00:00How would you describe the state of relations between Islamabad and Tehran and Washington?
00:08So Pakistan's relations with Tehran, I think, very interesting.
00:13There have been a lot of instances where in the past, both the countries have not seen eye to eye.
00:18There have been issues between the two countries.
00:21Two years ago, there was a missile attack from Iran inside Pakistan, and then Pakistan retaliated.
00:28And Pakistan has mentioned about support that the BLA, the Belochic Liberation Army, that has gotten from neighboring countries without
00:38naming any country.
00:39So there have been issues.
00:40But in the recent one year or so, I think the relations between the two countries have improved significantly.
00:46We've seen when Pakistan had a war with India and Iran, you know, issuing statements which are in favor of
00:54Pakistan.
00:54And now Pakistan helping out Iran, even the Iranian president, he has tweeted, he has thanked Pakistan.
01:01And there is a lot of camaraderie that we see right now.
01:04In terms of Pakistan's relation with Washington, you know, again, it's the same.
01:09Pakistan's relationship with Washington was not that good, if you say, just two years ago.
01:14There was no relationship at all.
01:15But during Trump's regime, Trump's administration, relationship has gotten much better.
01:21Pakistan has a seat on the table.
01:23Pakistan has a say.
01:25And, you know, Pakistan is leveraging that position with Iran, with the U.S. and with the Gulf countries to
01:31broker a piece,
01:32because Pakistan, among other countries, is very much affected by what's happening in the region.
01:38Pakistan has a seat on the side of the Gulf countries to broker a piece of the Gulf countries to
01:39broker a piece of the Gulf countries.
