00:02:21¿Estás listo?
00:02:23¿Estás listo?
00:02:23No, no.
00:02:25I thought it was just...
00:02:26From what I can tell,
00:02:29here, I got IMDb here.
00:02:30There's 12 episodes right now.
00:02:32So I go look at the episode list.
00:02:35Let's see here.
00:02:38Episode 4, 5, and 6,
00:02:40all of the 21st.
00:02:42And then you go into Season 2.
00:02:44And there's no dates.
00:02:46But it does say
00:02:4826, though.
00:02:50For the first three episodes.
00:02:52So, again,
00:02:53weird way to roll it out.
00:02:56Very weird.
00:02:57And because of that,
00:02:58we decided, you know what?
00:02:59Are we going to cover this?
00:03:00You know what?
00:03:00Let's just do it.
00:03:01So this is a different approach.
00:03:02It's not going to be a long form.
00:03:04You'll see it in the title.
00:03:05It's not going to say breakdown.
00:03:06This is just a review
00:03:07from Episode 1 and 3.
00:03:08We watched all three episodes.
00:03:10And to give our thoughts.
00:03:11The pros, the cons.
00:03:13Should you just go and watch it now
00:03:15and bing your three episodes?
00:03:17You know?
00:03:17So I have my issues.
00:03:18So how do you want to start?
00:03:20Do you want to start?
00:03:21Do you want me to start about?
00:03:22Well, it was my idea to cover this.
00:03:25Because I said to you,
00:03:26I said to you,
00:03:26hey, you know what?
00:03:27Do you want to just talk about this
00:03:28for like a half hour?
00:03:29Just give a little bit.
00:03:31Because I actually messaged you
00:03:33and I was on my way to the gym.
00:03:34And this was yesterday.
00:03:36And I was like,
00:03:37man, I just watched the Madison.
00:03:39And there's going to be spoilers.
00:03:40So, again,
00:03:41if you don't want to be spoiled,
00:03:42here's what I'm going to tell you right now.
00:03:44Now, in my opinion,
00:03:46all right,
00:03:47before,
00:03:47if you say you're going to watch it,
00:03:49if you watch the first episode
00:03:51and want to quit,
00:03:52I'm going to say don't.
00:03:53At least watch the first three episodes
00:03:55because you are going to be shocked
00:03:57within the first 20 minutes of this
00:03:59that may actually make you mad.
00:04:02But I think you have to watch it out.
00:04:04So I watch it,
00:04:05all three episodes.
00:04:06And I think that was smart on their part.
00:04:08So anyway,
00:04:10I watched it.
00:04:11I messaged you.
00:04:12I had about 12 minutes to go.
00:04:15And I'm like,
00:04:16I had to go,
00:04:16I had to get to the gym and get it done.
00:04:18And this was yesterday.
00:04:20And I said,
00:04:20hey,
00:04:21did you see the Madison dropped?
00:04:23And I said,
00:04:24I made it like,
00:04:26I have like 15 minutes to go or whatever.
00:04:28It might be the saddest show
00:04:29I've ever watched from the beginning.
00:04:33And we've all seen the reviews
00:04:35or we've all seen the previews.
00:04:37Here comes spoiler alert.
00:04:38I'm telling you right now,
00:04:40shut it off.
00:04:41If you don't want to know.
00:04:43But
00:04:46Kurt Russell
00:04:48and his brother,
00:04:51Matthew Fox,
00:04:52another big actor from Lost.
00:04:54And he was a doctor.
00:04:57I remember that's his brother.
00:04:58So Preston Claiborne,
00:05:00that's Kurt Russell.
00:05:01We've seen him running around the plane and everything.
00:05:03Well,
00:05:04they go fishing.
00:05:05They die within the first 20 minutes.
00:05:07Now I'm sitting here like,
00:05:08wait a minute.
00:05:08How does this continue on?
00:05:11And I think to do a show
00:05:13that you already gave it,
00:05:14you greenlit for two seasons,
00:05:16it's going to be hard when the main character,
00:05:18one of the two main characters
00:05:19is killed off within the first 20 minutes.
00:05:21So now I'm just thinking we're going to have flashbacks.
00:05:23I don't want to do a flashback,
00:05:26but I think they've done it in a wonderful,
00:05:28wonderful way watching the first three episodes.
00:05:33What do you think so far?
00:05:34And again,
00:05:35we're going to get into,
00:05:36I'm going to get into the reason why I think,
00:05:38but what do you think so far after seeing that?
00:05:42So if we're breaking from episode,
00:05:44if we're going to break up,
00:05:46yeah,
00:05:46you know what we could do that?
00:05:47We could just go from episode to episode.
00:05:48So right now,
00:05:49that's your thought of episode one,
00:05:51right?
00:05:51Well,
00:05:51I have,
00:05:51I have no notes.
00:05:53So I'm going all on,
00:05:54all right.
00:05:54I'm going all in memory of how it gets from point A to point.
00:05:58So if I go based off of the first,
00:06:00as someone,
00:06:01and I'll just a little backstory,
00:06:02I mean,
00:06:02right from New York,
00:06:03born and raised alphabet city,
00:06:05Lower East side,
00:06:06Manhattan city proper,
00:06:08not all from the city and upstate Binghamton.
00:06:10No,
00:06:11no,
00:06:11no,
00:06:11no from the city.
00:06:12This comes up because the opening scene here,
00:06:15we have page.
00:06:17That's the daughter,
00:06:18right?
00:06:18The main daughter of the family here.
00:06:20And she gets mugged right there on fifth Avenue.
00:06:24She says fifth Avenue,
00:06:25right?
00:06:26She tells everybody,
00:06:27right?
00:06:29You see a guy just filming with his camera.
00:06:32I call BS on this right off the bat for a few reasons for that street.
00:06:36They could have said all kinds of streets,
00:06:37but fifth Avenue,
00:06:38if you're from the city,
00:06:39then you know,
00:06:40this cops like almost every corner in their car waiting because it's such a
00:06:44busy street.
00:06:45There's so many businesses,
00:06:46jewelry stores,
00:06:47other high end stores there.
00:06:48They want to have a presence just so these type of things don't happen.
00:06:52So for this to take place,
00:06:53I was like,
00:06:54all right,
00:06:54fine.
00:06:55I'll look past it.
00:06:56What upset me even more is that after they go and they give a little
00:06:59speech,
00:07:00the mom says,
00:07:00well,
00:07:01why were you walking?
00:07:02You should be in a car.
00:07:04You can't.
00:07:05If anybody knows that shopping,
00:07:07it's not like a mall where you go and you park in a parking garage and then
00:07:10you go in and you're in the mall.
00:07:12No,
00:07:12you have to go on foot.
00:07:14So I don't understand.
00:07:14You can't even park outside.
00:07:16They got the no parking.
00:07:17They have buses.
00:07:18Come on out.
00:07:19That's BS.
00:07:20And it's BS for people that supposedly are from the city.
00:07:23That's what they keep harping on,
00:07:24right?
00:07:24What's that term they use?
00:07:25They're,
00:07:26they're mice.
00:07:27They're mice of the city.
00:07:28That's what they come up with.
00:07:29No,
00:07:29urbanites.
00:07:30We would call ourselves that,
00:07:31but we don't say mice.
00:07:32It's so dumb.
00:07:33Anyway,
00:07:34that was the one part that pissed me off of all this,
00:07:36just to harp on what they're saying with the whole New York.
00:07:39Another part in the same episode though,
00:07:42when she does call up Kurt Russell or no,
00:07:44Kurt Russell calls her,
00:07:45her husband,
00:07:46right?
00:07:46Preston says he's staying over with his brother to go fishing on another
00:07:50fishing trip on the other side of Montana somewhere,
00:07:54right?
00:07:54Some private area.
00:07:55It's going to be great fishing.
00:07:56She says,
00:07:56Oh yeah,
00:07:57by the way,
00:07:57she was mugged.
00:07:58Where was she mugged?
00:07:59She changes the location.
00:08:01She says,
00:08:02Oh,
00:08:02in the village,
00:08:03the village is downtown.
00:08:05Doesn't connect the fifth Avenue.
00:08:06That's two different areas.
00:08:08Don't,
00:08:08don't go there.
00:08:09And I felt,
00:08:10I felt like the reason why they said that is because,
00:08:12Oh,
00:08:13well,
00:08:13if I see the village and I sit down there,
00:08:14it's a mixed bag of people.
00:08:16You got NYU,
00:08:17you got other stuff,
00:08:18you got other communities.
00:08:19You don't need to go there.
00:08:20People know they know.
00:08:21And I think that's what they were saying,
00:08:23implying when they wrote this.
00:08:24I was like,
00:08:24well,
00:08:25you know how,
00:08:25you know,
00:08:26the type of people there,
00:08:27you know?
00:08:28And he even said,
00:08:29like,
00:08:29Oh,
00:08:29why was she walking?
00:08:31Come on.
00:08:32It's like a car.
00:08:32Oh,
00:08:33please.
00:08:34If you're from the city,
00:08:35you don't drive.
00:08:37You know,
00:08:37I have family relatives that still don't have a license,
00:08:40you know,
00:08:41and they're in their forties.
00:08:42There's no need for it.
00:08:44Well,
00:08:44I'm going to play devil's advocate here.
00:08:46And someone who lives outside of Detroit,
00:08:50understand not everyone's been to New York.
00:08:53Not everyone wants to go to New York.
00:08:54They just know what they've heard.
00:08:56And you want to hit key points.
00:08:59That someone's going to be like,
00:09:00Oh,
00:09:00I've heard of the village.
00:09:01I've heard of fifth Avenue,
00:09:03but it makes it seem like it's,
00:09:04it's,
00:09:05it's bad.
00:09:07So first off,
00:09:08I just,
00:09:09I've had people ask me outside of Michigan.
00:09:12What is eight mile?
00:09:15It's probably the most famous street ever.
00:09:17Now is I just know it from Eminem,
00:09:19the movie.
00:09:20That's what I'm talking about.
00:09:21People ask me what eight mile is.
00:09:24Everyone in Detroit knows eight mile is the road that divides the suburbs from Detroit.
00:09:29But in the movie,
00:09:31he makes it seem like it's a bad area.
00:09:33Like once you cross over,
00:09:34it's bad.
00:09:35That's,
00:09:35that's it.
00:09:36That's what I'm saying.
00:09:37When did you ever hear fifth Avenue as being bad or the village as being bad?
00:09:42They're implying that it's bad.
00:09:44We,
00:09:44that's not the case.
00:09:45And that's what I'm saying.
00:09:47That's wrong.
00:09:48Now you almost,
00:09:48you also mentioned about no police officers.
00:09:52She's,
00:09:52she,
00:09:52she sees a police officer right away and goes over and talks to him.
00:09:57No,
00:09:57he does when it comes by.
00:09:58Yep.
00:09:59And,
00:09:59and they ask questions and she doesn't want to answer because she doesn't want to stereotype anyone into the race.
00:10:08You tell them what you see.
00:10:09It's not a stereotype.
00:10:10It's what it is.
00:10:11It's a description.
00:10:12Remember,
00:10:13but she's also saying he was in his thirties,
00:10:14but couldn't tell you what color.
00:10:16And she even says,
00:10:17I don't,
00:10:17I don't want to tell you.
00:10:19That was so dumb.
00:10:20That's,
00:10:20that was whatever.
00:10:21That's what they did that.
00:10:23I would not have done that.
00:10:24You say what it is.
00:10:25Whoever.
00:10:25But basically they're setting up that these are these little prissy little girls.
00:10:32That's how they've been raised.
00:10:33No,
00:10:34I get that.
00:10:34Okay.
00:10:35They have been raised like this and they've allowed it.
00:10:38And that is what we see in episodes two and three,
00:10:41in my opinion,
00:10:42man,
00:10:43that was so those girls,
00:10:44the daughter.
00:10:45And then just that whole,
00:10:47you know,
00:10:47it is also that,
00:10:49that tear,
00:10:50that,
00:10:51that prissiness,
00:10:51that high society.
00:10:53I can't,
00:10:53I can't stand it.
00:10:54And in any context,
00:10:55I can't see it when I see it for Royals,
00:10:57when shows do about the rule.
00:10:58Oh,
00:10:58hello.
00:10:59You know,
00:10:59and I can't see it when we've seen it in like secession and a few other shows.
00:11:03I think that,
00:11:04but I think that drives me nuts.
00:11:06That's the whole point.
00:11:07Right.
00:11:08And we don't know how they earn their money.
00:11:10Right.
00:11:11We,
00:11:11we don't know how he made their money.
00:11:13No,
00:11:14um,
00:11:14he's clearly from,
00:11:16he doesn't come from money.
00:11:18He doesn't come from money.
00:11:19We learned from an episode three that they didn't come from money.
00:11:22Cause there was a scene where,
00:11:24um,
00:11:24the wife was,
00:11:25it's Stacy.
00:11:25I think there's maybe I'm like,
00:11:27right.
00:11:28It is.
00:11:28Okay.
00:11:29Where she's,
00:11:30uh,
00:11:30remembering,
00:11:30uh,
00:11:31remembering a time when she was talking to,
00:11:33to press him on the phone.
00:11:35And she's like,
00:11:35Oh,
00:11:35remember when we lived in that small apartment and we ate ramen.
00:11:38Yeah.
00:11:39And she's talking about ramen somehow when I went shopping this morning.
00:11:44Exactly.
00:11:45Do you buy the box?
00:11:46We buy the box.
00:11:47We,
00:11:47we just,
00:11:48we buy the box or I buy the box.
00:11:50And also I buy individuals,
00:11:52whichever one.
00:11:53Yeah.
00:11:53I love the box.
00:11:54All right.
