Argentina begins F-16 era with flights and training for combat pilots

The Argentine Air Force began flight operations with its F-16 fighter jets this Monday, March 30, 2026, from Área Material Río IV. According to Argentina’s Ministry of Defense, two takeoffs at 9:28 a.m. and 9:31 a.m. marked “the beginning of a new stage” for the weapons system in the country, as part of the Training Program for Argentine Pilots and with technical support from Top Aces.
