00:08What is the national perspective on the Red Sox' chances this season?

00:13I think they're viewed positively, right?

00:15I think people look at the Red Sox and they look at the rotation.

00:18I think Roman Anthony really comported himself well at the WBC, right?

00:23So first over anyone that may not have sort of known who Roman Anthony was or what he's almost certainly

00:31they saw it in those big games over the last month.

00:36He was really good at the WBC at a time when the American team often looked terrible.

00:42He was like a real bright spot.

00:46They can use a big bat in the middle of the lineup.

00:48There's a sort of noticeable absence of like a big nasher, right, in the middle.

00:56However, however, you sort of look around the American League and it's hard not to put the Red Sox

01:02in at least that upper tier of pubs in the league, right?

01:06I mean, like the Yankees are the Yankees.

01:08They're going to be good.

01:09They scored, they looked great last night, scored seven runs.

01:14Like Seattle might be good again.

01:16Toronto, yeah, they were in the World Series last year.

01:18They're going to be good, but they may have taken a step back.

01:23The Red Sox were in the playoffs last year.

01:25And honestly, I expect them to be in the playoffs again this year.

01:28I do think they're good enough.

01:30I love the moves they made, obviously, in their rotation.

01:34And that's, I think, will get them through.

01:36And as the season goes on, maybe they'll find a way to pick up a bat.

01:40And I'm like, a lot is going to be riding on Roman Anthony.

01:43They're counting on him.

01:44This is no longer like, hey, rookie, let's see what you got.

01:47No, no.

01:48They're counting on him to be a big nasher all season long.

01:53And I think he's up for the challenge.