00:11:54But the point is,
00:11:56is that they bring this up,
00:11:57right?
00:11:58She brings up.
00:11:58So it's like,
00:11:59okay,
00:11:59so you,
00:11:59you worked your way up where,
00:12:01from where I don't know.
00:12:03Right.
00:12:04Exactly.
00:12:04But if that's the case,
00:12:05then these things carry over the,
00:12:08a lot of the things of what makes you who you are and the type of person you
00:12:12are carry over to your children.
00:12:13They always say,
00:12:14wait,
00:12:14the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
00:12:16That type of thing.
00:12:17I don't see how this could all be turned off once they started making money,
00:12:21because as you see these kids,
00:12:23she even calls them like prissy little bitches or something like that.
00:12:25You know,
00:12:25and was it episode two when they,
00:12:28they,
00:12:28they,
00:12:28one of the daughters of the,
00:12:30the granddaughter mouthed off at the guy who came over the cowboy to bring
00:12:33over some food.
00:12:34Well,
00:12:36let's get there because leading up to this,
00:12:39there,
00:12:39there's a lot to it.
00:12:40Like where are you getting?
00:12:42I'm all over the place.
00:12:43We didn't run notes.
00:12:44That's what I'm saying.
00:12:45I hope.
00:12:46but I guess,
00:12:47but think about it.
00:12:48So they end up dying because they're fishing.
00:12:52He extends it.
00:12:54And then he makes mention earlier about,
00:12:57Hey,
00:12:57you know what?
00:12:59Are you sure we don't need to leave?
00:13:00And he was like,
00:13:00no,
00:13:01there's not supposed to be anything.
00:13:02Then,
00:13:02then his brother tells him,
00:13:03Hey,
00:13:03we need to go.
00:13:05So they're in this plane and it's all rough.
00:13:07The Sesta.
00:13:08And then it crashes.
00:13:11You're really shocked that they died.
00:13:12You're really shocked that they died.
00:13:13I'm totally blown away.
00:13:14Like they didn't.
00:13:17I mean,
00:13:19there,
00:13:19there,
00:13:20there's so many,
00:13:20I don't even want to call them flashbacks because what they are,
00:13:24are excerpts in his journal.
00:13:26And when she was talking to him,
00:13:29she knows why he was writing this because they were having conversations about this.
00:13:34So I guess they are flashbacks,
00:13:35but it's she remembers the conversations as he was writing the stuff in these journals.
00:13:40They are very important as,
00:13:42as,
00:13:42as we move on.
00:13:43Yeah.
00:13:43And I think the daughter mentioned that they were married 40 years,
00:13:4740 years.
00:13:47And never fought now.
00:13:49Never fought.
00:13:50And never went on this trip to visit the brother.
00:13:53Now,
00:13:53now that is,
00:13:54that is something where I have some of an issue,
00:13:56but she does constantly talk about how,
00:13:58like once he gets indoor plumbing,
00:14:00I'll come and considering there's a hornet's nest in the shitter or in the French there.
00:14:05Yeah.
00:14:06I don't know why that wasn't addressed.
00:14:07Like that's one of my,
00:14:09that's another gripe.
00:14:09Like when he thinks you get an RV,
00:14:12you know what I mean?
00:14:12Rent an RV or,
00:14:14cause it was the closest hotel was in Bozeman and that was two hours out.
00:14:18So I get that,
00:14:19but get an RV then.
00:14:20But he said that was the closest motel,
00:14:23but who knows that they,
00:14:24if they were looking for just like ones off the side of the road,
00:14:27because they are close to a town,
00:14:29you know,
00:14:30they're not that far from a town.
00:14:32Yeah.
00:14:32But it doesn't seem to have a lot of resources when it comes to like medical and all that stuff.
00:14:36Cause it's,
00:14:37well,
00:14:37yeah,
00:14:37yeah.
00:14:37There's no hospital and everything like that,
00:14:39but this is how,
00:14:40I mean,
00:14:40this is how I assume that it is in these smaller places.
00:14:44So anyway,
00:14:46what you have is she gets to call while they're out.
00:14:50Well,
00:14:51while they're out to while they're out to eat,
00:14:54she's with her best friend.
00:14:56She picks up the phone.
00:14:58Doesn't know asking,
00:15:00Hey,
00:15:00do we know anyone out here?
00:15:02And then they say,
00:15:03you need to come,
00:15:04you know,
00:15:04we need to identify the body and she loses it like anyone would,
00:15:09right?
00:15:09Anyone.
00:15:10I'm not faulting.
00:15:11The friend picks it up.
00:15:13You know,
00:15:13she doesn't want to be touched.
00:15:14I want to say,
00:15:15this is one of the most realistic things because you never know how you're going to handle.
00:15:19Some people want to be hugged.
00:15:20Other people,
00:15:21they don't want to be touched.
00:15:23I mean,
00:15:23it's a shock.
00:15:24I've seen,
00:15:25I had a friend of mine collapse.
00:15:27I remember they were sitting at their desk and they received a call.
00:15:30And then all of a sudden I look and he just fell on the floor.
00:15:33Yeah.
00:15:33And I was like,
00:15:34what the hell?
00:15:34I went running over,
00:15:35picked up the phone.
00:15:36Horrible.
00:15:37Yeah.
00:15:37Everyone,
00:15:37everyone handles things differently.
00:15:39And one thing that you touched on is when they said,
00:15:40Hey,
00:15:41they went 40 years.
00:15:42They never fought.
00:15:43Now.
00:15:44I lost my mom when I was 13 years old.
00:15:46I never saw my parents fight.
00:15:47I'm not saying they never did.
00:15:49I never saw them fight my entire life.
00:15:51And I've had,
00:15:52and I've had their friends tell me like,
00:15:55we never saw them fight.
00:15:56A matter of fact,
00:15:58I had my,
00:15:59my aunt say the one time that I can remember your mom getting mad at your
00:16:04dad.
00:16:04He,
00:16:05she locked herself in her bedroom.
00:16:07This one,
00:16:08they were still in high school and your dad just sat there and waited for
00:16:11her to calm down and come out.
00:16:14So to me,
00:16:15that's something that can be realistic.
00:16:17I can't believe that someone can go 40 years without fighting,
00:16:20but you know,
00:16:22I'm also been single.
00:16:23It seems like 40 years now.
00:16:25But then when it comes to the,
00:16:27the two daughters,
00:16:28they're both married,
00:16:29right?
00:16:29Abigail is married to some guy named Dallas.
00:16:32Abigail is divorced.
00:16:33Well,
00:16:33she's divorced now,
00:16:34but she had married this guy and has two kids.
00:16:37You know,
00:16:37those are the two kids that are there.
00:16:38And then page is with her husband,
00:16:40Russell.
00:16:41Yeah.
00:16:41He's all,
00:16:42you know,
00:16:42part of the conversation here.
00:16:43We don't see Dallas in this,
00:16:46but find out some interesting stuff.
00:16:48Well,
00:16:48I really did enjoy what she said to Dallas when he's like,
00:16:53you took the kids to Montana and she lost it because it's like,
00:16:58well,
00:16:58I didn't know where you were.
00:17:00You find,
00:17:01you know,
00:17:01you come here and pick them up if that's what you want.
00:17:03My dad is important.
00:17:05Like,
00:17:05and she's absolutely right.
00:17:07And we learned a lot about Dallas and what he asked,
00:17:10asked for in the divorce,
00:17:12which is very,
00:17:14very ballsy.
00:17:15I'm just going to say that.
00:17:16Yeah.
00:17:17What was it?
00:17:17Uh,
00:17:17he gets support.
00:17:20He asked for the,
00:17:21for the condo.
00:17:23Yeah.
00:17:23Now the parents are paying for everything.
00:17:26And we find out at the end of episode three,
00:17:29like,
00:17:29she's like,
00:17:29we're done.
00:17:30Like you guys are done.
00:17:32You find it on your own.
00:17:33If that's what the mom,
00:17:34the mom is cutting everybody off because I was shutting everybody off.
00:17:36Because the other thing is,
00:17:38um,
00:17:39Paul,
00:17:39the brother has no one,
00:17:42no next of kin.
00:17:43And so everything would have went directly to Preston.
00:17:46So Preston was passed away.
00:17:48Everything goes to Stacy.
00:17:49That means that ranch.
00:17:51No,
00:17:52we don't,
00:17:52we also don't know what they own to be this rich.
00:17:55Yeah.
00:17:56Unless if I missed that.
00:17:57No,
00:17:58they haven't said anything.
00:17:59Uh,
00:17:59we sort of heard it early in the,
00:18:02in the episode where,
00:18:03um,
00:18:04Paul sort of implied that he was part of the city life also,
00:18:08because he's like,
00:18:09yeah,
00:18:09I had to give all that up.
00:18:10And ever since I've been out here,
00:18:11I never wanted to go back.
00:18:13And then that's when Preston was like,
00:18:14yeah,
00:18:15I wish I,
00:18:15but we don't know what type of business they were in.
00:18:18But he's been,
00:18:19and,
00:18:19but he talks about like,
00:18:20he goes,
00:18:20I don't care about the money because Kurt,
00:18:24and that's Kurt.
00:18:25Preston gives that one story about when I think they were in the Hamptons or
00:18:28somewhere.
00:18:29And he's like,
00:18:29you know,
00:18:29I don't care.
00:18:30He's like,
00:18:30let me tell the story.
00:18:32Yeah.
00:18:32Yeah.
00:18:33And he tells the story.
00:18:34Like these people have nothing.
00:18:35They have everything,
00:18:37but they're miserable.
00:18:38Like they spent their,
00:18:39their life trying to get the money to get there.
00:18:42And they're old now.
00:18:42And they can't really enjoy it.
00:18:44And this is what he's experienced.
00:18:46Now through episode one,
00:18:47we don't realize everything he has done.
00:18:50This is where the shocker thing for me was like the things that he has
00:18:55actually done.
00:18:57at this place.
00:18:59And it's,
00:18:59it's kind of like the sixth sense.
00:19:01You're like,
00:19:01Oh my God,
00:19:01it's all right there.
00:19:03And you don't even realize it.
00:19:06One thing I did like about all this is the cinematography.
00:19:08I love the,
00:19:09the wide angle shots that the drone shots,
00:19:12you see the beautiful landscape,
00:19:14very Taylor Sheridan that this is way that an orchestral soundtrack,
00:19:17you know,
00:19:18that's where he contributes,
00:19:20of course,
00:19:21with the writing and all that,
00:19:22but it's just these long drawn out,
00:19:24thrown out scenes of them fishing and just living it.
00:19:27It could be on the travel channel this show.
00:19:29And they do a really good job of when they all get there,
00:19:33other than Stacy,
00:19:34who understands like I'm going there to identify bodies and pick up my,
00:19:39you know,
00:19:39my husband and his brother and bury them.
00:19:42They don't want to be there.
00:19:43They're already complaining.
00:19:45Russell is probably the one that complains the least.
00:19:48He's more or less just long for the ride.
00:19:50Now,
00:19:51if you don't know who Russell is,
00:19:52it's Patrick J Adams.
00:19:53He played in suits.
00:19:54Now,
00:19:55if you ever watch suits,
00:19:56it's an amazing show.
00:19:57I'm going to tell you.
00:19:58I got mixed up with,
00:19:59Zach from Saved by the Bell.
00:20:01Remember?
00:20:01I was like,
00:20:02oh,
00:20:02this is it.
00:20:02You're like,
00:20:03no,
00:20:03that was Franklin and Bash.
00:20:04There you go.
00:20:05Franklin and Bash.
00:20:06But he,
00:20:07he plays,
00:20:10he almost plays the exact same character.
00:20:12If you take away the photo,
00:20:13photographic memory,
00:20:14like just the way he acts that,
00:20:16you know,
00:20:16he's,
00:20:17you know,
00:20:17he's,
00:20:17he's skittish.
00:20:20He's really playing that,
00:20:21that,
00:20:22that Mike character from suits,
00:20:23which I don't mind because it fits into what they could have said,
00:20:26Hey,
00:20:27this is Mike.
00:20:28And just changed a few things.
00:20:30And you would have been like,
00:20:31yep,
00:20:31this fits.
00:20:33Uh,
00:20:33but they go and identify the bodies.
00:20:38And at this point,
00:20:39I'm still like,
00:20:40there's no way they killed off Kurt Russell's character,
00:20:44Preston.
00:20:44There's no way.
00:20:45And she asked about the bodies and says,
00:20:48which one's which?
00:20:48He said,
00:20:49he said,
00:20:49we don't know.
00:20:51And they uncover it.
00:20:53And it is Paul.
00:20:56And then when she asked the other one,
00:21:00he,
00:21:01he uncovers it.
00:21:02And this is where she loses it.
00:21:03Right.
00:21:04Yeah.
00:21:04And she's like something like,
00:21:05you know,
00:21:06fingerprints wouldn't work.
00:21:07And she storms out.
00:21:09Now at this point,
00:21:10I was like,
00:21:11it's not him.
00:21:13Cause why would you say fingerprint?
00:21:14Cause that would have eliminated them having to call her and say,
00:21:18what about a wallet?
00:21:19They must've had their wallet with identification,
00:21:21a driver's license.
00:21:23No,
00:21:23that's what they did.
00:21:24But,
00:21:24but,
00:21:25but somebody has to identify the body.
00:21:27Well,
00:21:28that's what they,
00:21:28yeah.
00:21:29She was arguing with him because of that.
00:21:30She was like,
00:21:30I had some fond memories and now you're ruining it.
00:21:33Cause now I got to see him in this situation.
00:21:34I just,
00:21:35yeah,
00:21:36you know,
00:21:36I just work here.
00:21:37This is the law.
00:21:39And then the daughter asked to see,
00:21:40show me the last thing you showed.
