidential speech
24:10I've heard tonight.
24:11Oh.
24:12No, really.
24:13I mean, it is...
24:16It is amazing
24:18that when people actually
24:19aren't running for president,
24:21they sound so much better
24:22than the ones who do.
24:23Yeah.
24:24You know, what is that?
24:25Well, what that is...
24:26You have to not give a shit.
24:27Well, ladies first.
24:28No, candidates first.
24:31Well...
24:35You know what?
24:36No, he told me
24:36he wasn't doing it.
24:37If they don't mess with my money,
24:39I will be a candidate.
24:39Yeah, that's...
24:40I'll tell you that right now.
24:41But I will tell you this.
24:43I mean, listen,
24:43they sound that way
24:44because they're too busy
24:46in keeping their jobs
24:47instead of doing their jobs.
24:48What they're doing,
24:49they're in office,
24:50they've got a little bit of power,
24:51in some cases,
24:52a lot of power,
24:53and they want to make sure
24:54to do things
24:54that are politically expedient
24:55to maintain their status quo.
24:57But in the end,
24:59what you're really highlighting
25:00is that you're thinking
25:00about yourself
25:01instead of thinking
25:02about your constituents
25:03and the American people.
25:04We've been lamenting this
25:05for quite some time.
25:06It's just become
25:07a bit more flagrant
25:08with Trump in office
25:09because you have
25:10so many people who hate him
25:11and you have so many people
25:13he hates.
25:13He hates.
25:15That ultimately,
25:15it comes down
25:16to the American citizen
25:17being a distant third
25:18on the chart
25:19of things
25:21that you should prioritize.
25:22You even saw that
25:22just last day
25:23with the Deputy Attorney General
25:25Todd Blanche
25:25making a comment
25:26that they've gotten rid of,
25:28bragging,
25:28they've gotten rid of everyone
25:29who has helped
25:30in the prosecution
25:31or investigation
25:31of the President
25:32of the United States,
25:33suggesting that
25:34in order for you
25:35to be a good public servant
25:36in the executive branch,
25:37you have to have
25:39the ultimate loyalty
25:40to the President
25:41of the United States.
25:42When I was a prosecutor,
25:44and I would say,
25:44Laura Holtz,
25:45on behalf of the P-O-T-U-S,
25:47it was the people
25:48of the United States,
25:49not the President.
25:50And so the obvious idea
25:51that you're supposed
25:51to have loyalty
25:52to the wrong person,
25:54we're not supposed
25:55to be a nation
25:56where one person is king
25:57and the rest of everyone
25:58takes a knee.
25:59Yes.
26:01I'm in California.
26:03I'm in California, Bill.
26:05I'm feeling a little bit
26:06better right now.
26:07But I have to confess
26:08to you that over
26:09the last couple of weeks,
26:10I threw up about three times
26:11watching these damn people
26:12working for Trump.
26:13If I see another one
26:15of these administration officials
26:17fawning over Donald Trump,
26:19I'm going to lose
26:19my damn mind.
26:20What happened
26:21to just doing your job?
26:22If somebody walks,
26:23I don't care
26:23if it's Pete Hegseth,
26:24I don't care
26:25if it's Kristi Noem
26:25before she ultimately
26:27was reassigned,
26:28I don't care
26:28if it's Mark Wayne Mullen
26:30who's the new secretary
26:32for the Department
26:32of Homeland Security,
26:33I don't care,
26:34anybody but Rubio
26:35because he hasn't done that.
26:36He's been the adult
26:36in the room.
26:37The Vice President himself,
26:38if they went
26:39and got the President
26:40a cup of coffee,
26:42they literally are saying,
26:43I just want to applaud
26:44your great leadership.
26:45He's such a wonderful,
26:46great member.
26:47We are so lucky
26:48to have him in office.
26:49I mean,
26:50the kiss,
26:51excuse my language,
26:52the kissing of his ass
26:54is so,
26:55it's so nauseating.
26:58It's so nauseating.
26:59And listen,
27:00I'm saying,
27:01I'm not saying,
27:02I'm not saying
27:03don't do your job.
27:04I'm not saying
27:04if you believe
27:05in his vision,
27:05don't be loyal to him.
27:06I'm not saying
27:06any of that.
27:07But the fawning,
27:08they don't know
27:09breeds such a flagrant
27:11level of distrust
27:12because if you
27:13fawn over him
27:14so much,
27:15you're shoving
27:16or throwing objectivity
27:17right out the window
27:18and then the chances
27:19of us believing
27:20that you would
27:21ever disagree with him
27:22or you would
27:22ever speak against him
27:23in any way
27:24on behalf of
27:25the American people
27:26is not something
27:27we can trust.
