00:00Some people are interesting. Some people make people feel interesting. It's the difference
00:03between being interesting and interested. Somebody that comes in and has this very
00:07electric aura out there, lots of stories, all the rest of it. That's fine. And I like being
00:12around those people, but the skillset to be able to be that sort of a person, to have that kind
00:17of charisma, for want of a better word, I think is typically quite high. I'm a little bit lower
00:20energy. I'm a little bit more thoughtful. I'm a bit more shy. I'm a bit more whatever.
00:24Thoughtful isn't boring.
00:25Okay. But if you don't say much, let's say you just don't get the words out that quickly,
00:29or you don't think that quickly when it comes to like telling whatever, if somebody feels that,
00:33if somebody feels like they might be boring and they're worried that they are, I mean,
00:36one thing is to go and have some life experiences and become a little bit more confident with your
00:40communication, all the rest of it. And that's great. And you should do that too. But a much
00:42quicker route to making people feel comfortable around you and to connecting with people is to
00:47just get really good at asking questions. So if you ask the question, like, how did that make you
00:51feel or why, or what did you mean by that? As somebody is telling a story that is them away
00:56for
00:57ages. Now you, as a question asker now have to deal with whether or not that person's interesting
01:01to you.