00:21:42And we don't see it,
00:21:43but then we find out like,
00:21:44okay,
00:21:44she had just lost it.
00:21:46So he really is dead.
00:21:47Cause I was thinking like,
00:21:48it was somebody else that died that they found up there.
00:21:51And that he was still alive.
00:21:53And that would turn into a whole different type of show.
00:21:55Cause then we would probably see him trying to wait,
00:21:58make his way back home.
00:22:00And that could have been,
00:22:02could have been at this point.
00:22:03You're just like,
00:22:04all right,
00:22:04they they've killed off the main character.
00:22:07They brought in,
00:22:08you know,
00:22:08Matthew Fox,
00:22:09say what you want.
00:22:11He was one of the main people in lost.
00:22:13He was the oldest brother in party of five and he's done numerous other
00:22:16things.
00:22:17He's not a bit character.
00:22:19You don't think like you bring in a big name to kill him off in the first
00:22:2220 minutes.
00:22:23Now we know Kurt Russell is going to be on it the whole time.
00:22:26You're like,
00:22:26how are you going to do this?
00:22:27And they explain it pretty quickly.
00:22:30So throughout the first step,
00:22:32I'm like,
00:22:33you see her getting more upset because she's realizing how this family is.
00:22:40Right.
00:22:40It's a mess.
00:22:41They're,
00:22:42they're,
00:22:42they're spoiled.
00:22:43All of them.
00:22:43And they are spoiled beyond.
00:22:47Um,
00:22:48and they live the sheltered life.
00:22:50And that's the other issue that I had with all of this is that they,
00:22:53when,
00:22:54even in that episode,
00:22:55the first episode,
00:22:56when Stacy was talking with a friend and they were talking about life and,
00:22:59and friends that moved away,
00:23:01they go to Miami and I was like,
00:23:02yeah,
00:23:03but you know,
00:23:03this is it.
00:23:04This is where we're from.
00:23:05This is New York and the whole thing.
00:23:06I was like,
00:23:07okay,
00:23:07you know,
00:23:08fine.
00:23:08But then,
00:23:09then you're not really living the New York experience.
00:23:12Cause if you're got to go drive everywhere and you don't go to certain areas,
00:23:15cause you don't want to walk,
00:23:17then what is this?
00:23:18Have you ever been on the Brooklyn bridge?
00:23:20Did you ever walk that?
00:23:21Did you go to central Liberty?
00:23:22One thing we find out is Preston is the one.
00:23:24He's like,
00:23:24he can't leave his daughters.
00:23:27Yeah.
00:23:28But now what we do see is that there's clearly a divide between Abigail and page.
00:23:35Right.
00:23:35So we see this divide between Abigail and page.
00:23:38Now,
00:23:39Abigail,
00:23:40you think like she's the one that has her life more together.
00:23:45Russell,
00:23:46when they were,
00:23:46you know,
00:23:48at,
00:23:48when they were at dinner before everything,
00:23:49he's,
00:23:50you know,
00:23:50she asked,
00:23:51Hey,
00:23:51what did you do after your wife got mugged?
00:23:54Oh,
00:23:54well,
00:23:54we had this going.
00:23:55So you did nothing.
00:23:56You have nothing.
00:23:56Like she's aggravated.
00:23:58She's aggravated that they're,
00:24:00that they're on their phones,
00:24:01that they're not experiencing each other.
00:24:04And let's be honest.
00:24:05We all do it.
00:24:06Right.
00:24:07We all sit there on our phones.
00:24:08All right.
00:24:08I mean,
00:24:09we,
00:24:09we all went to dinner and we all went to lunch,
00:24:11you know,
00:24:12when I was at assembly required,
00:24:14especially your kids.
00:24:15They sit on their phone.
00:24:17But Preston,
00:24:18I think he also doesn't like Russell because I could have swore there was,
00:24:21it wasn't,
00:24:22he wasn't just talking about Dallas because they were already divorced,
00:24:24but he was saying something about,
00:24:25Oh no,
00:24:26no,
00:24:26forget it.
00:24:26It was Dallas because he said,
00:24:29I remember when they were talking on the phone and she said,
00:24:32I can't wait till this is all over.
00:24:35And he's like,
00:24:35Oh,
00:24:35she's gone from the life.
00:24:36He's like,
00:24:36well,
00:24:36he'll never be gone because they have two kids together.
00:24:39So he'll always still be relevant.
00:24:41There's also another,
00:24:42there's also another flashback where they're talking,
00:24:45where he has a completely different opinion about Dallas.
00:24:52So as we move on,
00:24:57Abigail,
00:24:58she's the only one that's kind of reaching out to her mom.
00:25:02Right.
00:25:04She said,
00:25:04I'm going to go for a walk.
00:25:05Hey,
00:25:06do you want some company?
00:25:07That would be great.
00:25:08Whatever.
00:25:08So she's the only one,
00:25:10but there is a huge thing at odds when it comes to them.
00:25:16And a lot of issues there.
00:25:18A lot of issues.
00:25:20So,
00:25:20but go ahead.
00:25:22No,
00:25:22go on.
00:25:22You're about to say something.
00:25:23Yeah,
00:25:23no,
00:25:24no,
00:25:24no.
00:25:24I was like,
00:25:24all right.
00:25:24So,
00:25:25I mean,
00:25:25that was pretty much how the first episode ended.
00:25:28Cause then she was like,
00:25:29Hey,
00:25:30I got the book.
00:25:30We're going to go to all these locations that your father loved.
00:25:34This is why he always came out here.
00:25:36It was our fault.
00:25:37We failed him.
00:25:38We never came out here.
00:25:39All the times he offered man,
00:25:4040 years of marriage.
00:25:41And you never take,
00:25:43even when they were little that I just,
00:25:45and that's one of those things where I have to say,
00:25:49like,
00:25:51as the father,
00:25:51you should have been like,
00:25:52listen,
00:25:53we're going there.
00:25:54Exactly.
00:25:54He was too passive.
00:25:56You don't have to go every single time.
00:25:58Once a year,
00:25:59you're coming here and you can,
00:26:01you can hack it for,
00:26:03you know,
00:26:04a week.
00:26:04Now the place does have power.
00:26:06Why it doesn't have running water or a toilet.
00:26:08I don't understand.
00:26:10They said something about why they can put a septic system.
00:26:12I don't buy that because you have running water.
00:26:15Yeah.
00:26:15They do have a shower.
00:26:17And the,
00:26:17the other cowboy friend that shows up in episode two,
00:26:20the next door neighbor.
00:26:21Now he,
00:26:22now he lives further down.
00:26:23So how he has it.
00:26:25Cause he was like,
00:26:25yeah,
00:26:25I have it.
00:26:26but when she's talking about the book and what they're going to be doing,
00:26:29how we're going to do all of this stuff,
00:26:30we haven't figured out exactly what was going on with the,
00:26:33with the journal.
00:26:34Like we find out in episode two and three,
00:26:39exactly what this journal is and why he was writing the stuff in that
00:26:43journal.
00:26:43Cause he was talking to her about the stuff and then he was writing it,
00:26:47but he doesn't say that.
00:26:48He's just writing about the journal.
00:26:51It was kind of crazy too.
00:26:52Yeah.
00:26:53Because some of it,
00:26:53it's like,
00:26:54he's talking to her,
00:26:55but was he ever going to give her this journal?
00:26:58No,
00:26:58no.
00:26:59This is thoughts down.
00:27:00Who does that?
00:27:01Who does he Mormon?
00:27:03Uh,
00:27:03what's going on here?
00:27:05It's,
00:27:05it's just,
00:27:06it is a little weird.
00:27:08You know what I mean?
00:27:08It's not something people do in episode one.
00:27:12There is the foreshadowing.
00:27:14He's a writer and he owns a publishing company.
00:27:18And then,
00:27:18then that makes sense because then he could say,
00:27:21this is my memoirs,
00:27:22you know,
00:27:23and I'm releasing it.
00:27:24Yeah.
00:27:25Now in the first episode,
00:27:28um,
00:27:29Russell does say,
00:27:31why would you name someone Russell when the main actor is Kurt Russell?
00:27:34That's why it doesn't give a call.
00:27:36I saw that too.
00:27:37I saw that.
00:27:37I was like,
00:27:38Oh,
00:27:38he didn't even dawn on me to just now.
00:27:40He just did it to like,
00:27:41Oh,
00:27:42you know what?
00:27:42I like that name.
00:27:43All right.
00:27:43I'm going to name him.
00:27:44Uh,
00:27:45he says,
00:27:46um,
00:27:47going to the bathroom is pretty difficult with the hornet's nest.
00:27:51No,
00:27:52they don't really say how big the hornet's nest is.
00:27:54And I was kind of like,
00:27:55why,
00:27:55you know,
00:27:56why would that would be one thing you would take care of?
00:27:59Exactly.
00:27:59You don't just leave it and be like,
00:28:00Oh,
00:28:01well,
00:28:01they're going to go away.
00:28:02No,
00:28:02they're not.
00:28:02They're hornets.
00:28:03They're not going away.
00:28:04Um,
00:28:04they leave it.
00:28:05And so we go into episode two,
00:28:08or around,
00:28:08we're going to be bouncing around,
00:28:10but this is,
00:28:10this is it.
00:28:12Yeah.
00:28:12So what we have here is Abigail says,
00:28:15do you want some,
00:28:16you know,
00:28:17do you want some company?
00:28:18I'm going to go to these places.
00:28:20And she talks,
00:28:21he wrote in the journal and he also told,
00:28:24he told her about it.
00:28:26Cause I think when he went up to,
00:28:29what did he call it?
00:28:30Stacy's,
00:28:31it was something with the blonde hair,
00:28:33right?
00:28:33Cause the way it was Stacy's metal.
00:28:36And he said that for some odd reason,
00:28:40none of the elk graze there and the grass is yellow.
00:28:44It reminds him of her hair.
00:28:46But I also think he went up there because that's where he could get reception.
00:28:52Cause if you know what he had to,
00:28:54yeah.
00:28:54Was that in two or three where he was talking to her and it was cutting out or the daughter.
00:28:59He was talking to one of them.
00:28:59I actually think that was an,
00:29:00I actually think that was an episode three,
00:29:02but that's kind of what we see.
00:29:03Yeah.
00:29:03He found that.
00:29:04I think what he was trying to trying to get reception.
00:29:07Now,
00:29:07remember Paul,
00:29:09the brother,
00:29:09they do have wifi and she's because,
00:29:13you know,
00:29:13she makes a comment about not having power.
00:29:16And he said,
00:29:16I didn't say we don't have power.
00:29:18I said,
00:29:18there's no outlets.
00:29:19Now,
00:29:20I don't think you truly meant there were no outlets.
00:29:22There's just very few outlets because you have,
00:29:24you know,
00:29:25you have,
00:29:25you have to have your cable modem plugged in for the wifi to work.
00:29:29Oh,
00:29:29there's gotta be food in the refrigerators.
00:29:32They have lights and everything.
00:29:35So there is stuff.
00:29:36There is power.
00:29:37It just sounds like there's not a lot of outlets.
00:29:39And plus the girls,
00:29:40obviously they're charging their phones somewhere.
00:29:44So I'm assuming that he was just out hiking,
00:29:46received the call.
00:29:47And then he was like,
00:29:48I gotta get the high ground because this signal is horrible.
00:29:51Yeah.
00:29:51You know,
00:29:52and that was one of the places that he would go to,
00:29:56to talk to her.
00:29:58And obviously it reminded her,
00:29:59you know,
00:30:00reminded him of reminded him of her.
00:30:03They would talk.
00:30:06And it's,
00:30:07it's very interesting because I have a feeling everything in this journal that
00:30:11they go to,
00:30:11this is where you're going to see new things come to light.
00:30:15But she decides this is where,
00:30:18this is where he's going to be laid to rest.
00:30:20Him and his brother are going to be laid to rest here.
00:30:23Yeah.
00:30:24And that's what I was thinking too,
00:30:25that they were going to go through every part.
00:30:27And once they get there,
00:30:28it would be like a choose your own adventure.
00:30:30Oh,
00:30:30we go over here now.
00:30:31Let me read this part.
00:30:32Oh,
00:30:33wow.
00:30:33In this area here,
00:30:34this is where something happened in his life.
00:30:38Or he called us during a special event or birthday or something.
00:30:42And that's what I just assumed because we got that in that episode,
00:30:46right?
00:30:47He's seen.
00:30:48And then she's laying down,
00:30:49Stacy lays down and she was like,
00:30:51Oh,
00:30:51I see it.
00:30:51And we get that beautiful shot.
00:30:53A lot of beautiful shots here.
00:30:54Oh yeah.
00:30:54You know,
00:30:55of the land.
00:30:55I mean,
00:30:56I,
00:30:56like I said,
00:30:57this should be on the travel channel.
00:30:58Also,
00:30:59if you want to entice people to go to Montana,
00:31:00we get them talk about the bears and says,
00:31:04I thought,
00:31:04I thought there weren't any bears.
00:31:05And he said,
00:31:06and she says like,
00:31:08well,
00:31:08they didn't say that there weren't that they just don't see bears.
00:31:12Something like that.
00:31:13Um,
00:31:14but we get page who has to go to the bathroom and she's very scared.
00:31:22I would be scared too.
00:31:23I'll just say that.
00:31:25So she doesn't remember your boy scout.
00:31:28Did you do boy scouts?
00:31:29I made up to wee blow.
00:31:30Oh,
00:31:31we blow.
00:31:31I didn't come scout.
00:31:32We blow.
00:31:33And then I'm like,
00:31:34where's my skateboard?
00:31:35I see.
00:31:36I was a boy scout.