27:28I mean,
27:28I thought...
27:34It's all true.
27:35I couldn't argue
27:36with anyone.
27:37I'm just amazed
27:37that 10 years on,
27:39people are just still
27:40that agitated about it.
27:42I just...
27:43I'm used to this.
27:43Agitated about what?
27:44What you just said,
27:45the fawning.
27:46Yes.
27:46I mean,
27:46I was doing bits
27:47about this,
27:48you know,
27:48back before I was
27:49wearing glasses.
27:50You went ahead
27:50on the curb.
27:51You went ahead
27:52on the curb
27:52but I don't know
27:53if it was this bad.
27:53I know,
27:54but it's been going
27:55on for a very long time.
27:56I just can't...
27:57Like,
27:57he is who he is.
27:59I just can't get
28:00constantly...
28:01I'm not talking
28:01about him.
28:02I'm talking about all of them.
28:03...endlessly worked up
28:03about the same things
28:04which I recognize.
28:05I'm condoning them.
28:06I'm just saying,
28:06it amazes me
28:07that people are going
28:07to be like,
28:08Donald Trump
28:09is getting his ass
28:09kissed all the time.
28:10Like,
28:11yeah?
28:11Yeah.
28:12But if you stop caring,
28:14if you stop getting agitated...
28:15Well, if you stop caring,
28:16I'm just...
28:16But that's,
28:18you know,
28:18that's the net
28:20in the tennis game.
28:21It's not going away.
28:22How do we still win the game?
28:24But it's not that...
28:26It's not going away.
28:27It's growing.
28:29It's...
28:30I mean,
28:31it's worse than...
28:32I literally mean
28:34if they walked up to him
28:35and handed him
28:36a cup of coffee,
28:37they have to give you
28:39a soliloquy
28:39about how wonderful
28:41and marvelous he is.
28:42But here's the thing.
28:42Here's the thing.
28:43The Democrats...
28:44We're going to have
28:45midterm elections
28:46very soon.
28:47Now,
28:48here's the stats
28:49that are important.
28:49Seven in ten people
28:50say tariffs
28:51have cost them money.
28:53Food is up 2.9%
28:55since January.
28:56Household debt
28:57up 4%.
28:59Right.
28:59Utilities up 6%.
29:01Yeah.
29:01Obamacare subsidies
29:02cut 22 million people.
29:05Um...
29:06The Democrats
29:06are not going to win
29:07this election.
29:08The Republicans
29:09are going to lose it.
29:11There's a difference
29:12between not winning
29:13and losing.
29:14Okay?
29:15The Democrats
29:16can't not win this
29:17because of all this
29:19that's going on.
29:20But that's kind of...
29:22The Democrats
29:23can't not win this?
29:25The Democrats?
29:26Not the midterms.
29:27They've invented ways to lose.
29:28Not the midterms.
29:33Not the midterms.
29:36Not the midterms.
29:38They're just going to say
29:38let Trump win this one for us
29:40and that's going to happen.
29:42But it's kind of like
29:43I saw this game.
29:43You probably watched it
29:44because you see every game.
29:45Some...
29:46I think it was the Cavaliers
29:47and they won.
29:49Okay.
29:49Like 138 to 132.
29:51And the coach
29:51after the game
29:52was pissed.
29:53His team won.
29:54But he said like
29:55if we're going to give up
29:55132 points
29:57we're not going anywhere
29:58in the playoffs.
29:58He's right.
29:59And that's what
30:00this reminds me of.
30:02Well that's because
30:03to your point maybe
30:04if you are simply
30:06campaigning
30:07on being reactive
30:08if you're simply
30:09campaigning on
30:09somebody clutching
30:10their pearls
30:11and being horrified
30:12by what's become
30:13normalized
30:14then you will not
30:15be successful
30:15at pointing out
30:16what ought to be.
30:18If you spend your time
30:19focusing on
30:20what the standards are
30:21what the national
30:22practices ought to be
30:23what the law
30:23actually says
30:24what free voting
30:26looks like
30:26what the idea
30:27of an accessible
30:28and free democracy
30:30and free press
30:31looks like
30:31if you are active
30:33and proactive
30:33about those things
30:34I think it's difficult
30:36for people
30:36to look a different
30:37direction.
30:38But if you spend
30:38your time
30:39assuming that
30:40everyone is going
30:41to be as shocked
30:43as disgusted
30:44and as willing
30:46to be worked up
30:47as long as they are
30:48then that is
30:48the losing game.
