00:00But what Aaron Glenn said there, as far as Geno Smith leading the Jets to the promised land,
00:06it depends on your definition of promised land and whether or not you want to crush what Aaron Glenn said.
00:13If he meant playoffs, it's ridiculous.
00:16If he meant Super Bowl, it's ridiculous.
00:18If he meant what I think he meant, then he's spot on.
00:23The promised land for the Jets is the number one overall pick in 2027.
00:28That's the promised land.
00:30Because then you will have the pick of the litter.
00:31You will have the opportunity to draft your quarterback of the future in what should be a very good quarterback
00:38class.
00:40That's the promised land.
00:41And that's why you bring in Geno Smith.
00:43Because much like the Raiders, he got them to the promised land because he got them the number one overall
00:49pick
00:50to where they will select Fernando Mendoza.
00:53He's going to do the same for the Jets.
00:56So when Aaron Glenn says, Geno Smith is the guy to get us to the promised land, it's not about
01:02the playoffs.
01:03It's not getting you there.
01:04It's not getting you to the Super Bowl.
01:06But where Geno Smith is getting you, and what Aaron Glenn, I think, means by the promised land,
01:12is Geno Smith is going to lose a lot of games, and the Jets will be in the position to
01:18draft number one overall.
01:21And finally, or hopefully, for Jet fans' sake, because you can't say Jet fan without long and suffering in front
01:27of it.
01:29Hopefully, this promised land that Geno Smith is getting you to will get you the quarterback of your dreams,
01:36your future quarterback, and the guy that will get you to the actual promised land,
01:40which is the playoffs, and dare I say, the Super Bowl.