00:31:38I also went camping for the summer up in bear mountain.
00:31:41So we learned everything about leaning against a tree,
00:31:44build a ditch,
00:31:45you know,
00:31:45start a fire,
00:31:46all this stuff.
00:31:47And using an outhouse,
00:31:48you had to worry about snakes that would come up and other things that may
00:31:52come out of the.
00:31:53We do find some stuff,
00:31:54not about snakes,
00:31:55right?
00:31:55We do find out some stuff about snakes.
00:31:58Yeah.
00:31:58Um,
00:31:59but so she goes there,
00:32:01she's sitting and then she sees a rat.
00:32:04And she freaks out.
00:32:05Now,
00:32:06as soon as that happens,
00:32:07I'm like,
00:32:07was it a rat or just a field mouse?
00:32:10It was rat,
00:32:11a field mouse,
00:32:11whatever it was.
00:32:12Either way,
00:32:12it freaked her out because no,
00:32:15you're from New York.
00:32:16And you've told me before that the rats there are the sizes of cats.
00:32:20They're big.
00:32:21And especially mainly the tail.
00:32:22They have these really long tails.
00:32:25So maybe that wouldn't freak you out as much.
00:32:27Although she,
00:32:27I didn't understand why anyone's going out barefoot.
00:32:29I'll tell you that much right now.
00:32:31Why anyone's the country.
00:32:32It's the country.
00:32:33What's the point?
00:32:34I mean,
00:32:34that comes up,
00:32:34I think in episode three,
00:32:36I hate being barefoot to begin with.
00:32:39So I,
00:32:39that's a whole nother story,
00:32:41right?
00:32:41You got to get the whole bottom callous nice and hard.
00:32:43So you don't feel anything.
00:32:44And just,
00:32:45yeah,
00:32:45no,
00:32:45I wear shoes throughout my house.
00:32:46I wear shoes.
00:32:47I remember walking the streets in New York and seeing people walk barefoot.
00:32:50How do you do that?
00:32:52That's the worst.
00:32:53I mean,
00:32:53you're stepping on gook,
00:32:54cigarette,
00:32:55but spit glass junk.
00:32:57I mean,
00:32:58I've seen,
00:32:58and these people wear shorts and stuff.
00:33:00I,
00:33:00I,
00:33:00I,
00:33:00I,
00:33:00I,
00:33:00I,
00:33:01it's not illegal to walk.
00:33:03It's not illegal.
00:33:04So I have new shoes that I,
00:33:05I keep in my house that I,
00:33:07I walk around in and break them in.
00:33:08And then when it's time to wear them out,
00:33:10I ordered another pair of shoes.
00:33:11And I usually have a few pairs of shoes that I walked in my house.
00:33:13Look at that.
00:33:15I don't like the way it feels on my feet.
00:33:17Again,
00:33:18whole,
00:33:18whole side thing.
00:33:19Anyway.
00:33:19So anyway,
00:33:21these Hornets go nuts and they start stinging her and she comes running in.
00:33:27Where's the shower?
00:33:29Abigail's laughing at it.
00:33:31Um,
00:33:32and then we have,
00:33:34um,
00:33:36well,
00:33:36we got Stacy.
00:33:37She was like,
00:33:37all right,
00:33:38she goes in and say,
00:33:39where is it?
00:33:39She shows hers in her bum.
00:33:40And then she starts private starts laughing.
00:33:43She was like,
00:33:44all right,
00:33:44well,
00:33:44we're going to get Benadryl.
00:33:46You're assuming this man has all these things in the medicine cabinet.
00:33:49I don't.
00:33:51Okay.
00:33:51But I,
00:33:52I'm,
00:33:52I'm under the assumption that Preston has probably said,
00:33:55Hey,
00:33:56he has everything because you have to be prepared.
00:33:59She,
00:34:00it's not like she's never met Paul.
00:34:02She knows he's got to be a survivalist.
00:34:04He has to have this stuff.
00:34:05At least then if,
00:34:06if anything,
00:34:07have a make it,
00:34:08have a make it already.
00:34:08Cause he did have the bear spray.
00:34:10Remember that was,
00:34:11I need a med kit because it's just him.
00:34:13So,
00:34:14Hey,
00:34:14I know where everything's at.
00:34:16I don't need a med kit,
00:34:17but you are correct.
00:34:19Um,
00:34:19now at this point,
00:34:20I think we skipped over where Abigail and we already,
00:34:27we skipped over where Abigail and,
00:34:29uh,
00:34:30Paige went yelling and screaming at each other,
00:34:33talking about yelling and screaming about how like,
00:34:37you know,
00:34:38cause she just wants to leave.
00:34:39Now,
00:34:39Abigail is the only one that's like,
00:34:40Hey,
00:34:40you know what?
00:34:41She needs to grieve.
00:34:43We lost the father.
00:34:44And basically we lost an ATM.
00:34:47She lost her best friend.
00:34:49And she comes in and she,
00:34:50there was a whole argument about that.
00:34:52She couldn't believe that.
00:34:53That's all the kids saw him as.
00:34:55They didn't really see him as a father,
00:34:57but whose fault is that?
00:34:59Okay.
00:34:59First,
00:35:00I didn't take that as,
00:35:01I didn't take that.
00:35:04I didn't take that as Abigail saying like,
00:35:07he was just an ATM to us,
00:35:09but he,
00:35:10she was basically saying like,
00:35:11yes,
00:35:11he was our father,
00:35:12but he was this person that gave us the money.
00:35:15This was her best friend.
00:35:16This was the person she spent every day with.
00:35:19Yes.
00:35:19We're grieving,
00:35:20but her grief is so much worse than ours.
00:35:23And she's absolutely correct.
00:35:24I think something's up with this character of Preston.
00:35:27That we're not seeing.
00:35:30It's just first,
00:35:31he's too passive,
00:35:32right?
00:35:32We didn't get that already.
00:35:33Cause he never dragged them out there in the 40 years.
00:35:36And later on in the episode,
00:35:38he had talked about,
00:35:38Oh,
00:35:39I do everything for my kids.
00:35:40Right.
00:35:40Especially the whole Abigail and wanting seats.
00:35:43He wants to give tough love.
00:35:44Cut her off.
00:35:44No,
00:35:45no,
00:35:45I can't.
00:35:45And she falls down to pick up my kid.
00:35:48But in the same respect,
00:35:50it makes it seem like he was never really there.
00:35:52Maybe he's always working because they don't seem like they're
00:35:54particularly close with him.
00:35:55Well,
00:35:56when they found out he died,
00:35:57where's all the tears and stuff like,
00:35:59Oh,
00:35:59father,
00:36:01none of that.
00:36:02They didn't show when they found out.
00:36:04They only showed when Stacy.
00:36:05That's what I'm saying.
00:36:06But then you see how they're acting here and it doesn't seem like
00:36:10they're really remorseful about the whole thing.
00:36:13It's like,
00:36:13Oh,
00:36:13I can't believe we lost that instead.
00:36:15And then that's why the mom comes in.
00:36:16I was like,
00:36:17if you think he's only here to just do all the stuff you didn't
00:36:19really know him.
00:36:20You didn't give a shit.
00:36:21Blah,
00:36:21blah,
00:36:21blah.
00:36:22Well,
00:36:22no,
00:36:22but again,
00:36:23they're also dealing with the grief in their own way.
00:36:25And that go again,
00:36:26you don't know how long it,
00:36:27again,
00:36:27they got to get on a plane to get to get out there.
00:36:29You have time to cry stuff out.
00:36:31It doesn't mean you're going to cry because they haven't seen it.
00:36:33Now Abigail is already dealing with the fact that she says,
00:36:37Hey,
00:36:37the last thing that I said to him was I'll pay you back when I can.
00:36:44And see,
00:36:45she said,
00:36:45what did she say?
00:36:46What did he say to you?
00:36:47I wouldn't accept it.
00:36:49Even if you did,
00:36:51because she thinks,
00:36:52you know,
00:36:53like he,
00:36:54I was his biggest,
00:36:55she said,
00:36:56I was his biggest disappointment.
00:36:57Let's be honest.
00:36:58Page is a much bigger disappointment.
00:37:01Yeah.
00:37:01Yeah.
00:37:02There's a lot.
00:37:02There's a lot.
00:37:03This whole family,
00:37:04this whole family.
00:37:05Like I,
00:37:05that's the other shit.
00:37:06I don't really feel a connection to any of these characters.
00:37:09Like,
00:37:10I don't feel like,
00:37:10Oh,
00:37:10well,
00:37:11I want to see a turnaround in Abigail or I hope things work out with Stacy.
00:37:15I see it.
00:37:16I don't.
00:37:18I don't.
00:37:19As she's reading the journal,
00:37:22she's starting to see stuff.
00:37:24Now she goes in to find out about the,
00:37:27well,
00:37:28first off the neighbor comes over.
00:37:30Right.
00:37:31First off,
00:37:32the neighbors is talking to the kids.
00:37:34Now,
00:37:35again,
00:37:36you're from New York.
00:37:37I'm from the Detroit area.
00:37:40Don't talk to my kids.
00:37:41Right.
00:37:42Like.
00:37:42The kids didn't know not to talk to strangers.
00:37:45Yeah.
00:37:46they just walk away.
00:37:47Like,
00:37:48nah,
00:37:48all right.
00:37:48There's nowhere for them to go.
00:37:50And they were very,
00:37:51they were shocked.
00:37:52Yeah.
00:37:53But here we're out in the country and he,
00:37:56they find a horseshoe and just says,
00:37:58Hey,
00:37:58there's good luck.
00:37:59You're hanging over.
00:37:59Right.
00:38:00Again,
00:38:01probably not how,
00:38:03if you're in Michigan or in,
00:38:05especially the Detroit area,
00:38:06not how you approach a kid.
00:38:08All right.
00:38:09Well,
00:38:09he did ask for their folks.
00:38:10He did say,
00:38:11where are your family?
00:38:12Where's your parents?
00:38:13I mean,
00:38:13he,
00:38:13it's not like,
00:38:14Hey,
00:38:14you want to hang out?
00:38:15No,
00:38:15but,
00:38:15but I'm saying like he,
00:38:16he approaches.
00:38:17And I get it again.
00:38:19You're also out in the country.
00:38:20And I'm assuming that's probably the only place he's ever lived.
00:38:23Right.
00:38:25Now he brings them food and he explains who he is.
00:38:29Now,
00:38:29everyone else is very apprehensive except for Stacy.
00:38:32Who's kind of like,
00:38:32well,
00:38:33she probably knew he had neighbors.
00:38:35Now they're probably a mile or so away,
00:38:38but he's not as secluded as at first it made it seem.
00:38:41He mentioned Preston by name.
00:38:44Also.
00:38:44That wasn't like,
00:38:45Oh,
00:38:46Paul.
00:38:46Yeah.
00:38:46Yeah.
00:38:46Okay.
00:38:47Yeah.
00:38:47You could overhear the guy,
00:38:48but then,
00:38:49Oh,
00:38:49Preston,
00:38:49all the brother.
00:38:50Yeah,
00:38:50I know.
00:38:51And,
00:38:51you know,
00:38:51and we heard what happened and it's like,
00:38:54and I mean,
00:38:54he had a tub of food who carries all this,
00:38:56you know what I mean?
00:38:57So it wasn't just made by his wife.
00:38:59It was made by people.
00:39:01Yeah.
00:39:01And others in the community in that area.
00:39:03And that was really nice.
00:39:05And so this is,
00:39:06so this is where they're getting again,
00:39:08whoever wrote this is into like,
00:39:10you can tell the hate political correctness.
00:39:14Because he calls it the Indian pie,
00:39:16right?
00:39:17Right.
00:39:17No,
00:39:19Indian taco.
00:39:21Indian.
00:39:21Okay.
00:39:22Which I'm sorry.
00:39:23I went,
00:39:24but they call it that.
00:39:26That was,
00:39:27I wasn't,
00:39:27I wasn't talking about the Indian.
00:39:29I was like the Indian taco.
00:39:30Sorry.
00:39:31I've been single way too long.
00:39:33And I get different thoughts in my mind.
00:39:38And then when,
00:39:40when,
00:39:40when the,
00:39:41the youngest granddaughter,
00:39:43she said,
00:39:44you can't say that.
00:39:45And he says,
00:39:45well,
00:39:46that's what the Indians call it.
00:39:47Yeah.
00:39:47And then we find out later on,
00:39:50because when Stacy sees her,
00:39:52she's like,
00:39:53wait till,
00:39:54wait till they meet his wife.
00:39:56Yeah.
00:39:57That was a whole other thing.
00:39:58Native American is what,
00:40:00is what,
00:40:01I mean,
00:40:01is what we're meant to believe,
00:40:03whether she's not in real life or not.
00:40:07But I didn't see me.
00:40:09It didn't seem like he got offended,
00:40:11but Stacy went over and said,
00:40:12Hey,
00:40:13yeah,
00:40:13she definitely took it further.
00:40:14I didn't,
00:40:15I didn't get that vibe either.
00:40:16I didn't linger on.
00:40:18Well,
00:40:18when you have an 11 year old,
00:40:20they'll say,
00:40:20and he goes,
00:40:20I do.
00:40:21And that's when I kind of got like,
00:40:23did he walk away mad?
00:40:25Because I didn't get the feeling that he walked up.
00:40:28No,
00:40:28no,
00:40:28because it didn't,
00:40:29it didn't happen right after that.
00:40:30They kept talking about the other foods and other things.
00:40:33It was like,
00:40:34Hey,
00:40:34if you ever need anything,
00:40:35you know,
00:40:35let me know.
00:40:36I mean,
00:40:36he went on about it.
00:40:37It wasn't like,
00:40:38what?
00:40:39All right.