30:49Look at your point
30:50you just made.
30:50You're shocked
30:51that people are
30:51still caring about it.
30:52If that's the strategy.
30:53I didn't say that.
30:54I didn't say caring.
30:55I just worked up.
30:58Still shocked
30:58like tomato
30:59tomato
30:59you care
31:00what you worked up
31:00about.
31:01It's so different.
31:02It's so different.
31:02You still care
31:04but you just
31:04after 10 years
31:05you just can't
31:06I just can't
31:07get it up.
31:08It for me
31:09it just
31:09for this issue
31:14for this issue.
31:17I just
31:18I look at it
31:19from this table.
31:20I will say this.
31:21If Trump
31:22and the administration
31:23had stayed
31:24stayed on the same path
31:26and never sent
31:27Tom Holman in
31:28to Minnesota
31:30and you know
31:31after the two
31:32individuals
31:33were unfortunate
31:34they unfortunately
31:34lost their lives
31:35dealing with ice
31:36and what have you
31:37if they had stayed
31:37on that path
31:38and hadn't sent them
31:39to Minnesota
31:40to handle that
31:40to calm the waters
31:42per se
31:42and Kristi Noem
31:43still was allowed
31:45to go out there
31:45and spend about
31:46200 million dollars
31:47advertising herself
31:48and talking about DHS
31:50and all the things
31:50that they were doing
31:51I think that
31:52they would be
31:52on a path
31:53to their own
31:53self-destruction
31:54but having calmed
31:55that down
31:56I think that
31:57it's still possible
31:58they can win
31:59the midterms.
31:59The message
31:59between things
32:00that matter
32:01those are actions
32:02that actually matter
32:03the ass kissing
32:05and his craziness
32:06and that's just
32:07that's just not
32:08going to go away
32:08until he does.
32:09Anyway
32:10other stories
32:11to cover
32:11really important stories
32:12can you show
32:13the headline
32:13about Barbie
32:14I thought I had seen
32:16everything
32:18this was so disturbing
32:19Barbie sold
32:20a discount store
32:21test positive
32:22for cocaine
32:23and fentanyl
32:24just when you think
32:25it's safe to go back
32:26in the water
32:27I tell you
32:28this was so disturbing
32:30to me
32:30and it's true
32:31apparently Barbie
32:32is into the drugs
32:33and I don't know
32:35if you have kids
32:36who have Barbies
32:37but we thought
32:37as a PSA
32:38because we're always
32:39trying to do
32:39the right thing
32:40for America
32:40we would show you
32:42some of the signs
32:42which you'd like to see
32:43if your kid
32:45has a Barbie
32:46you might want to
32:46look out for these
32:47for example
32:49Barbie
32:50she looks like
32:51a troll doll
32:51now
32:52that's
32:54the Paw Patrol
32:56dog always
32:57barks at her purse
33:04she's dating
33:05Lamar Odom
33:13all of her conversations
33:15now end with the words
33:16we good
33:16right
33:22her famous pink Corvette
33:24now has Florida plates
33:25and trash bags
33:26for windows
33:32Bob the Builder
33:33found her
33:33stealing copper wire
33:35from a job site
33:41in the Barbie sequel
33:43she's now being played
33:44by Courtney Love
33:52she told Ken
33:54he needs to get
33:55himself tested
33:55that's
34:02and she's sleeping
34:04in the box
34:04she came in
34:05oh that's so sad
34:08so sad
34:15big big story
34:16we have not
34:17mentioned yet
34:17let's do it now
34:18big tech
34:20finally lost one
34:22finally lost one
34:23a lot of people
34:24are just happy
34:25for this
34:25because they've
34:27never lost one
34:27and this
34:29was the two trials
34:29went in New Mexico
34:30375 million dollars
34:32awarded
34:33this is against
34:33Meta
34:34that's Facebook
34:35and Instagram
34:36and YouTube
34:37I think
34:38is in all business
34:39but mostly
34:40it's Zuckerberg
34:41who got the headlines
34:43lack safety
34:44protocols
34:45that allowed
34:46sexual predators
34:47to contact
34:48minors
34:48and then
34:50the one here in LA
34:51we heard a lot about
34:52a young woman
34:54named Kaylee
34:54got 6 million dollars
34:55claiming she was
34:56hooked on YouTube
34:57and Instagram
34:58and the difference
35:00here is that
35:01they've always been
35:02safe because there
35:03was a shield law
35:04from 1996
35:05that said
35:06you can't hold
35:07people responsible
35:08hold the companies
35:09responsible
35:09for the content
35:10this is making the case
35:13the app itself
35:14is addictive
35:15they're making the analogy
35:16to tobacco companies
35:17you knew it
