00:11This whole time I was in the ER for like four days they kept telling me that they didn't think
00:17it was ovarian cancer actually like they had it listed as an option but they were like no
00:23we absolutely do not think it's that like it wasn't until my four week follow-up after I had
00:29surgery that they told me they found stage one cancer. My whole point in really just sharing this
00:37was to bring more awareness towards like ovarian cancer specifically because talking to my doctor
00:45like he always thought that I'm too young to have ovarian cancer because it typically doesn't happen
00:52to women until later on in their 40s 50s once they're in menopause so I just felt like it was
00:58like a serious issue and just something that really needed to be talked about and it also
01:03helps me to kind of just deal with the situation more. The more I kept like looking at the video
01:09I was like I just need to post this like I think that it's such a meaningful like moment for
01:17me
01:18and me just shaving my head off like it kind of felt like I didn't want to do it but
01:25at the same time
01:26like I needed to do it and just doing it made me like feel stronger honestly that was probably the
01:33hardest part just getting rid of my hair now I feel like I'm just trying to fight it
01:40to do it.