00:40:40I got to go.
00:40:40The kids are in this real posh,
00:40:42you know,
00:40:42like,
00:40:43what is this?
00:40:44What is that?
00:40:45Is that gluten free?
00:40:46It's like,
00:40:47this was made from,
00:40:48from,
00:40:50you know,
00:40:50from the soil.
00:40:51Like this is stuff.
00:40:53She's absolutely right.
00:40:55When she says,
00:40:56you know,
00:40:56people have been eating breads forever.
00:40:58It's the preservatives we put in it that make it bad.
00:41:02Yeah.
00:41:02Right.
00:41:02That was during another conversation.
00:41:04During,
00:41:04I think breakfast or something like that.
00:41:06When they were talking about all the foods.
00:41:07If you remember Abigail,
00:41:09Abigail spitting the,
00:41:10the wisdom that Russell makes the,
00:41:13the meat.
00:41:14And he's like,
00:41:14I don't think it's meat.
00:41:16And she's like,
00:41:17it's,
00:41:17it's elk.
00:41:19Oh,
00:41:20I've had,
00:41:22but it tastes like venison.
00:41:24It's,
00:41:24it,
00:41:24it has gamey.
00:41:26It tastes gamey.
00:41:27I've had deer.
00:41:28And why is that a big deal?
00:41:29It's not a big deal.
00:41:30It's not like when it's,
00:41:31it was,
00:41:32it was,
00:41:33it was human ass.
00:41:34Exactly.
00:41:35It's not like it's human.
00:41:36It's cannibalism.
00:41:37This isn't a line.
00:41:39Um,
00:41:39Oh man.
00:41:40But that she loses it.
00:41:43Um,
00:41:43Paige loses it.
00:41:44And Abigail,
00:41:45she's there for the ride.
00:41:46Like she's enjoying it.
00:41:47But the one thing that,
00:41:49okay.
00:41:50So after she gets her ass stung,
00:41:52right.
00:41:53And Russell says,
00:41:54I said,
00:41:55there was a hornet's nest.
00:41:56You guys all heard it.
00:41:57Right.
00:41:58And Stacy,
00:41:58and I think it was Stacy or Abigail that said,
00:42:01yeah,
00:42:01I don't think that's going to cut it.
00:42:03No.
00:42:04Yeah.
00:42:04They were upset.
00:42:05She was upset at him,
00:42:06blamed him for everything.
00:42:07He eventually went out there.
00:42:08He got stung in the eye.
00:42:10Okay.
00:42:10So I thought that was kind of ridiculous because I guess if,
00:42:14I guess if you've never had to take,
00:42:16taking care of a bees nest,
00:42:19that maybe you do that.
00:42:20But first off,
00:42:21why would you go out with the bees are flying?
00:42:23Like you wait for them to calm down.
00:42:25Either that or cover yourself up.
00:42:27You know where you're going.
00:42:28Well,
00:42:29you went out without shoes.
00:42:31Well,
00:42:32still over your face,
00:42:33cover something.
00:42:34He went out without shoes again.
00:42:38And again,
00:42:39he ends up getting stung,
00:42:41but he's so proud because he actually feels like he took care of it.
00:42:46Although we see Stacy go out there and make sure afterwards.
00:42:51But this is where like,
00:42:52you know,
00:42:54you know,
00:42:54Paige is like saying,
00:42:55Hey,
00:42:56you know what?
00:42:56You're never going to see this again.
00:42:58And,
00:42:58you know,
00:42:59she has to get up into the loft.
00:43:02So,
00:43:03and she's like,
00:43:04Hey,
00:43:04it's either you do it down here in the loft.
00:43:05Fine.
00:43:06I'll go upstairs.
00:43:09And then the,
00:43:11the neighbor is the one that says,
00:43:12Hey,
00:43:13put mix this,
00:43:14put it on.
00:43:15Baking,
00:43:16baking powder with water.
00:43:18And if,
00:43:18even if they go to a medical facility,
00:43:19it's going to say,
00:43:20they're going to do the same thing.
00:43:21Same thing.
00:43:22How far is it?
00:43:24But we also find out that Paige got stung in other spots.
00:43:28Yeah.
00:43:28Which I can kind of understand why she'd be extremely.
00:43:31Oh yeah.
00:43:32No,
00:43:33no,
00:43:33no.
00:43:34Yeah.
00:43:35This is probably the first time she's ever been stung by a hornet.
00:43:37What if she gets an allergic reaction?
00:43:39There's all kinds of things that could happen.
00:43:41Oh yeah.
00:43:42If you,
00:43:43if you don't know,
00:43:44and these things are one of those things you don't know if you're allergic to
00:43:47beast things until you get stung.
00:43:49One of the other things we find out,
00:43:50Stacey,
00:43:51that's the,
00:43:52the,
00:43:52the cowboy friend for a funeral home.
00:43:55She needs some information because she got to bury them.
00:43:58And it sounds like she's going to do that there on the property that that's,
00:44:03that's where they want to stay or they've been,
00:44:05they want to live,
00:44:06you know,
00:44:06an afterlife,
00:44:07then so be it.
00:44:09You're going to do everything there.
00:44:11Now,
00:44:12Abigail,
00:44:12remember Abigail is the one that is very supportive of everything that she's doing
00:44:15to a point.
00:44:19but she also talks about where she wants to bury them.
00:44:21And they say,
00:44:23well,
00:44:23you know,
00:44:23you have to,
00:44:24you have to reach out.
00:44:25You have to talk to somebody about doing it,
00:44:28but understand that if you ever sell that land,
00:44:32they can do whatever they want.
00:44:33They will resume the bodies and probably just cremate them.
00:44:36I would think she knows this.
00:44:38Cause she was like,
00:44:38Oh yeah,
00:44:39I should get a lawyer to figure out.
00:44:41I mean,
00:44:42no,
00:44:42no,
00:44:42no,
00:44:42no,
00:44:42no,
00:44:43no.
00:44:43He said,
00:44:43you don't need a lawyer.
00:44:44But,
00:44:45and then when he starts saying that,
00:44:46he goes,
00:44:47she goes,
00:44:47a lawyer.
00:44:48He gives her a card.
00:44:49I thought this was where Beth was going to come in.
00:44:53Oh,
00:44:53I don't,
00:44:54I,
00:44:54she's above this unless this is her new job.
00:44:57It's possible.
00:44:59Like these are rich people.
00:45:01And I thought maybe this way,
00:45:03Hey,
00:45:03if you have an issue,
00:45:04maybe this is,
00:45:05but they never say who it is.
00:45:07It's,
00:45:07but I don't think it has,
00:45:08we don't even see,
00:45:09no,
00:45:09we don't see the card.
00:45:10Yeah.
00:45:11They don't,
00:45:11they don't touch anything and anyone from Yellowstone,
00:45:13which I'm perfectly fine.
00:45:14They called the stream Yellowstone trout.
00:45:18So,
00:45:18yeah,
00:45:19yeah.
00:45:19That's what they call it.
00:45:20Yeah.
00:45:21That's the only reference to Yellowstone that we get other than it's in Montana.
00:45:25That was it.
00:45:26So,
00:45:27but yeah,
00:45:27that was over at the funeral home.
00:45:29Right.
00:45:29So this is the point.
00:45:31And I think we all know this.
00:45:32It's like,
00:45:32yeah,
00:45:32if you sell the land and they find out that there's a cemetery there,
00:45:35they don't have to respect that.
00:45:37They can just dig it up.
00:45:38I'm like,
00:45:38no,
00:45:38we don't want a cemetery that people we don't know.
00:45:41But,
00:45:42but as she's reading this journal,
00:45:43this is where she's coming to the conclusion of what she wants to do.
00:45:48Now,
00:45:49it seems like a pretty quick conclusion because they're not,
00:45:51they're not there very long.
00:45:53No.
00:45:53Right.
00:45:55But,
00:45:57and this is when she borrowed the,
00:45:58even though she borrowed the,
00:46:00the,
00:46:01the truck or she took the rental,
00:46:05they come back.
00:46:07Basically,
00:46:08you know,
00:46:08fight about it because she took it.
00:46:10And she's like,
00:46:10Hey,
00:46:10when I'm paying for everything.
00:46:11And then the next day was when she calls the neighbor who is Cade.
00:46:18Yeah.
00:46:19Can you take me to pick up the truck,
00:46:23pick up Paul's truck?
00:46:25Cause it's all hers now.
00:46:27Right.
00:46:27Yeah.
00:46:28It's all hers.
00:46:28She just has to bring.
00:46:30And I guess that also helped out going to the funeral home.
00:46:33I guess she obtained the,
00:46:34the death certificate.
00:46:36Yes.
00:46:37And it seems like they're like,
00:46:39yeah,
00:46:40but we need the death certificate.
00:46:41Like what a horrible thing.
00:46:42Like once again,
00:46:43you have to pull the stuff out.
00:46:46And then she had both of them.
00:46:48She also had her husband.
00:46:49She handed the wrong one.
00:46:50I'm assuming that was Preston's.
00:46:52That's your hand.
00:46:53And then it's like,
00:46:54Oh wait,
00:46:54no,
00:46:55it's not that one.
00:46:55And it's got to sell the one.
00:46:56And you know,
00:46:57the lady was nice.
00:46:58And she's like,
00:46:58what was she said?
00:46:59We're praying for you or something like that.
00:47:01Or yeah.
00:47:02She said something.
00:47:03Try to keep up,
00:47:04lift her.
00:47:04It's like,
00:47:05it's not working.
00:47:05It's not happening.
00:47:06None of this is happening.
00:47:08But when she gets in the truck,
00:47:10there's like two coffee cups.
00:47:12And she gets really mad about the coffee cups.
00:47:15Right.
00:47:16And I couldn't tell if that's because like she,
00:47:20she assumed that the cops,
00:47:22when they drove it there,
00:47:24maybe drink coffee.
00:47:25No,
00:47:25no,
00:47:26no,
00:47:26no,
00:47:26no.
00:47:26I think this is just another moment that it's triggering of memories of
00:47:31all in our husband,
00:47:32but they didn't show anything.
00:47:34That's why I was a little confused.
00:47:36But anyway,
00:47:36flashback with all that.
00:47:37Yeah.
00:47:38And then she sees there's a gun in it.
00:47:40And again,
00:47:42not really surprising.
00:47:43You live where there's bears and other,
00:47:45other animals.
00:47:46We've all seen Yellowstone.
00:47:48I mean,
00:47:48for somebody to have a gun like that,
00:47:50then it's a pistol.
00:47:51It's not a rifle.
00:47:53It makes sense.
00:47:55Yeah.
00:47:56But one,
00:47:57one,
00:47:57before we even go further,
00:47:58there was one important scene that happened all the year.
00:48:00Cause then we do see the,
00:48:02the other officer,
00:48:03the sheriff or deputy or whatever.
00:48:04Remember that came over to the,
00:48:06the cowboy guy on the side and said,
00:48:08Hey,
00:48:09Van Davis.
00:48:10Yeah.
00:48:10And he said,
00:48:10I want to come by the house and,
00:48:12and see the horse and ride the horse.
00:48:13Yeah.
00:48:14You can come by.
00:48:15You can do this.
00:48:16And I was like,
00:48:16okay,
00:48:17that that's what's going on there.
00:48:18But they introduce him because he plays a big part in episode three.
00:48:22I think he's going to play.
00:48:26Yeah.
00:48:29Yeah.
00:48:31They already set up a love interest.
00:48:32Again,
00:48:33you guys have all seen this or you're not.
00:48:35You're listening to us to kind of talk about it.
00:48:38Hopefully it gives you an idea to go,
00:48:39Hey,
00:48:39you know what?
00:48:39I need to go watch this.
00:48:41Very,
00:48:41uh,
00:48:42the Brady Bunch vibes.
00:48:43I got from when he did story.
00:48:46And because this is,
00:48:47isn't that the same age of her two kids?
00:48:5011 and 14.
00:48:51At least 11.
00:48:52Yeah.
00:48:52They're about to definitely 11 for the youngest one.
00:48:56The smarty pants.
00:48:56Everyone had kids around that same time,
00:48:58you know,
00:48:59and,
00:48:59and the same situation.
00:49:01But,
00:49:01uh,
00:49:02yeah.
00:49:02So she gets in the,
00:49:03Stacy does say something like,
00:49:04Hey,
00:49:05you,
00:49:05you're stoned in for six months.
00:49:07What else to do?
00:49:07And he was like,
00:49:07exactly.
00:49:10Yeah.
00:49:11Yeah.
00:49:11Yeah.
00:49:12It's true.
00:49:12Cause that was,
00:49:13that was,
00:49:14you know,
00:49:14cause,
00:49:14uh,
00:49:14the cowboy has it.
00:49:15And then also the deputy sheriff,
00:49:17whatever.
00:49:17I don't remember his,
00:49:18his title.
00:49:20Who?
00:49:21the,
00:49:21the,
00:49:22the,
00:49:22the,
00:49:22the,
00:49:22the,
00:49:22the,
00:49:22the one that Abigail starts hanging out with.
00:49:24He's a deputy deputy.
00:49:26Okay.
00:49:26Deputy.
00:49:27Okay.
00:49:27These are sheriffs.
00:49:28You're not going to have police force down there.
00:49:30You're going to have sheriffs.
00:49:31Yeah.
00:49:34So would you see a flashback?
00:49:37Uh,
00:49:37because now we're focusing on Abigail.
00:49:39Like there's a lot of focus on Abigail and we see Preston and Stacy,
00:49:45um,
00:49:47in a bathtub and they're talking and he's,
00:49:51you know,
00:49:52they're talking about the divorce and everything.