35:18and they have quotes
35:20by the way
35:20from Meta employees
35:22like LOL
35:22I mean all social media
35:24were basically pushers
35:26that's kind of a smoking gun
35:27so
35:29they knew they were doing it
35:31just like the tobacco companies
35:33and they did it
35:35the counter argument
35:36is
35:37doesn't all media
35:38try to hook you
35:39doesn't every product
35:40try to hook you
35:41and make you come back
35:42for more of it
35:42isn't that the American way
35:44well this is a design defect
35:46right
35:47that they are thinking
35:47essentially
35:48that they're trying to hook
35:49just like big tobacco
35:50as long as possible
35:52the biggest audience
35:53by confronting
35:54and trying to go after
35:55the most vulnerable minds
35:56who
35:57don't have
35:58perhaps
35:58the wherewithal
35:59or the restraint
36:01or even the ability
36:02plain and simple
36:03to put the phone down
36:04to turn away from it
36:05and so you've got this issue
36:07where they were intentionally
36:08trying to design an app
36:09whether it's the
36:09you know auto scroll
36:11or it's the infinite scroll
36:12whatever the scroll might be
36:13to make sure
36:14that you stayed on it
36:15kind of like
36:16the way they would go after
36:17with Joe Campbell
36:18and everything else
36:18young people
36:19so I think this is a very creative
36:21and necessary way
36:22to go around
36:23the section 230
36:24you're talking about
36:25that suggests
36:26that you're always
36:27going to be immunized
36:29you can do no wrong
36:30because somebody else
36:31actually said the content
36:32this is
36:33I'm pushing the content
36:34I'm making sure
36:35that you never can
36:36turn away from the content
36:37isn't that very much
36:39like big tobacco
36:40and on it be punished
36:41it's very much like
36:42Lay's potato chips
36:43well I can eat just one
36:45you can eat just one
36:46I can eat just one
36:47okay but
36:53well things we didn't know
36:54about to find out
36:56on this show
36:57I would say this
36:58two things could be true
36:59everything that you just
37:00highlighted is right
37:01on the money
37:01and I get that
37:02and when you consider
37:04the algorithms
37:05and how things
37:06are targeting
37:07towards adults
37:09then one could easily
37:10argue you know
37:11you've got malintent
37:13when you're targeting
37:13children because
37:14they're more vulnerable
37:15and so your willingness
37:16to do that
37:16you definitely need
37:17to be called
37:18to the carpet for it
37:19but in the same breath
37:20that that can be true
37:21it's also true
37:22that parental supervision
37:24to some degree
37:25definitely needs
37:26to be something
37:27that needs to be addressed
37:28there are a lot
37:28of people out here
37:29that are deadbeat parents
37:31that they're not
37:31paying attention
37:32to what goes on
37:33with their children
37:33that's why they think
37:34this may lose
37:35on appeal
37:36it probably will
37:37lose on appeal
37:37or at least be modified
37:38to be a lesser penalty
37:39than it's expected to be
37:42there's a problem
37:42with the tobacco
37:43analogy there
37:44because this
37:45the parents
37:47are the cigarette
37:48companies in this analogy
37:49because they gave
37:50the kid the phone
37:51I mean this kid
37:52was on Instagram
37:53at 8
37:548
37:55ok
37:56you know
37:57this is like
37:59parents all over
38:00the country
38:00let their kids
38:01go to their room
38:02with the phone
38:03it's like
38:03go to your room
38:05kids and smoke
38:05cigarettes
38:06in your room
38:07you know
38:08I mean that's crazy
38:09there's a level
38:10of culpability
38:10that has to be placed
38:11on the shoulders
38:12of the parents
38:13to the point where
38:13you know what
38:14it ain't just
38:15companies that need
38:16to be targeted
38:16to some degree
38:17you gotta investigate
38:18and probe
38:18into what role
38:19the parents played
38:20in assisting
38:21their children
38:22being vulnerable
38:23there was their
38:23dereliction of duty
38:24did you pay attention
38:25were you on top
38:26of things
38:26were you even
38:26interested in being
38:27on top of things
38:28all of those things
38:29fall in line
38:30as far as I'm concerned
38:31if you're gonna go
38:31to court
38:32if a judge is looking
38:33at it you should
38:33look at all of those
38:34I think it's a cop out
38:34though in some respects
38:35to say that it's just
