00:00Former Qadda footballer Nelson Sanmartin is struggling to make ends meet, saying he has
00:05been left unpaid since receiving only a fraction of his salary on January 10th.
00:10In a Facebook post, the Chilean described his situation as the hardest battle of his
00:15life, trying to survive and feed his family.
00:19Sanmartin said the arrears are linked to a contract signed in November 2025, and that
00:24Qadda Darul Aman FC also owes him several months' wages from a previous deal.
00:30He added that the financial strain has left his family unable to afford rent and basic
00:34necessities, while also facing urgent legal issues in Chile.
00:39Sanmartin appealed for a face-to-face meeting with club owner Dawud Bakar to resolve the matter respectfully.
00:45A midfielder, he played for Qadda from 2006 to 2008 and again in 2013, and was part of the
00:52team that achieved the double treble in 2007 and 2008.
00:57Now serving as technical director since 2024, Sanmartin expressed gratitude to supporters,
01:03saying Malaysia is his home and he hopes to continue contributing as a coach.