00:49:55And this is where he says,
00:49:57you know,
00:49:57Dallas,
00:49:57well,
00:49:58he,
00:49:58you know,
00:49:58he's always been good to the kids.
00:50:00He's a good guy,
00:50:01but he wants spousal support and he wants,
00:50:04so this is where we find out like they're paying for everything.
00:50:09Yeah.
00:50:10Which I'm sorry.
00:50:12Like,
00:50:12but he laughs because both of them don't work.
00:50:15Abigail does not work,
00:50:16but it's not like she had.
00:50:17And it sounds like Dallas also didn't have a job.
00:50:20Yeah.
00:50:21He was a struggling actor.
00:50:24So really struggling.
00:50:25If you're acting in New York,
00:50:26you go to California.
00:50:29Wrong place,
00:50:30buddy.
00:50:31Um,
00:50:31but,
00:50:31but then he talks about how he feels about it.
00:50:34It clearly like,
00:50:36I hate to say it.
00:50:37You can tell this is his baby,
00:50:38even though she's the oldest.
00:50:41And he says,
00:50:43you know,
00:50:43she has no drive.
00:50:45She can't do anything.
00:50:47We have to do this the rest of her life or she's going to fail.
00:50:50Yeah.
00:50:51And there's nothing we can do.
00:50:52Like that.
00:50:53No tough love.
00:50:54This is just how she is.
00:50:55Yes.
00:50:56And Stacy's the one that wants it,
00:50:58but Preston is the one who is pressing against it.
00:51:02And that is one of the worst things that you can do because you're not,
00:51:05you're not allowing them,
00:51:07but she's going to move back in with them.
00:51:10And the reason why we're seeing this is because at the end of episode three,
00:51:16Stacy tells them,
00:51:18this is what I'm doing.
00:51:21Whether you like it or not.
00:51:23And you guys are on your own.
00:51:24If you don't want to stay here with.
00:51:25No,
00:51:26that was episode two.
00:51:27Was that because yeah.
00:51:29Episode two,
00:51:29because episode three is where we see Abigail hanging out with.
00:51:36Deputy and having a good old time and things are getting different.
00:51:39We got to episode two at the end when she was like,
00:51:42you know what?
00:51:42This is what's happening.
00:51:43Cause she did the whole thing with the funeral home.
00:51:44I'm going to be buried here.
00:51:46I'm selling the townhouse.
00:51:47Right.
00:51:48We're going to set things in a trust.
00:51:50Everything is here.
00:51:52No,
00:51:52no,
00:51:52no,
00:51:52no,
00:51:52no,
00:51:52no.
00:51:53No,
00:51:54because remember what set that into motion.
00:51:57This,
00:51:57this is what sold me on this whole,
00:52:00this is what sold me.
00:52:02So she's reading the journal.
00:52:04Now I hope you're staying this,
00:52:05this long.
00:52:06This was the whole purpose.
00:52:07I want to do this.
00:52:09She's reading the journal and he says it,
00:52:13it snowed and now it's already gone.
00:52:17Now I live in Michigan.
00:52:19That's how it feels.
00:52:20It was in the sixties today.
00:52:22It's supposed to be in the thirties tomorrow.
00:52:23And I think get into the teens and then whatever this is in Michigan,
00:52:27right?
00:52:28But he said,
00:52:28Hey,
00:52:29it's snowed.
00:52:29What are you,
00:52:30what did two 40 year olds do when it snows?
00:52:32You go outside and you make a,
00:52:35you make a snowman as big as a Tahoe.
00:52:37Now there's not even a,
00:52:38not a sign of it,
00:52:40but he starts going on about,
00:52:41they drink a lot.
00:52:42They drank like 24 beers.
00:52:44Cause they did a 12 pack.
00:52:46And then later on,
00:52:46they watched it melt and another one.
00:52:49And then I called BS on this one.
00:52:51This one got me upset also.
00:52:52Cause he was like,
00:52:53Oh,
00:52:53I never let my kids in.
00:52:54We didn't have a backyard.
00:52:55They never went and built a snowman or did anything.
00:52:57Like it's a lot.
00:52:58You can go to central park.
00:52:59You go to any park.
00:53:00But if you didn't take them there,
00:53:02if there wasn't a place for them to go out in the back and do it,
00:53:05if you didn't take them there.
00:53:08So then he wasn't a father to them.
00:53:10He can't complain about it.
00:53:12If he wasn't there,
00:53:12if that's the case,
00:53:13he didn't say it that way.
00:53:14It seemed like the reason was because he didn't have a backyard to do it.
00:53:18Well,
00:53:19they could just go out and do it on their own.
00:53:22Right.
00:53:22That's mostly,
00:53:23Hey,
00:53:24again,
00:53:24I didn't grow up in New York for me.
00:53:26We went across the street.
00:53:28I lived in condos.
00:53:29We went across the street in the backyard and we made snowmen around the
00:53:33side of the house.
00:53:34You can't do that in New York.
00:53:35If you're living directly in the city.
00:53:37Now,
00:53:38like you said,
00:53:38yeah,
00:53:38you can go somewhere,
00:53:39but you know,
00:53:41you have to go there with your parents.
00:53:42And if your parents don't take you for whatever reason,
00:53:45it's,
00:53:45it's just that it's doable.
00:53:46It makes it seem like,
00:53:48Oh,
00:53:48we just can't do it.
00:53:49Oh,
00:53:49Oh,
00:53:50they never happened.
00:53:51Oh,
00:53:51I'm a bad dad.
00:53:52Then it's on you.
00:53:54You're a slacker dad.
00:53:55But during this whole thing,
00:53:57he's talking about what his dream is.
00:53:59And my dream is,
00:54:01Hey,
00:54:01you know what?
00:54:02They have their own little place.
00:54:04We have our own place.
00:54:06And this is where Stacy starts noticing things because she kept getting mad
00:54:12that like,
00:54:13yeah,
00:54:14he couldn't do certain things around the house,
00:54:16like change the curtains,
00:54:17but you can go check on these cabins.
00:54:22Why are there?
00:54:24The brother didn't have people over.
00:54:28All right.
00:54:29So here,
00:54:29it's answer this one then.
00:54:30Cause one of the cabins had a bunch of toys,
00:54:32right?
00:54:32Cause wasn't that the thing that the girls are sleeping in a cabin.
00:54:35It was like,
00:54:35Oh yeah.
00:54:35What's in that cabin?
00:54:37Cause she,
00:54:37Stacy didn't go in.
00:54:38She's like,
00:54:38Oh,
00:54:38it's a bunch of toy stuff.
00:54:39She goes running over there.
00:54:40And it's like,
00:54:42he built this for you guys.
00:54:44I call BS on that too.
00:54:46Really?
00:54:46No,
00:54:46he was,
00:54:48he was when he went out there,
00:54:50him and his brother were building,
00:54:52we're building these cabins for them to come and visit.
00:54:57They refuse to ever come there.
00:54:59That's what I'm saying.
00:55:00His brother had,
00:55:02his brother had his own cabin.
00:55:04The other cabin that Stacy was staying in,
00:55:07because that was Preston's cabin was probably all set up perfect for
00:55:12everything.
00:55:12Stacy wanted.
00:55:13He was buying toys,
00:55:15buying games.
00:55:16Cause that's where the kids would stay.
00:55:17So his dream would be when they go and visit the girls would have their own
00:55:23cabin.
00:55:24All right.
00:55:26Uh,
00:55:26Paul,
00:55:27he obviously is his land.
00:55:29He has his own cabin.
00:55:30And then Stacy and Preston are going to have their own cabin.
00:55:33And that's what I'm saying all these years.
00:55:35And you don't force them to come and say,
00:55:37listen,
00:55:37we built cabins and he was sending pictures because remember there was a few
00:55:41times where he was doing a,
00:55:42the FaceTime and he's showing pictures.
00:55:44Because she didn't know what the cabins were for.
00:55:47Was it,
00:55:48you know,
00:55:48she,
00:55:49she's assuming that they're Paul's cabins.
00:55:52Paul needs help building this.
00:55:54Paul needs help with this.
00:55:56And she was like,
00:55:57Hey,
00:55:57if you just told me you want to go drink with your brother,
00:56:00I'd be okay.
00:56:01But you use this whole fishing thing.
00:56:04Right.
00:56:04And he had a reason,
00:56:05but this is where she realizes,
00:56:07Oh my God,
00:56:08he has been building this for years because the girls are no longer kids,
00:56:13but all those toys,
00:56:15they were all older board games.
00:56:17They're all older toys.
00:56:18They weren't modern classified GI Joe stuff.
00:56:21It was all older stuff.
00:56:22I just can't believe that to do all that.
00:56:26Think about it.
00:56:26That was you.
00:56:27If you built all this and they're like,
00:56:29I still don't want to know you were getting in the car.
00:56:31You're getting on the plane.
00:56:32We are going,
00:56:33and you're going to see what I did,
00:56:35but we haven't fully seen how his character is.
00:56:39He's a very passive guy.
00:56:40And I wanted them to say,
00:56:43you know what?
00:56:43Let's go see this rather than him force them because we already see how they
00:56:47would have acted.
00:56:49Now,
00:56:49maybe they were.
00:56:50I mean,
00:56:51just the fact that they even got to this point,
00:56:52it just shows too much.
00:56:54I don't know.
00:56:55We need more on his story and hopefully we'll get more of that later on.
00:56:59What he does for a living,
00:57:01how this all came about.
00:57:03I need more.
00:57:04She calls her friend to come out.
00:57:06So I'm assuming in episode four,
00:57:08we're going to see her friend showing up there.
00:57:10She said it's something very useful that a lot of people would say.
00:57:14It's like your friends,
00:57:15right?
00:57:15We're friends.
00:57:16You're really good friend.
00:57:17Prove you a good friend.
00:57:18All right,
00:57:18come out here.
00:57:19That's how,
00:57:19you know,
00:57:20if you're really good.
00:57:21It's going to be serious.
00:57:22You're coming out to Montana.
00:57:24So there are a few issues here.
00:57:26All right.
00:57:27And this is where she,
00:57:30like,
00:57:30again,
00:57:31where she says,
00:57:32we've raised these little bitches and Abigail storms after her and says,
00:57:37those are not your kids.
00:57:39And she's like,
00:57:39I wasn't talking about them.
00:57:41Although in a roundabout way she was,
00:57:43but I understand where she was coming from.
00:57:46Right.
00:57:46And she is coming from a point of while we raised these bitches and now
00:57:52they're raising other little bitches,
00:57:54which is absolutely correct.
00:57:56Yeah.
00:57:57Yeah.
00:57:58But after that,
00:58:00after she sees what these cabins were made,
00:58:02this is when,
00:58:03in my opinion,
00:58:04she made that decision.
00:58:05This is where I'm going to move.
00:58:07But my problem is she's looking into what the schooling is like.
00:58:12You can't just decide that you're going to uproot those kids.
00:58:15And as somebody that's,
00:58:17yeah,
00:58:18now she says,
00:58:19I'm selling the condo.
00:58:21It's being put in a trust that this land will always stay in our family
00:58:25through this trust.
00:58:28Dallas is on his own.
00:58:29I'm selling it.
00:58:31Like,
00:58:31screw him.
00:58:31Now,
00:58:32first of all,
00:58:32I would have said that a long time ago.
00:58:33Oh yeah.
00:58:33You know,
00:58:34I'm sorry.
00:58:35Like you're not getting spousal support where my daughter isn't even the breadwinner.
00:58:42We don't fully get,
00:58:44because clearly Russell is,
00:58:46he has his own.
00:58:48He's got some kind of business.
00:58:50It's something about shipping.
00:58:51Cause I remember he had talked about buying some shipping container that can move goods.
00:58:55Was that money through them?
00:58:57Did they maybe finance that?
00:58:59Did they,
00:58:59you know,
00:59:00what if he works for the family business?
00:59:01You're right.
00:59:02We don't know.
00:59:02Maybe that is a family business shipping.
00:59:04So we don't know that never comes up.
00:59:07In fact,
00:59:08if I wonder how big this company is,
00:59:10because usually,
00:59:11and I've seen,
00:59:12we've seen other shows when something like this happens,
00:59:14even a secession and stuff like that,
00:59:16the kids,
00:59:17they meet with the board.
00:59:18They start talking,
00:59:19figuring out who's the next in command,
00:59:21who's handling transactions.
00:59:23That doesn't come up.
00:59:24This has all been about just the family.
00:59:26It could be.
00:59:29But when they go in and they pick up the truck,
00:59:31they get in,
00:59:32you know,
00:59:32Abigail and Stacy get in a huge fight.
00:59:35And she's like,
00:59:36you just let me out.
00:59:36Let me out right here.
00:59:38And Stacy does.
00:59:40Now,
00:59:41now Cade sees it.
00:59:43And that's when he calls for the share,
00:59:45the share.
00:59:47I need,
00:59:47I need you to pick someone up because remember he's,
00:59:51he's in front.
00:59:52So he just sees that she's stopped.
00:59:55Clearly she's not getting back.
00:59:57Now,
00:59:57why Stacy starts asking later on,
00:59:59where's your mom at?
01:00:00And she's like,
01:00:01I need to go find her.
01:00:02Like,
01:00:02wait a minute.
01:00:03How long did you leave her out there for?
01:00:06It's at night.
01:00:07It was,
01:00:08it was,
01:00:09it wasn't at night when he dropped,
01:00:10when she jumps them off though.
01:00:11No,
01:00:12but then she assumed it was going to take a while for her to walk back.
01:00:16Well,
01:00:16she didn't know how to get there.
01:00:18And the funny part is when she's on the phone and she's like,
01:00:22what if I rent two cars and you have two people driving one out here?
01:00:27She couldn't get a rental.
01:00:29Yeah.