38:36the parent's responsibility
38:37I agree
38:38I'm a parent
38:39not just
38:40I'm saying that
38:41I am a parent
38:42and I am a very
38:44vigilant parent
38:45I'm driving my kids
38:46I'm the one
38:47who has the car
38:48and yet
38:49I've noticed
38:49that they know
38:50the words
38:50to songs
38:51I've never played
38:52now how does
38:53that happen
38:53right
38:54they're in school
38:55how many hours
38:55a day
38:56they're in sports
38:57how many hours
38:57they're in band
38:58or whatever else
38:58they're in my car
38:59they're in my house
39:00how do you know
39:01all the words
39:01to this song
39:02and I'll tell you
39:03that's part
39:04of the idea
39:04of what
39:06I'd like to know
39:06the answer to that
39:07Bill
39:07we never know
39:08as parents
39:10we don't know
39:11and so the thing
39:13about it is
39:15that is that gap
39:16that question
39:17that's there
39:17is exactly where
39:18some companies
39:19say aha
39:20here's where
39:20I will find
39:21myself next
39:22and make sure
39:22that it flourishes
39:23to take advantage
39:24of this particular child
39:24and we do this
39:25all the time
39:25we bring things
39:26into our homes
39:27that we don't know
39:27are okay
39:28I don't have kids
39:29so if I'm off base here
39:31can't you say
39:32to your kid
39:33how do you know
39:34those words
39:34I do
39:35and guess what
39:35they say
39:36I hear it
39:37yeah
39:39friends
39:39people in school
39:40people you're hanging out with
39:42all this stuff
39:42on the radio
39:43you've got a child
39:44I've got two daughters
39:45and so I say this
39:46not to say
39:46that parents
39:47should not be vigilant
39:48but I say that
39:49if you think
39:50that companies
39:51that have a vested
39:52monetary interest
39:54in making sure
39:55that they can hook
39:55a consumer
39:56for a lifetime
39:57are not looking
39:59for the moments
39:59of vigilance
40:00being let down
40:01that's the whole point
40:03and so
40:03why do kids drink
40:04why do kids smoke
40:06but what I'm saying
40:06Laura is
40:07you're absolutely right
40:08but the flip side
40:09to that is
40:09that doesn't mean
40:10that if you're a court
40:11and a case comes
40:13before you
40:13you don't ask
40:14because every parent
40:16ain't as diligent
40:17as Laura Coates
40:17a lot of parents
40:19drop the ball
40:19a lot of parents
40:20ain't doing their job
40:21a lot of parents
40:21are out doing
40:22their own damn thing
40:23and they don't give a damn
40:24about what their kids
40:24are doing
40:25they literally say
40:25hey you got a roof
40:26over your head
40:27you got food on the plate
40:28go live your life
40:29and they're not
40:30putting forth
40:30their due diligence
40:31to make sure
40:32they're actually parenting
40:33and as a result
40:35it has a harmful effect
40:36not just on the kid
40:37but on society
40:38because of the kind
40:39of kids you raise
40:39because you weren't
40:40raising them at all
40:41when those kind
40:41of things happen
40:42if you got
40:43you're in the court
40:43of law
40:44you know you probe
40:44that you look
40:45into that
40:45you say
40:46a case by case
40:47basis as it pertains
40:48to parent involvement
40:50definitely is warranted
40:51especially in cases
40:52like this
40:57did you uh
40:58did you see
40:59what Sir Charles
40:59said yesterday
41:00about whooping kids
41:01what did he say
41:02Charles Buckley
41:03you gotta spank them
41:04oh no no no
41:05I don't
41:06I've said this
41:07on many many occasions
41:08I mean I
41:08luckily I haven't
41:09had to in the last
41:10few years
41:11but I'm a dad
41:12I will whip your ass
41:13make no mistake
41:14you act up
41:15you act up
41:16I'm a black man
41:17I'm not
41:17there ain't no time
41:18out in the corner
41:19not this way
41:19oh no no no no
41:20you act up
41:22you gonna feel something
41:23okay
41:24make no mistake
41:25about it
41:25now I understand
41:26in this politically
41:28I understand
41:29in this politically
41:30correct world
41:31we're living in
41:32and I call it
41:32the Oprah-fied society
41:33because it started
41:34with her
41:35and all of these
41:35damn explanations
41:36for every little
41:37thing that went on
41:37Dr. Phil
41:38Dr. Oz
41:39and everybody
41:39in between
41:39he came along
41:40thereafter
41:41but it never
41:42changed
41:43in the Smith
41:44household
41:44when I acted up
41:46I got my ass
41:48whipped
41:48when my father
41:49did
