00:00How do you think Epic Fury is impacting China right now?
00:05Yeah, it is really the most important question, and I think it's neglected in this.
00:10And I would say it's not just Beijing, but also Moscow.
00:13So if you back out and look at what the president's been able to do in Venezuela and now in
00:18Iran,
00:18yes, he's demonstrating the will of the United States to protect power, to protect its interests.
00:22Critically important and absolutely essential.
00:26They knew we were capable of doing it.
00:27They always questioned American will.
00:28They were calling this president's administration isolationists.
00:32I don't know who could argue that now.
00:34Second, we did it successfully in both cases.
00:37We're achieving things that no one else, no other military certainly is capable of doing.
00:40And most importantly, you don't see China or Russia coming to the aid of either the Venezuelan partners that they
00:46theoretically had,
00:47nor do Iran's aid.
00:48And that, I think, is not lost on the rest of the world.
00:51Second, and perhaps more importantly, is the president is setting conditions to do two things,
00:56to be able to exert greater control over global energy markets and preserve it because the economy of our and
01:01the rest of the world is based on it.
01:03But second, it controls and throttles import revenue or rather export revenue that the Russians rely upon as a principal
01:10oil exporter and gas exporter.
01:12And the president has done that successfully up to this point, radically cutting Russian GDP growth and defense spending just
01:18as a result of managing prices.
01:20Second, China is a complete dependent upon imports of Middle Eastern and other oil and gas.
01:26And the president now is exerting control of partners and allies over that.
01:29And that signals Beijing that they may not have the critical resources they require to be able to threaten the
01:35United States or Taiwan or our interests without the oil they require.
01:38And their economy is dependent upon.
01:40So this is a strategic move of absolute critical importance that has only part to do with Iran, part with
01:47Venezuela.
01:47But the president's strategic vision, I think, is much clearer than that and far more important, I think, than people
01:54give him credit.
