00:00John Percival, Devin Weston, and all the rest of you Illuminati sons of b****, suck on my fanny!
00:07Welcome to MojoPlays and today we are feeling rage from 1997 all the way through to 2013.
00:12And then 2015.
00:13And then 2018.
00:14How many times has GTA 5 been re-released?
00:16We are looking at the hardest mission in every GTA game.
00:20Obviously, hardest objective, so if I have a pick and you think,
00:23No, this mission was way harder.
00:25That's cool, man.
00:26Go start a YouTube channel.
00:27Let's do it.
00:28Before we continue, we publish content all week long,
00:31so be sure to subscribe and ring the bell to get notified of our latest videos.
00:36Getting your first save, Grand Theft Auto.
00:46The original GTA games didn't function the same as the later entries,
00:49which is why it was so hard to pick a hardest mission.
00:52In fact, our pick isn't even technically a mission, it's simply completing the first level.
00:57Grand Theft Auto is divided into six levels across three main cities.
01:01Finishing one level unlocks the next.
01:03The hardest part of this formula is that there are no saves until you complete the first level.
01:08So you have to get through the whole thing in one go just to earn your first save.
01:12It's wild.
01:13And most players had no clue what they were actually working towards during their first playthrough.
01:23Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft Auto 2.
01:34Part of the Zaibatsu Green Phone missions, Grand Theft Auto is undeniably the hardest mission in the game.
01:40It's incredibly long, so if you fail, you'll have to replay a huge chunk just to get back to where
01:45you were.
01:46You have to steal a number of cars, and the third car is especially brutal.
01:50The other cars weren't exactly easy either, but I won't get into those.
01:53To reach it, you have to pull off a series of tricky jumps, and missing even one means instant death.
01:58All the while, you're under constant fire.
02:00And even if you manage to reach the car, you still have to make a final jump back to the
02:04road.
02:05Mess that up and land on another car, and it's goodnight moon.
02:27The thing that doesn't get talked about nearly enough in GTA 3 is just how dog sh** the map was.
02:34Navigation is unintuitive, but it's also one of the greatest games of all time, so I'll shut up.
02:38Let me just say one more small detail about the map, though.
02:41It's exactly what makes Espresso to Go so difficult.
02:45Goddammit, I'm gonna keep railing on the map.
02:47Asuka tasks clawed with destroying coffee stands scattered across Liberty City.
02:51Simple enough?
02:52No.
02:53The problem is, these nine stands aren't clearly marked, making them hard to locate.
02:57To make matters worse, you're in a strict time limit, which makes completing the mission feel nearly impossible.
03:03Screw Esuka.
03:10Demolition Man, Grand Theft Auto Vice City
03:32Demolition Man sounds fun, but it is anything but enjoyable.
03:35The objective is to plant four bombs within a construction site, within just seven minutes.
03:39The twist, you have to pilot a remote-controlled helicopter inside the building, all while being harassed by hostile construction
03:46workers armed with rifles.
03:48Anyone who's played GTA San Andreas will know any mission where you have to pilot an RC aircraft is gonna
03:54be a pain in the anus.
03:55The RC Goblin is notoriously difficult to handle, especially in tight indoor spaces.
03:59It's like trying to peel a banana with your feet while 13 guys are shooting at you.
04:13Wrong Side of the Tracks, Grand Theft Auto, San Andreas.
04:18Hey, Carl.
04:19Keeping busy, I hope.
04:20You know me, Officer Tenpenny.
04:23Yeah, I know you, Carl.
04:25I know everything about you.
04:26Don't touch me, you pig-ass.
04:28I know, I know. Supply Lines is probably technically harder than Wrong Side of the Tracks, but this mission might
04:34deserve the top spot simply because it's unavoidable.
04:37You cannot beat the game without beating it, unlike Supply Lines.
04:40Everyone who's played GTA San Andreas remembers this infamous bike chase alongside a moving train, with Big Smoke riding shotgun.
04:48Staying with the train is already hard enough, as it's easy to wipe out on a motorbike.
04:52But what really ramps up the difficulty factor is the fact that Big Smoke is the one shooting, and for
04:58a high-ranking gang member, his aim is borderline broken.
05:01He's supposed to take out gang members on the train, but he has to unload multiple clips into each enemy,
05:06because he's shooting with rubber bullets, maybe.
05:08Who knows?
05:09If you fail, you'll hear one of the most infamous lines in the game.
05:15All we had to do was follow the damn train, CJ.
