00:11Kota Kinabalu Acting OCPD Superintendent Syed Lot Syed Abrahman said the incident occurred
00:19at about 10.30am and quickly escalated, with individuals seen throwing chairs at each other.
00:25The fracas also caused damage to several kiosks belonging to other businesses in the area.
00:31A kiosk operator, whose premises were affected, has since lodged a police report.
00:36However, Syed Lot said police have yet to receive any reports from those directly involved in the fight.
00:43A 45-second video of the incident has gone viral on Facebook,
00:47showing the chaotic scene as the group clashed in public.
00:51Police have opened an investigation under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting
00:58and are actively working to identify and track down those involved.
