Huge crowds protest against Trump on 'No Kings' day in the US and abroad

Organisers said the protests may add up to one of the largest demonstrations in US history, with more than 3,100 events taking place in major cities, suburbs and rural areas. They expect the total number of participants to be above nine million.

00:00Millions of people took to the streets across the United States to participate in the more than 3,100 protests
00:07taking place against U.S. President Donald Trump.
00:10The rallies denounced what they described as an authoritarian style of governance by the incumbent administration,
00:16their immigration stance, climate change denial, isolationist foreign policy, and now, the war in Iran.
00:23In New York, thousands gathered to protest against sweeping immigration raids carried out by ICE and called for their abolition.
00:32The rallies even featured a surprise cameo from New York native and Hollywood giant Robert De Niro.
00:38Protests also took place in the capital, Washington, D.C., where hundreds gathered near the White House demanding Trump's ouster.
00:45It's the third time in less than a year these protests, part of a U.S. grassroots movement called No
00:51Kings, take place.
00:52The demonstrations spread across the pond, where thousands of Americans abroad and locals took part in rallies across Europe.
01:00In Paris, protesters called for an end to Trump's quote, reckless, irresponsible, and endless wars.
01:07And in the Italian capital, thousands marched calling for respect of international law and demanding a world free from wars.
