00:00It has 35 people to start it, to start the car.
00:03It's an amazing sport with very expensive and the technical knowledge is unbelievable.
00:09On Apple specifically, working with Apple, was there anything different or special about working with a company who is not
00:14traditionally known for producing movies?
00:16Did they give you, I don't know, more financial creative freedom, whatever it was, or was it, I don't know,
00:20was there any quirks with working with Apple specifically as well?
00:22Well, the good news is that they're a tech company.
00:24They gave us the iPhone camera, an enhanced version of it.
00:28So we had one of their cameras on nine races in the actual cars, not our cars, the actual race
00:35cars.
00:36And some of the footage you see is going 220 miles an hour from, I don't know if it's Max
00:41driving or Lewis driving or one of their drivers is driving the car that we're filming.
00:45Plus, Brad and Damson did all their own driving.
00:48And that was part of their kind of pitch to you.
00:50Only they were able to bring that to the table, right, which is why the partnership works so well.
00:53Yeah, I think they wanted to make the movie when we made it.
00:55They want it for real.
00:56So Eddie Cue, who is one of the heads of Apple, is a big sports car enthusiast, and he's actually
01:02on the board of Ferrari.
01:04So it really helped that he was somebody who was really into the sport and loved F1 and wanted to
01:10make sure we did it right.
01:11Sure.
01:11And then, I mean, Tim Cook specifically, obviously, he's the CEO.
01:14He's been very vocal and supportive of the project.
01:16Did he specifically have any sort of actual involvement in the making or the development?
01:19Or was it very much a hands-off, you guys go and do this and make a group?
01:22No, Apple was involved in developing the movie, of course.
01:25You know, every script that went through, then we had script meetings.
01:27It's a brilliant company, and they did a phenomenal job working with us.
01:31Did Tim ever get in the car?
01:32Did you ever see that?
01:33First of all, you can't get in the car.
01:37Yes.
01:37The seat is molded to your body.
01:40I mean, an F2 driver almost takes him a month before he can get an F1 car.
01:45That's how difficult these things are to drive.
01:47It has 35 people to start it, to start the car.
01:51It's an amazing sport with very expensive, and the technical knowledge is unbelievable.
01:58Yeah.