41:49he got his ass
41:50whipped
41:51it's been passed
41:52down through
41:53generations
41:54it ain't changing
41:55you act up
41:58and you're a kid
41:59and you're disobedient
42:02you're gonna get
42:03your ass whipped
42:04they're gonna be
42:05corporate punishment
42:06pulling a tree
42:07branch
42:07no they did that
42:08in my grandfather's
42:09days and stuff
42:09they're gonna do
42:09that now
42:10but when you get
42:11a spanking
42:12in the Smith
42:13household
42:14hell yes
42:20I'm not gonna
42:22come to your house
42:22okay
42:23you don't do that
42:24I don't like
42:25to be spanked
42:29that's the point
42:30is they don't like it
42:33that's why
42:33they didn't act up
42:35I'm gonna leave it alone
42:36yeah this
42:37this conversation
42:41is getting weird
42:45we have only a few minutes
42:48but you're a big sports guy
42:49and this is a big issue
42:50more than sports
42:51Olympics
42:52what do you make
42:53of that story today
42:54that the Olympics
42:55have said
42:56they are not allowing
42:57trans women anymore
42:58competing in women's sports
43:01I imagine
43:03I imagine
43:04this is gonna be an issue
43:05in the Democratic primaries
43:07it's another one
43:08where you can make
43:09Democrats die on the hill
43:10that they died on last time
43:11if it's an issue
43:12within the Democratic party
43:13that's their own damn problem
43:16biological men
43:17should not be competing
43:20against biological girls
43:22in sports
43:23period
43:25period
43:26I am a supporter
43:27of the LGBTQ plus community
43:30I don't want to get
43:31in the way of anybody's
43:32civil rights
43:33civil liberties
43:34or anything like that
43:35but what about
43:35protecting the young ladies
43:37young ladies
43:38going up against
43:39men
43:39you know
43:40biological men
43:42there is no excuse
43:44for that
43:44and by the way
43:44you know what
43:45you could be
43:45you know Liam Thomas
43:46for example
43:47was you know
43:48was a male
43:48and he was ranked
43:49like over 400
43:50yeah the swimmer
43:51he was ranked
43:51like over 400th
43:52in the world
43:53she
43:53and then she
43:54and then he became
43:55a she
43:56okay
43:56he became
43:57you know
43:57transitioning
43:58and number one
43:59well damn it
44:01does it really
44:02take an Einstein
44:03to realize
44:06there is no reason
44:12for a biological male
44:14to be competing
44:15in women's sports
44:16we certainly don't see
44:17biological women
44:18transitioning and trying
44:20to compete in men's sports
44:21I don't hear about that
44:22but is there
44:24when the democratic debates come
44:26yeah
44:27is there one candidate
44:29on that stage
44:29who's going to be clear
44:30like this
44:31who's going to just say it
44:32outright like that
44:33no
44:33exactly
44:34and that's why
44:35they're going to be vulnerable
44:36after they kick ass
44:37in the midterm
44:38that's why they've been vulnerable
44:39all right
44:39thank you very much
44:40time for new rules
44:49okay new rule
44:50someone has to break it
44:52to these Venezuelans
44:53who poured into the streets
44:54to celebrate their victory
44:55over the U.S.
44:56and the world baseball classic
44:57that we didn't even know
44:59that was a thing
45:02no really
45:03enjoy the victory
45:04just know that
45:05while you're honking
45:06your horns
45:07and dancing the night away
45:08our CIA
45:08planned this
45:09as a distraction
45:10so Trump can take your oil
45:18new rule
45:19woke ain't dead
45:20here in California
45:22this week
45:22they canceled
45:23the governor's debate
45:24because some people
45:25were outraged
45:26that the top
45:27six candidates
45:28were all white
45:28even though
45:30this is what
45:30the people voted for
45:31and the people
45:32are 62% minority
45:34if their opinion
45:36was Javier Becerra
45:37is fucking awesome
45:38we'd know
45:46and for the record
45:47just because
45:47the top six candidates
45:49are all white
45:49it doesn't mean
45:50there's no diversity
45:51I mean
45:52I see all different
45:53types of people
45:54I don't want
46:03you know
46:04now that young people
46:05have started knitting
46:07to avoid spending
46:08too much time
46:09on their phones
46:10someone must
46:11congratulate them
46:11for finding a bigger
46:12waste of time
46:13than social media
46:17I mean
46:20knitting made sense
46:21when we had to
46:22make our own clothes
46:23but now we have