01:00:30Now the other thing is,
01:00:32I mean,
01:00:32if she's modern in the whole thing in this area,
01:00:35I'm sure they're probably an Uber system still,
01:00:37you know,
01:00:37it's present day from what I understand,
01:00:39right?
01:00:39This was how do you tell someone where you're at?
01:00:41You tell them on the highway.
01:00:43Yeah.
01:00:43She's the only person walking.
01:00:44It was like,
01:00:45yeah,
01:00:45you could easily say like my car broke down.
01:00:47I'm on,
01:00:48you know,
01:00:48this highway.
01:00:49Where are you?
01:00:49I'm the only person out here.
01:00:51And then when the deputy shows up,
01:00:52he even says it.
01:00:53He's like,
01:00:54this is illegal for you to be out here.
01:00:56Yeah.
01:00:57And even,
01:00:59even in,
01:01:00in,
01:01:00in Montana,
01:01:03where there's no one around and there's a pretty girl walking down the
01:01:06street,
01:01:06they don't even want to pick up hitchhikers.
01:01:08Cause they just that deputy.
01:01:10Maybe it's me.
01:01:10He,
01:01:11it's not like he had a Canadian accent.
01:01:13He,
01:01:14he had some kind of Canadian accent.
01:01:16I was like,
01:01:16Oh,
01:01:16we got a Canuck over here.
01:01:18Something,
01:01:18something about it.
01:01:19I don't know what it was,
01:01:20but I heard a little.
01:01:22Oh,
01:01:22there was something.
01:01:24It was definitely something.
01:01:25Let's see if I can see where he's from.
01:01:29Because we already talked about the location,
01:01:31Montana and all that,
01:01:32but yeah,
01:01:33he picks him.
01:01:35He was born in New York.
01:01:36So what's shenanigans.
01:01:40Then he's putting on the accent.
01:01:42Then he's putting on this accent and it's coming off Canadian or whatever
01:01:46he's trying to put.
01:01:46I don't even know if people in Montana have an accent.
01:01:48I haven't heard it.
01:01:50So,
01:01:50so,
01:01:51you know,
01:01:51what we do is he gets,
01:01:52he picks her up.
01:01:53He ends up going to,
01:01:56to Cades to see the horse.
01:01:58We see the kids and they're,
01:02:01they're no different than every other kid that has a big yard.
01:02:04Yeah.
01:02:05One's playing with a snake.
01:02:08There's a snake alone.
01:02:09No one's riding a horse.
01:02:12And,
01:02:13and it's at night.
01:02:14Yeah.
01:02:14Well,
01:02:15and this is where Stacy finally goes and checks and sees where Abigail is at.
01:02:19And we also find out.
01:02:22She's in trouble when they use them were,
01:02:24when they use her full name,
01:02:26when they say Abby,
01:02:28she's fine.
01:02:29But then there's Abigail.
01:02:31That's when something bad has happened.
01:02:32That's usually how it is.
01:02:34When they use my grandmother,
01:02:35when they say the first and last name and call you into the,
01:02:38Oh,
01:02:38you were in trouble.
01:02:38And,
01:02:39but I feel like that was just kind of emphasized.
01:02:43So she's just freaking out.
01:02:45And the kids are like,
01:02:46no,
01:02:46no,
01:02:47no.
01:02:47She's at the neighbor's house.
01:02:48What?
01:02:49Oh yeah.
01:02:49She's been there for a couple hours,
01:02:50whatever.
01:02:51So she called to let them know,
01:02:53Hey,
01:02:53I'm off.
01:02:54I'm okay.
01:02:55I was picked up by the sheriffs,
01:02:57you know,
01:02:58to drop us off.
01:03:00Grandma kicked me out of the car.
01:03:02And grandma says,
01:03:03no,
01:03:03she asked to get out of the car.
01:03:05Technically Stacy is right.
01:03:07She did ask to get out of the car.
01:03:11What's deputy's name?
01:03:12It's not like you had it up front.
01:03:14What's the character name?
01:03:16Van Davis.
01:03:17Van Davis.
01:03:17That's his character.
01:03:18All right.
01:03:19His first name is Van.
01:03:20His last name is Davis.
01:03:22Van.
01:03:22All right.
01:03:23So his deputy van.
01:03:24All right.
01:03:24Because that's why I brought the Brady bunch,
01:03:27because when they're sitting there,
01:03:28just bonding and talking about their life,
01:03:30he mentions that he has two kids.
01:03:33One's 11.
01:03:34The other one's 14.
01:03:35Two boys.
01:03:35She has two girls.
01:03:37We know one's 11.
01:03:39Don't know what the other one,
01:03:39but I'm sure it's within that age.
01:03:42Roughly around that age.
01:03:44And says that his wife passed away.
01:03:46ATV accident.
01:03:47It tipped over.
01:03:48Fell on her.
01:03:49Right.
01:03:49So that's horrible there.
01:03:51And what about you?
01:03:52Oh, you know, divorced.
01:03:53You know, and there goes that.
01:03:55So the Brady bunch.
01:03:57It just seems like it's going to work.
01:03:58Like this is it.
01:03:59They're going to get together
01:03:59and they're going to have their families.
01:04:01This is their first sign of showing that,
01:04:03hey, there might be a reason for me to be here.
01:04:07No, this would be a culture shock.
01:04:09I couldn't move to Montana out of Detroit
01:04:12and be like, wow.
01:04:14I mean, you moved from New York to Des Moines.
01:04:18Yeah.
01:04:19It was a long process.
01:04:21Yeah.
01:04:22Des Moines is, it's a real city.
01:04:24But I was there.
01:04:25It's, it's not,
01:04:27it's not the size of even like one of the,
01:04:30you know,
01:04:31some of the bigger.
01:04:32Oh, no, no, no, no.
01:04:33It's always funny.
01:04:34I remember one time there was a guy in a train,
01:04:36subway train,
01:04:37and he saw me wearing an Iowa shirt.
01:04:38And I was with my wife and he came up.
01:04:40I was like, oh man, what part?
01:04:42What part?
01:04:42And I was like, oh, this is Des Moines.
01:04:43He hit, oh, the big city.
01:04:46And then he got off.
01:04:47And I was like, what?
01:04:49I was like, are you kidding me?
01:04:50We're currently in the big city.
01:04:52I don't consider Des Moines a big city.
01:04:54But the way he said it,
01:04:56I was like, are you city folk?
01:04:57I'm like, you're telling me this
01:04:59on the R train in Manhattan.
01:05:01What's wrong with you?
01:05:02But yeah, it was, it was funny.
01:05:05But yeah, that was an interesting one thing.
01:05:07We did go, we didn't get into,
01:05:08but it was also kind of funny.
01:05:10There was a fight that happened earlier that day.
01:05:13Remember it was Abigail and Paige
01:05:15and they really went at it.
01:05:16Like they were fighting, fist fighting,
01:05:18throwing punches, breaking everything.
01:05:21Yeah.
01:05:21They made a mess.
01:05:23The mom came and cleaned all this up.
01:05:24So there's already that pitch.
01:05:27You are going to clean this up.
01:05:28Unlike my condo in New York.
01:05:30Exactly.
01:05:31Well, we have the help.
01:05:32Yeah.
01:05:33But that's clearly like,
01:05:34this is what we didn't make you do
01:05:36when we should have.
01:05:38Yeah.
01:05:38We didn't make you do this stuff.
01:05:41They didn't have to do anything.
01:05:42I mean, this is,
01:05:43this is the same situation we hear.
01:05:45And I don't like to bring it up
01:05:46because it's sad,
01:05:46but a lot of these celebrities
01:05:48and their kids,
01:05:49and then we hear tragic things happen
01:05:50when these kids grow up
01:05:51to be adults, fall apart.
01:05:53Why is that?
01:05:54Why can't they follow
01:05:55in their parents' footsteps?
01:05:55It's because they didn't have to,
01:05:57you know, work for anything.
01:05:58They didn't have to hustle for it,
01:05:59whether it's sports or,
01:06:01you know, acting or business.
01:06:03Everything was handed there.
01:06:04And it's,
01:06:05what do you want to do?
01:06:06What do they always say?
01:06:07When you get to a certain point,
01:06:08you want to do everything
01:06:09you can for your kids.
01:06:11That's what we're told to do, right?
01:06:13You want to give what you can,
01:06:14what you didn't have.
01:06:15That's the problem.
01:06:16Where is that point?
01:06:17Some people don't know that point
01:06:19and then just leave
01:06:20the checkbook open
01:06:21and like,
01:06:22go live,
01:06:22go have fun.
01:06:23Then the kid's like,
01:06:24then why do I have to work?
01:06:25Why do I have to go to school?
01:06:26I'm rich.
01:06:27We're wealthy.
01:06:28Yeah, exactly.
01:06:29It's like,
01:06:30I can do whatever.
01:06:30I'm going to do this
01:06:31line of blow now.
01:06:32Thanks, dad.
01:06:33You know,
01:06:34it's like,
01:06:34what?
01:06:35And it falls apart.
01:06:36And that's why.
01:06:37There was no point.
01:06:38There was no,
01:06:39listen,
01:06:39you need to earn for yourself.
01:06:41This builds character.
01:06:42This turns you
01:06:43into an individual.
01:06:44And we're not seeing that
01:06:45because that was the thing
01:06:46that person said
01:06:47about Abigail.
01:06:48She can't do anything
01:06:49for herself.
01:06:50And that's on them.
01:06:51He said,
01:06:52that's on them.
01:06:52We never had her
01:06:54had her do anything
01:06:55for herself.
01:06:55So we can't just like,
01:06:57that was when they were
01:06:58doing the tub scene.
01:06:59And he's like,
01:06:59no,
01:07:00I can't.
01:07:00Sorry,
01:07:01can't do it.
01:07:02We got to let her.
01:07:03We have to be there
01:07:03till the end.
01:07:04I'm just saying this.
01:07:05If I'm sitting naked
01:07:07in a tub
01:07:08with my wife
01:07:09or girlfriend
01:07:10or some hot girl
01:07:11and say what you want.
01:07:13Michelle Pfeiffer
01:07:13is still hot.
01:07:14I'm not talking
01:07:15about my daughter.
01:07:16All right.
01:07:17They could have
01:07:18already had the party.
01:07:19That party.
01:07:20I don't care.
01:07:21All right.
01:07:22Now they're just,
01:07:23you know,
01:07:23free flowing it.
01:07:24They're like,
01:07:24okay,
01:07:25now we can talk
01:07:25about this,
01:07:26you know,
01:07:27but at the end
01:07:29of the episode,
01:07:30she says what
01:07:31she's doing.
01:07:32Yeah.
01:07:33This is,
01:07:33this is my home now.
01:07:35And it seems like
01:07:36maybe this would be
01:07:37a fast thing.
01:07:38Be like,
01:07:39wait a minute,
01:07:39you're just going
01:07:39to uproot everything.
01:07:41But reading these journals
01:07:42is where she realizes
01:07:44he's always wanted them
01:07:46to not even live there,
01:07:48but come visit.
01:07:49And they couldn't
01:07:50even do that.
01:07:51And she says,
01:07:53hey,
01:07:53that's so sad.
01:07:54This is where
01:07:54they're being buried.
01:07:56I will be buried here.
01:07:57If you guys want to,
01:07:59you can be buried here,
01:08:00but you don't have to be.
01:08:02All right.
01:08:03The condo is being sold.
01:08:04It's going to be put
01:08:05into trust.
01:08:06So this place will
01:08:07always remain
01:08:08in our family.
01:08:09So you,
01:08:10you know,
01:08:10and basically like,
01:08:11this is what's going
01:08:11to pay for this.
01:08:12So if you guys
01:08:13aren't paying for it,
01:08:14something is going
01:08:14to be paying for it.
01:08:15So no one will uproot
01:08:18this here.
01:08:19This will never be sold.
01:08:20So is this going
01:08:21to be the show?
01:08:22It's just like city
01:08:23slickers or Beverly
01:08:25Hillbillies.
01:08:25Like,
01:08:26are we bringing
01:08:26these people over
01:08:28into this environment
01:08:30and now try to retrofit?
01:08:32It's like,
01:08:33oh,
01:08:33they're going to adjust.
01:08:34I don't see the son-in-law
01:08:35thing here because that way
01:08:36he's going to give up
01:08:37whatever his job.
01:08:38Controversy right there
01:08:39that he doesn't want to.
01:08:41Or maybe he's the one
01:08:42who's like,
01:08:42hey,
01:08:43I kind of like this
01:08:43and page is the one
01:08:44that doesn't.
01:08:45I mean,
01:08:45page is concerned
01:08:46that,
01:08:46oh man,
01:08:47my ass is bigger
01:08:48because of things.
01:08:49Do you think
01:08:50it will be forever?
01:08:51Like,
01:08:51are you that stupid?
01:08:52Well,
01:08:53that's what he would say.
01:08:54He was like,
01:08:54who knows?
01:08:54I mean,
01:08:55yeah,
01:08:55they tried to have
01:08:56their little moment
01:08:56with whole thing.
01:08:57I'm sorry.
01:08:58That guy should have
01:08:59asked for a divorce
01:08:59a long time ago.
01:09:01No matter what he does,
01:09:02he's wrong.
01:09:03But the one thing
01:09:04Abigail does bring up,
01:09:05it's like,
01:09:05yeah,
01:09:05it looks nice now,
01:09:06but we talked about it before.
01:09:08Once the winter comes,
01:09:09who's going to shovel?
01:09:10Who's going to do this?
01:09:11She could still hire somebody.
01:09:12She's still got money.
01:09:15remote to the point
01:09:16that she can't get people
01:09:17to work the land for her.
01:09:20She could still do that.
01:09:21You can rent out the cabins
01:09:22throughout the years.
