00:09That's according to Authorities Monday, who said the incident occurred in Victoria State after a seven-month manhunt.
00:17Australian police said 56-year-old Freeman is yet to be formally identified.
00:22Media widely reported he was fatally shot following a three-hour standoff at a property in rural Victoria.
00:29The State Police Chief Commissioner, Mike Bush, said the police shooting was justified.
