00:34Dr. Charles Hannum says the age-old hold-your-nose-and-blow trick may not be enough.
00:40Avoid traveling with children when they are sick, but if it's unavoidable, Hannum explains,
00:45a saline spray plus keeping them well hydrated can help move mucus around.
00:50Use Tylenol or ibuprofen and time the dosing to about 30 minutes before the plane is landing.
00:57The site reiterates drinking something or yawning can help.
01:01And if they're crying because of it, rather than trying to stop them, let them cry it out.
