00:00When you look at Dan Hurley, we are talking about the absolute best coach in college basketball.
00:08Dan Hurley is absolutely unequivocally the guy. I don't want to hear about Tom Izzo. I told you
00:15he'd meet him. I don't want to hear about anyone else when you start taking a look at
00:20John Calipari or Bill Self or anyone else. Rick Pitino, I think, is number two on the list.
00:27Dan Hurley is absolutely the best coach when you look at college basketball. In his last
00:35four years, he's 17-1. 17-1 in the NCAA tournament. I mean, he deserves all sorts of love and
00:46all
00:47sorts of credit. I asked him if he thought this was the best win that he's ever had because,
00:52you know, he's won championships. He's obviously won two natties. But to win this game and his mom
01:00and his dad are all fired up. His dad is in the Hall of Fame, legendary high school coach,
01:05and his mom is cursing up a storm. And I asked him about it. He said, yeah, that's where I
01:09get my
01:10mouth from. I mean, it's just absolutely incredible. You can read the lips there for Mrs. Hurley. She
01:16can't believe what she just saw. They were the eighth team, according to the committee,
01:22going into the tournament. Duke was one and UConn was eight. He had inferior talent in this game.
01:28I mean, UConn just got smoked against St. John's a couple of weeks ago at Madison Square Garden.
01:34So to me, best win of his entire career. And that's why I will always and forever say
01:41that this was absolutely the best win that Hurley's had. Even better, more improbable,
01:48more impressive than what he did in the two years he won the national title.
