A brawl broke out between employees of two rival tour companies at Jesselton Point in Kota Kinabalu on Sunday (March 29) morning, allegedly over a dispute involving customers.

Kota Kinabalu acting OCPD Superintendent Syed Lot Syed Ab Rahman said the incident occurred at about 10.30am and quickly escalated, with individuals seen throwing chairs at each other.

00:31A kiosk operator, whose premises were affected, has since lodged a police report.
00:36However, Syed Lot said police have yet to receive any reports from those directly involved in the fight.
00:43A 45-second video of the incident has gone viral on Facebook,
00:47showing the chaotic scene as the group clashed in public.
00:51Police have opened an investigation under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting
00:58and are actively working to identify and track down those involved.
