00:33What happened today is something no community ever wants to face, but we prepare for something that we hope never
00:40occurs.
00:41And this was a frightening morning for many parents and families because of the number of phone calls that we
00:47got here at the sheriff's office.
00:48But I want the parents and the kinfolks of these children that were on this campus to know your kids,
00:55your children were protected, and they were safe.
00:59And we will continue to have a presence as needed while we work through the next steps.
01:04This remains an active investigation as we work to understand all the circumstances surrounding what happened.
01:10And we will share additional information as it is confirmed.
01:14And the student was the teacher, the student's teacher, what did she teach?
01:19I think that's part of our investigation right now as far as what was their, your question is, is that,
01:25you know, his teacher?
01:27And I think that's part of the ongoing investigation.
01:29So I don't know that we are releasing that at this present time.