46:24factories of children
46:25for that
46:32seriously
46:33just shake your ass
46:34kids on TikTok
46:35if option B
46:36is to spend all day
46:37making a pot holder
46:38that's all I'm saying
46:44to save everybody
46:45a lot of time
46:46the news media
46:47must only report
46:48when a member
46:49of the Duggar family
46:50isn't accused
46:51of molesting a kid
46:58also you should
46:59change the name
46:59of the show
47:00from 19 kids
47:01and counting
47:02to 19 counts
47:03I'm not kidding
47:12don't make me look
47:13at a baby picture
47:14of your new grandchild
47:28they all look alike
47:29to me
47:31I don't have kids
47:33I don't like kids
47:34and I don't want
47:34to see kids
47:35so to me
47:36this is the equivalent
47:37of sending me
47:38an unsolicited dick pic
47:47it is
47:49now I know
47:49what women feel like
47:51I have to pretend
47:51to like it
47:52and also be amazed
47:53at how proud you are
47:54of something so tiny
48:02and finally
48:04new rule
48:04given the increasing
48:05number in recent years
48:06of sightings
48:07by serious military
48:08personnel
48:09of unknown aircraft
48:10operating outside
48:11our current abilities
48:13if at this point
48:14you don't believe
48:15aliens are here
48:16and observing us
48:17maybe you're
48:18the conspiracy theorist
48:22now
48:26in the past
48:27when it came
48:28to alien life
48:29I was like
48:30a liberal college
48:31girl
48:31whose roommate
48:32is a lesbian
48:36not sold on it
48:37but open
48:38to the possibility
48:40look my opinion
48:42changes
48:42when the information
48:43changes
48:44yes there was a time
48:46when the only
48:47actual contact
48:48we heard from
48:48about aliens
48:49was rural people
48:51who had been abducted
48:52and anally probed
48:55but you don't hear
48:56about that anymore
48:57why
48:58my guess is
48:59the aliens
49:00gathered all
49:01the information
49:02they needed
49:03about us
49:03that they could get
49:05through our ass
49:10it's where I'd look
49:12but now
49:13they seem to be
49:14on to another phase
49:15they seem to want
49:16to be spotted
49:17why else
49:18this constant
49:18playing peekaboo
49:19with our military
49:20and it's serious
49:22people now
49:22not hippies
49:24or hillbillies
49:24serious people
49:26people with
49:26Mike Pence's haircut
49:34who are saying
49:36that they keep
49:37seeing things
49:38move through
49:39air and ocean
49:40in ways
49:41that defy
49:42our physics
49:43military pilots
49:44who say
49:45yeah
49:45I saw something
49:46doing Mach 10
49:47and then it stopped
49:48on a dime
49:49and disappeared
49:50that's not a drone
49:51that's not something
49:53from another country
49:54even Elon
49:55is like
49:55not me
50:02now
50:04the government's
50:05official public line
50:07is we don't know
50:07what these things are
50:08but in private
50:09what they say is
50:10no seriously
50:11we don't know
50:12what the fuck
50:12these things are
50:15but
50:19but
50:20they didn't leak
50:21from a lab
50:21in China
50:23that's why
50:24in 2022
50:25Congress had historic
50:27first of its kind
50:28hearings
50:28on what the defense
50:29department calls
50:30unidentified aerial
50:32phenomena
50:32formerly called UFOs
50:34but don't dead name them
50:37and again
50:38it's not weirdos
50:40and beardos
50:41saying this
50:41it's the guys
50:42with buzz cuts
50:43and security clearances
50:44who are spilling the tea
50:46and politicians
50:47who you don't think
50:49are crazy people
50:50like Chuck Schumer
50:52Harry Reid
50:53Marco Rubio
50:54Kirsten Gillibrand
50:56they're not disputing it
50:58Jimmy Carter said
50:59he saw a UFO
51:00George W. Bush said
51:01yeah
51:02there are secrets
51:03about aliens
51:03and no
51:04I won't tell you
51:08Barack Obama
51:09recently made headlines
51:10when he said
51:11aliens
51:11quote
51:12are real
51:13but I haven't seen them
51:14former director of national intelligence
51:17general James Clapper
51:18is on board
51:19and our current director
51:20of national intelligence
51:22has indicated
51:22that she believes
51:24in the possibility
51:25of alien life
51:26also
51:26that it illegally
51:28voted for Joe Biden
51:29in Georgia
51:37if you don't believe me now
51:40you will in June
51:41when Steven Spielberg's movie
51:43called Disclosure Day
51:45comes out
51:46this on the heels
51:47of the documentary
51:48from last year
51:49called
51:49Age of Disclosure
51:51you get it
51:52Disclosure