01:09:23They're not going to be living there.
01:09:25Oh,
01:09:25she could build more cabins.
01:09:27Remember,
01:09:27we don't know
01:09:29the size of the land
01:09:30that she owns.
01:09:32Because remember,
01:09:32that was the other thing.
01:09:32It's really large.
01:09:33I mean,
01:09:34if she had to go find
01:09:37Stacey's meadow,
01:09:39right,
01:09:40there's a good amount of space.
01:09:42Is that his land
01:09:43or is that open land?
01:09:45No,
01:09:45that's his land
01:09:46because
01:09:47she asked about putting it there
01:09:48and said,
01:09:48yeah,
01:09:49but if you sell it.
01:09:50You know what it would be?
01:09:51It would have been fun
01:09:52if we saw a sign
01:09:53like off in the distance
01:09:54of the property
01:09:55of the Yellowstone,
01:09:56you know,
01:09:56Dutton family.
01:09:57You can remember
01:09:58where they had their borders.
01:10:00Even though when they sell it,
01:10:01I mean,
01:10:01you still have to,
01:10:02they didn't have fences,
01:10:03but they said
01:10:04that they had poles
01:10:05or whatever that would say
01:10:06where,
01:10:06so you knew
01:10:07you were on private land.
01:10:08If you do remember,
01:10:09that was one of the conditions
01:10:12when they sold
01:10:13the Dutton Ranch
01:10:14was that the cemetery
01:10:15has to stay there.
01:10:18Did it?
01:10:19Yes,
01:10:20that was one of the conditions
01:10:21that the cemetery
01:10:22has to stay there
01:10:23because don't you remember
01:10:24there was kids
01:10:24that went over
01:10:25and started knocking it over?
01:10:27Oh,
01:10:27yes,
01:10:27yes,
01:10:28yes.
01:10:28that went over there.
01:10:29That's right.
01:10:30They were pushing over
01:10:31the tombstones
01:10:32and he was like,
01:10:32what are you doing?
01:10:33He's like,
01:10:33no,
01:10:33no,
01:10:33no,
01:10:34no.
01:10:34This stays here.
01:10:35We fix this,
01:10:35but this is staying.
01:10:36Yeah,
01:10:37right,
01:10:37right.
01:10:37You pick it up.
01:10:38I wouldn't.
01:10:39Mo picked them.
01:10:39I think it was Mo
01:10:40picked them all up.
01:10:41I would have been like,
01:10:42no,
01:10:42no,
01:10:42no,
01:10:42no,
01:10:42no,
01:10:42You little bastard.
01:10:43You come up here
01:10:44and you pick up
01:10:45this tombstone.
01:10:46It's a lot easier
01:10:47to get them down
01:10:47than get them back up,
01:10:48isn't it?
01:10:49Yeah,
01:10:50exactly.
01:10:50Oh,
01:10:51man.
01:10:52But if she gives it,
01:10:54you know,
01:10:55her friend is coming in,
01:10:56so we're going to see
01:10:56her friend come in.
01:11:00I wasn't sold on it
01:11:01after the first episode.
01:11:04I wasn't sold on it
01:11:06after the third episode.
01:11:08You know,
01:11:09there we go.
01:11:09There's three more
01:11:10in this season
01:11:11and we don't have to talk.
01:11:12No,
01:11:13we could keep going
01:11:13because it's so short.
01:11:14It's so short.
01:11:15We could do another one
01:11:16like this and just,
01:11:16because we did say
01:11:17we were going to,
01:11:18we wanted to cover this.
01:11:19You know,
01:11:20we want,
01:11:20we like Taylor Sheridan.
01:11:22We like his shows,
01:11:23what he produces.
01:11:24So we appreciate the writing
01:11:26and the work that's involved in it.
01:11:27Kept saying this.
01:11:28I looked.
01:11:29It said executive producer again.
01:11:32And it said from the creator.
01:11:33It didn't say he wrote the script.
01:11:35I was looking to find it.
01:11:36I think this is,
01:11:37I think,
01:11:37I mean,
01:11:38I have not watched
01:11:39any of the Walking Dead spinoffs
01:11:43after what?
01:11:47I forgot his first name,
01:11:48but his last name Gimbal.
01:11:50There is a writer.
01:11:51It's not Kirkman.
01:11:52Yeah,
01:11:52but doesn't Kirkman
01:11:53still get executive producer?
01:11:54Because.
01:11:55That's a good question.
01:11:56Because stories
01:11:57were created by him.
01:11:58For the Walking Dead.
01:11:58Yeah,
01:11:59he gets executive.
01:11:59Well,
01:12:00he gets created by,
01:12:02you know,
01:12:02world created by Walking Dead
01:12:04by Robert Kirkman.
01:12:05But he's still under,
01:12:06do you remember?
01:12:06I'm sure.
01:12:07Oh,
01:12:07I'm sure he's getting a cut.
01:12:08He's still under contract.
01:12:09I think,
01:12:12what's his face?
01:12:13Kirkman.
01:12:14He was,
01:12:15I don't know if he was like,
01:12:15go or wasn't retained or whatever.
01:12:17They,
01:12:17you know,
01:12:18they own the rights to it.
01:12:19That's why he killed the comic
01:12:21because he's like,
01:12:22screw you guys.
01:12:23Well,
01:12:23I don't know if that's true or not.
01:12:25No,
01:12:25no,
01:12:25no,
01:12:25that wasn't true.
01:12:26He was just running its course.
01:12:27Originally,
01:12:27there was never an ending.
01:12:28And when it ended,
01:12:29I remember,
01:12:29because I used to read.
01:12:31Number 98.
01:12:32Number 98.
01:12:33He made it 100.
01:12:34He's like,
01:12:34yeah,
01:12:34I'm done.
01:12:34Yeah.
01:12:35And I got it.
01:12:36And I'm like,
01:12:36okay,
01:12:36I'm reading.
01:12:37And I was like,
01:12:37the end.
01:12:38And I was like,
01:12:38wait,
01:12:38what the hell?
01:12:39Cause it did a huge time jump.
01:12:41And we got to see Carl older and everything.
01:12:44I was like,
01:12:44Oh wow.
01:12:45I feel like Kirkman had just finished watching,
01:12:47watching Forrest Gump where he just gets done running.
01:12:50He's like,
01:12:51I'm done running.
01:12:52You know what?
01:12:53I'm done writing.
01:12:54I'm done.
01:12:54I think it was around this time that he had all these other projects
01:12:58announced with Amazon,
01:12:59you know,
01:13:00invincible was coming over and stuff like that.
01:13:02And I think maybe he was like,
01:13:03you know,
01:13:03let's just end this so I could focus more on other projects.
01:13:05You know,
01:13:06he's got all the comic series that he's working on and stuff.
01:13:09So you can always come back to the walking dead.
01:13:11Oh yeah.
01:13:12Well,
01:13:12if you want to,
01:13:12but anyway,
01:13:13I,
01:13:14I,
01:13:14I enjoyed it.
01:13:16I,
01:13:16I was very disappointed 20 minutes,
01:13:1920 minutes into it.
01:13:22I told you for me,
01:13:24I thought it was extremely sad.
01:13:25Like,
01:13:25wait a minute.
01:13:26Like they just lost everything,
01:13:29but now we're seeing how they pick everything up and we're seeing why
01:13:33she feels the way she does to stay.
01:13:35They're,
01:13:37you know,
01:13:38and again,
01:13:38I think we've all watched episode three of star Wars,
01:13:42revenge of the Sith.
01:13:43And we're all like,
01:13:45wait a minute.
01:13:45So he just turned to the dark side that quickly.
01:13:48Kind of stupid.
01:13:49This she's reading the journals she's reading.
01:13:53And,
01:13:53and again,
01:13:54you would assume she's probably read more of it.
01:13:56And now,
01:13:57I mean,
01:13:58more is going to come out.
01:13:59We'll see.
01:14:00We'll see where it goes.
01:14:01We'll see what happens when the friend shows up.
01:14:03Yeah.
01:14:04For me,
01:14:04it was figuring out the cabins.
01:14:06Like this was my cabin.
01:14:08That was the girl's cabin.
01:14:09So how long had those cabins been around?
01:14:11Because it was clearly when they were kids.
01:14:14Yeah.
01:14:15I guess this is the life.
01:14:16We'll,
01:14:17we'll see how this goes.
01:14:18Cause then now that's the whole thing,
01:14:19right?
01:14:19What,
01:14:20what,
01:14:20this is all about the family.
01:14:22Will they stay?
01:14:23How they're adjusting to the whole thing.
01:14:25Is this going to be,
01:14:27what was it?
01:14:27Another little cool.
01:14:29It was in the barn up top that they had a pool table and a pinball.
01:14:33Oh yeah.
01:14:33And some other stuff,
01:14:33you know,
01:14:34the pinball machine that no one knows.
01:14:36Come on.
01:14:36Who doesn't know?
01:14:37Are you serious?
01:14:38Yeah.
01:14:39I could go.
01:14:39Russell,
01:14:39you ain't that young.
01:14:40Yeah.
01:14:41Oh my Lord.
01:14:42That,
01:14:42that was like,
01:14:43or when they were talking about,
01:14:45uh,
01:14:45what's it?
01:14:45The Egypt and,
01:14:47and the Sphinx and,
01:14:49or something to that effect during the meal.
01:14:51And like,
01:14:51what's that?
01:14:52What's the,
01:14:52I thought you were super smart.
01:14:54These kids,
01:14:55what are you talking about?
01:14:55You don't know what history.
01:14:57And I do like the relationship between Russell and the two little girls.
01:15:02Because,
01:15:03you know,
01:15:04page goes off how like I'm basically their mom.
01:15:07I take him here.
01:15:08I take them there.
01:15:09Hmm.
01:15:10But.
01:15:12Well,
01:15:12one thing,
01:15:13and then we'll just close out,
01:15:14but with,
01:15:16what's his name?
01:15:17The,
01:15:17the Cowboys wife,
01:15:18right?
01:15:19When she did talk about the school,
01:15:20she was like,
01:15:20well,
01:15:21you know,
01:15:21it's a small community.
01:15:22Yeah.
01:15:23It's a small community.
01:15:24So all the kids are in one cabin,
01:15:27you know,
01:15:27different rows.
01:15:28They keep it old school.
01:15:29And then,
01:15:29so the young ones have questions and then the older ones get accustomed to
01:15:32handling young ones and how that works.
01:15:35So I'm wondering if we're going to see this happen with the kids.
01:15:40With Abigail's kids.
01:15:41And they're like,
01:15:41Oh,
01:15:41you know what?
01:15:41While you're out here,
01:15:42I don't put you in for some classes.
01:15:44Are we going to do that?
01:15:46Yeah.
01:15:47And again,
01:15:47because the kids are asked like wondering like,
01:15:49Hey,
01:15:49you know,
01:15:50when are we leaving?
01:15:50And she basically says,
01:15:52you guys want to leave,
01:15:52go,
01:15:53but just know this,
01:15:54this is what I'm doing.
01:15:56So you better get your affairs in order because you ain't going to have
01:15:59these places much longer.
01:16:00She makes them.
01:16:01And that's the crazy part of all this.
01:16:03I can understand Stacey saying,
01:16:04I want to stay here.
01:16:05You mean stay,
01:16:06stay like right now,
01:16:07like you're never leaving or like,
01:16:09let me go back.
01:16:09Let me finish my affairs.
01:16:11Let's get things in order.
01:16:12Let's close things out.
01:16:14And then I'm going to move my stuff here.
01:16:16But she's how I don't think so.
01:16:18I think she makes it seem like,
01:16:19no,
01:16:19that's it.
01:16:20But she says,
01:16:22I'm not going to love again.
01:16:23Yeah.
01:16:24That's the other thing.
01:16:25Never.
01:16:25She basically makes it clear.
01:16:26Like,
01:16:27I don't want anyone else.
01:16:28This is,
01:16:29I want to see everything.
01:16:31He always wanted me to come see everything in this journal.
01:16:35I want to experience because this is the only thing I have left of him.
01:16:39Well,
01:16:40it says he was 64 also,
01:16:41right?
01:16:42I think that was 64,
01:16:4365.
01:16:45Well,
01:16:46we'll see.
01:16:47We'll see.
01:16:48All right.
01:16:48And what about you people?
01:16:49What do you think?
01:16:50Do you like the Madison,
01:16:51which is the name of this ranch area.
01:16:53So for those wondering,
01:16:54that's not their,
01:16:55their surname here.
01:16:56Um,
01:16:57do you like it?
01:16:58Are you watching?
01:16:59Exactly.
01:17:00That's where,
01:17:00there we go.
01:17:01It was like,
01:17:01Oh man.
01:17:01All right.
01:17:02Where do you like the show?
01:17:03Are you going to keep watching it?
01:17:05It's definitely different than Marshall's.
01:17:07I saw a lot of people like,
01:17:08Oh,
01:17:08you know,
01:17:08Taylor's shirt and property of like,
01:17:10Oh,
01:17:10I can't wait for this.
01:17:11Well,
01:17:11it's now we've seen it.
01:17:12It's not a direct spinoff or even connected anyway,
01:17:15besides the Montana.
01:17:17Uh,
01:17:18are you into it?
01:17:19Yeah.
01:17:19At least as we've seen yet,
01:17:22is this what you wanted?
01:17:23This is what you expect.
01:17:24Are you going to keep watching?
01:17:25It's not a hard watch because there's only three more episodes and then that's it.
01:17:28So,
01:17:29uh,
01:17:30I don't see why not watch it,
01:17:32you know,
01:17:32but,
01:17:33uh,
01:17:33so,
01:17:33uh,
01:17:34who knows?
01:17:34Let us know in the comments.
