03:27devastating attacks that can decimate your foes and make you feel like an unstoppable warrior it's
03:33not just hand-to-hand combat either not only can you take your numerous mounts into combat but
03:38eventually you'll also unlock mechanical menaces such as a devastating tank filled with explosive capabilities
03:54exploration progression within crimson desert rather than leveling up through completing quests like
04:00other open world games progression is tied directly to how much of the world the player explores and
04:06interacts with by uncovering hidden areas dungeons or secrets completing challenges or gathering resources
04:13the player's abilities and capabilities will be upgraded by liberating or discovering abyss artifacts
04:19and fragments players will unlock new abilities in the skill tree and uncovering these many hidden
04:24relics ties directly into surviving the game's higher level areas basically the more you explore the world
04:30not only will you unlock more rewards but you'll also grow more powerful unlocking more abilities that will
04:36allow you to explore even further this style of progression creates a refreshingly addictive loop that
04:42encourages the player to explore the world rather than simply focusing on completing quests and rewards
04:47them for their curiosity traversal

04:57just as versatile as the combat possibilities are the various ways players can get around in the world
05:03pywo besides the usual on foot or horseback players will eventually also unlock a glide ability as well

06:22temples dungeons and unforeseen dangers the world of crimson desert is the way we always imagined a
06:28medieval fantasy world would feel to explore this level of detail carries over into combat and puzzle
06:33solving as well players can use the environment to take out enemies by throwing them into nearby items or
06:39destroying their structures to take out larger groups the world is remarkably reactive to cliff and gives
06:45players enough tools to experiment with the world around them to solve puzzles and deal with anything in
06:50their way which is incredibly refreshing and surprisingly open-ended for a game of this scale mercy mercy please

07:32in combat while obviously nowhere near elden ring numbers for an open world of this size that's still
07:38damn impressive it's not only the sheer number that's impressive but also the variety not only have we seen
07:44everything from basic human enemies but also massive clashes with multiple bosses and even a freaking aerial
07:51battle with a massive dragon on the back of another freaking dragon each boss encounter has its own specific
07:57attack patterns arenas and strategies that players will need to overcome in order to emerge victorious
08:12playable characters cliff isn't the only playable character in crimson desert after progressing through
08:18the world players will unlock the ability to take control of two of his companions onga or damien
08:23while cliff himself is a jack of all trades capable of multiple fighting styles both of his gray main
08:29companions offer differing play styles that also offer unique combat opportunities for players
08:35while unga is more of a tank or brute character utilizing heavier weapons and devastating attacks
08:41damien is far more agile damien is ideal for players who prefer a faster hit and run style of combat
08:48she has significantly less defense than cliff or unka but makes up for it with her speed and variety of
08:53long-range combat options once unlocked players will be able to freely switch between the characters
08:59making the most out of each character's skill set depending on the situation at hand
09:03sheer gameplay variety crimson desert is a kitchen sink of a game and we mean that as a compliment in
09:11the best
09:11possible way from liberating strongholds to assist the game's 100 factions or uncovering the mysteries of the
09:17game's many dungeons full of treasures and hidden unlockables players will find that no matter where
09:22they find themselves in the world there will always be a new quest npc bounty missions or cats and dogs

10:28can travel to basically anything you see the entire world of pywell is open to players from the start
10:34allowing you to travel seamlessly from one of the five main regions to another with no interruptions although
10:41there aren't any level barriers preventing you from immediately traveling from one end of the map to
10:46the other whether you'll survive some of the areas full of higher level enemies depends on your skill
10:51and confidence level the world of pywell is your playground and given the sheer scale of the world
10:56it's one you'll likely be exploring for many many many hours place holds the records of the world's
11:04providence each record signifies a world thus the library of providence is the center of all worlds