51:53we're at the Disclosure moment
51:56in human history
51:57so can we cut the crap
51:58they're here
51:59they came in a sphere
52:00get used to it
52:03so
52:08so if I may
52:09I would now like
52:11to address
52:11the aliens directly
52:16in my capacity
52:17as the most rational
52:19person on earth
52:20which
52:21I'm sure they know
52:27I'm sure they know
52:28everything about me
52:29if they figured out
52:30intergalactic travel
52:31I'm guessing
52:32they have cable
52:35and so
52:38as the representative
52:39of all humans
52:44the first thing
52:45I'd like to say
52:45to you is
52:46hi
52:48please don't kill us
52:49even though you could
52:57probably just by
52:58pushing a button
52:59and I'm guessing
53:00you think about it
53:00every time you see
53:01Jake Paul's podcast
53:07look
53:09we've seen you go
53:10from zero
53:11to what the fuck
53:12was that
53:12in half a second
53:13we get it
53:14there's no sense
53:14trying to fight you
53:15two years ago
53:17one of our drones
53:18launched a hellfire missile
53:20at a high speed orb
53:21and it hit it
53:22and just bounced off
53:24first of all
53:25I'd just like to
53:26offer an apology
53:29for that
53:30on behalf
53:31of all humans
53:32that was our bad
53:33that was dumb
53:34and yes
53:35we do have a lot
53:36of dumb people here
53:37assholes
53:38hotheads
53:39shitheads
53:40manosphere
53:40morons
53:41meatheads
53:42and that's just
53:43the conservatives
53:44don't get me started
53:45on the woke
53:52so it certainly
53:53would be understandable
53:54if you decided
53:55we were just
53:56too stupid to live
53:57it must be
53:58maddening
53:59studying us
53:59because we are
54:00obviously capable
54:01of advancements
54:02that aren't
54:03completely embarrassing
54:05like gene editing
54:06and cloud computing
54:07but we're also
54:08idiots
54:09we're the species
54:10that created
54:11the internet
54:12but also the one
54:13that once broke it
54:14with this chick's ass
54:20so
54:29so I don't know
54:31what we can offer you
54:32the stuff that we think
54:33makes living here great
54:35I'm guessing
54:36you're way beyond
54:37sex
54:38and good food
54:39and getting fucked up
54:41I doubt if you care
54:42about that stuff
54:43minerals
54:44we got them
54:47I don't know
54:48if that still interests you
54:49you may be beyond them
54:50or maybe ours
54:51are obsolete
54:52although
54:52have you heard about
54:53clean coal
54:57okay
55:01but yeah
55:02I don't know
55:02what we have here
55:03for you
55:04climate
55:04we think ours
55:05is pretty uniquely
55:06pleasant in the universe
55:07but who knows
55:08what you have
55:09but just so you know
55:10ours has trillions
55:12of viruses in it
55:13and that's what killed
55:15the aliens
55:15in War of the Worlds
55:19just pointing that out
55:20as a friend
55:23because I'd like to think
55:25we are friends
55:26after all
55:26if you wanted us dead
55:27we'd be dead already
55:29truth is
55:30you may be here
55:31to save us
55:32not kill us
55:33in 1967
55:34an Air Force
55:35captain
55:36and nuclear
55:37crew commander
55:37who were there
55:38revealed an incident
55:40when something
55:41unidentifiable
55:42hovered over
55:43Maelstrom Air Base
55:44in Montana
55:45and then miraculously
55:46ten nuclear weapons
55:47suddenly became
55:49disabled
55:49was something
55:51about to go
55:52terribly wrong
55:52and you stepped in
55:53whatever it is
55:55please do more
55:55shit like that
56:03please feel free
56:05to beat our swords
56:07into plowshares
56:08because plainly
56:09we're not going
56:10to do it
56:10get us off oil
56:11get us off our phones
56:13and AI
56:14the father of AI
56:16said there was
56:17a 10 to 20% chance
56:18of it being
56:19an extinction event
56:20and yet we keep
56:22hurtling forward
56:23with it
56:24as we do
56:24with global warming
56:26and the factory
56:27farming that
56:28causes pandemics
56:29look it would be
56:30great if we could
56:31stop ourselves
56:32from self-destructive
56:33behavior
56:34but the truth is
56:35you should think
56:36of the human race
56:37as Britney Spears
56:42it would be nice
56:44if we didn't need
56:45a conservatorship
56:46but in reality
56:47we really do
56:50thank you aliens
56:51thank you people
56:52that's our show
56:53we're off next week
56:54and back on April 10th
56:55I want to thank
56:56Stephen A. Smith
56:57Laura Coates
56:58and Federer
56:59Alyssa Slotkin
