00:00President Vernon R. Marcos Jr. has signed a law extending the mandate of the Second Congressional Commission on Education for

00:07another two years.

00:08The extension aims to continue overseeing education reforms and ensure that the country's education system aligns with national and workforce

00:17needs.

00:18Under the new law, EDCOM 2 will proceed with research, consultations and monitoring the implementation of education and workforce development

00:28plans.

00:28It will also coordinate with government agencies to improve learning programs, strengthen teacher training and address gaps in schools.