05:18Love on the Rocks, Grand Theft Auto, Liberty City Stories.
05:22Tony, you've got to help me.
05:24O'Donovan's got evidence linking me to Salvatore.
05:26We're sunk.
05:27Calm down.
05:28Evidence goes missing every day.
05:31Not to mention judges, witnesses, jurors.
05:34I hoped you'd see it that way.
05:36One of my men has been following the guy with the evidence.
05:38He'll meet you under the overpass in Newport.
05:41I'm going to be fully honest with you guys.
05:42I've never played Liberty City Stories, so I had to refer to the internet and YouTube for guidance on this
05:47one.
05:47And it was easy, because I've never seen such an overwhelming response for what the hardest mission in a game
05:53was.
05:53The first chunk of the mission is just travel, but when you have to steal the van, things get insane.
05:59You'll need to take out several enemies, including a group of bouncers, which demands sharp aim and quick reflexes.
06:05And also, there's a strict time limit, which means taking your time to eliminate enemies is basically impossible.
06:10Once you acquire the van, don't think things are going to be chilled, because it only gets worse.
06:15Hopefully the media will pay more attention to the people I kill online, rather than the people I really killed
06:20as a member of the army.
06:22Hey, I say that to every girlfriend I kill.
06:24Respawn!
06:25The Exchange, Grand Theft Auto, Vice City Stories.
06:28Tastes fine.
06:29I can't tell.
06:30Ah, Vic!
06:31Thank you, Lord!
06:33Alas, someone who isn't the missing link!
06:35Hey, DS.
06:36Let me try.
06:36This mission from Vice City Stories centers around a drug deal that quickly goes south.
06:41Snipers show up to surprise the player, and you have to eliminate them all before the DEA arrives.
06:47You know what that means?
06:48Time limit.
06:49Spotting and taking them out isn't easy thanks to the game's clunky controls and the sniper's well-hidden positions.
06:53And just when you think it's over, you'll need to race back to Ricardo Diaz's mansion while under constant attack.
06:59Admittedly, it was harder on the PSP, but it was originally on the PSP, so it still counts.
07:10Catch the Wave, Grand Theft Auto 4.
07:12Hey, Joe Joe, what?
07:14Hey, pal.
07:15What's going on?
07:16Not too much.
07:17How are you?
07:18I'm good.
07:19Wanna walk and talk?
07:21Sure.
07:23Tom.
07:23Give me a call from my big buddy.
07:25This might split the viewers up, because there are a good chunk of truly hard missions in this game.
07:30But for this list, Phil Bell takes the spot.
07:33If he gave you trouble during If the Price is Right, he's even more of a liability in Catch the
07:38Wave.
07:38The mission starts with you and Phil trying to steal cocaine from a Russian gang.
07:43Classic GTA.
07:44But, color me shocked, everything goes awry.
07:47You're forced to shoot your way out with f***ing Phil, who's about as useful as tits on a bull.
07:52Armed with a weak gun and terrible aim, he's more of a burden than a backup, and he has the
07:57knack for getting himself killed.
08:12The actual start of this mission isn't so bad.
08:14Steal a truck with the head of a dragon costume and then get it to the parade.
08:17It's the actual participation in the parade that makes you want to rip the head off the dragon and then
08:22rip your own off.
08:23Staying on top of the checkpoints and tricks while keeping the suspicion bar low feels like a game mechanic that
08:29was designed broken.
08:30Many players have mastered this section, but almost all first-timers will need to walk away from the game for
08:35a few hours after repeated attempts and fails.
08:44The big score, obvious approach, Grand Theft Auto V.
08:47Ready for action, huh?
08:50Let's go!
08:51Alright, I'm gonna meet my guy at the bank.
08:53Gold ain't ours yet, but we are this close!
08:56Get the crew, let's go, let's go!
08:59GTA V is as good as it gets.
09:01The hardest mission is also its best.
09:03So the whole time you're thinking,
09:05God damn it, this sucks.
09:06I love it so much.
09:08As the grand finale of the game's highest missions,
09:11it pulls out all the stops,
09:12throwing you into an all-out firefight against waves of heavily armed police and security forces on maximum alert.
09:19Choosing the obvious approach only cranks up the difficulty,
09:23forcing you through winding roads that are tough to navigate and often lead to brutal dead-end shootouts
09:27that are nilly impossible to survive.
09:30God, I love this game.
09:31...weather, God Percival, Devin Weston,
09:34all the rest of you Illuminati sons of b****s!
09:37Suck on my fanny!
