UHV MEETING NBKRIST
Transcript
00:00Now, as an agenda point, I request Dr. Raghavama, the UHV coordinator, NBKRIST, Vijayanagara Tirpati,
00:18give about UHV activities as NBKRIST.
00:29Namaste, Baya.
00:32Namaste.
00:33Let me share.
00:34Namaste.
00:35Let me share, introduce our principal, Baya.
00:42We are also welcome to our principal Srinivas Luogaru.
00:47He expresses his introductory part about your initiative.
00:55Okay.
00:57Sir, good afternoon, sir.
00:59Good afternoon.
01:00I am Srinivas Luogaru principal in charge for NBKRIST of Science and Technology.
01:06Basically, our university curriculum, in the university curriculum itself, UHV course was
01:13introduced for all branches of engineering.
01:16Thanks, Dr. Raghav.
01:17And we are working with the responsibility of providing ethical, making students and the
01:23environment among the faculty to make them ethically responsible, socially conscious and value-driven
01:30professionals through the integration of universal human values in academics and campus life.
01:37So, the idea is basically, once you make the voice overall joining in our institution, being educated with, rather being
01:48inculcated with universal
01:50human values, since they are going to be part of society, it will be easy for us to change the
01:58entire society.
02:02This is the major idea.
02:04And maybe if you try to think about the objectives in brief, to integrate universal human values
02:11into curriculum and teaching learning processes, to develop ethical awareness and professional
02:17responsibility among students, to promote value-based monitoring for students, personal and professional
02:25growth, to encourage student participation in community service, social outreach and environmental
02:32sustainability activities. Basically, to foster a harmonious, inclusive and value-oriented
02:38campus culture.
02:41So, maybe the action plan steps, if you try to refer, there are various steps, starting from
02:47the formation of UHV committee, making a policy document and curriculum integration, conducting
02:54faculty development programs, providing student awareness and engaging them with various activities,
03:01mentoring them and providing value-based activities, maybe providing awareness among them based on value-based activities.
03:13Altogether, community outreach and service learning is going to happen. And value-based campus practices and monitoring them and periodically
03:22reviewing them.
03:24These are all the steps we are planning to implement. So, we believe implementing them is not that easy, but
03:34still we will try our level best too.
03:36Wherever we have got struck, we will try to sit together with the UHV cell. And to the extent possible,
03:43we will try to come out with some solutions.
03:46Wherever we want to have some kind of suggestions and support from your side, we will definitely try to have
03:53interactions with you for getting some solutions out of it.
03:57Maybe the expected outcomes, if we try to brief out development of ethically responsible and value-driven graduates.
04:06Improved social responsibility and community engagement among students.
04:11Creation of a harmonious and inclusive campus environment. Promotion of sustainable and ethical professional practices.
04:20So, the idea is the moment they leave this institute, they should go with some values so that they are
04:27getting into various organizations as a job holder and job seeker.
04:32Altogether, they are going to lie in the society.
04:35We believe that this is going to provide a drastic change in the society.
04:40So, this is what I strongly believe, sir. Thank you, sir. Thank you for giving this opportunity. I request Raghuma
04:49Madam to...
04:55Thank you, Bhaiya. Thank you, Srinivasar sir. Now I welcome Raghuma to elaborate about EHV activities at your institute.
05:06Namaste to all respected members of the University Coordination Committee and Regional Coordination Committee.
05:15A very warm and respectable good afternoon to all of you.
05:20Though we are connected virtually, I feel deeply honored to stand before this distinguished gathering and share our institution's evolving
05:32journey
05:33in implementing universal human values, not merely as a mandate, but as a meaningful movement.
05:43At the outset, I express my sincere gratitude to AICT for conceptualizing universal human values as a foundational framework for
05:56holistic technical education.
05:58UHV, as we understand, is not an additional academic layer.
06:05It is a process of self-exploration guiding students from clarity in thought to harmony in relationship and responsibility in
06:16action.
06:17I extend my heartfelt thanks to our director, Dr. V. Vijay Kumar Reddy, sir, and our principal, Dr. M. Srinivasar,
06:30sir, for their visionary encouragement and for the entrusting me with the responsibility of coordinating the UHV cell.
06:41My profound gratitude to Dr. G. Prashantimaya for her constant mentorship and transformative guidance.
06:53Her support has helped us move from activity-based execution to value-based reflection.
07:01I also respectfully thank Dr. Ishrat Meera Mirjana Didi, Dr. Vanchana Singh, our potential nodal center mentor, Dr. T. Chamundeswari
07:16Didi, and all esteemed UC and RC members name-wise, whose guidance presents our direction.
07:27Respected members, we have firmly initiated UHV cell activities in alignment with AICT guidance.
07:39We began with institutional sensitization because awareness proceeds integration.
07:52We emphasized clearly to our faculty and students that UHV is not about preaching values.
08:04It is about discovering them through dialogue and reflection.
08:13Let me show some pigs.
08:17Let me show some pigs voluntarily participated in ICHVHE from our institute.
08:35Let me switch on the present status of our institution.
08:42One of the most inspiring outcomes is student ownership.
08:50Nearly 150 students voluntarily came forward to form a UHV value team.
08:57Their participation was not instructed.
09:00It was inspired.
09:01To ensure engagement, the team was organized into functional domains, web development, coordination, skill enrichment, and content support.
09:22These participatory structures reflects the core UHV approach of co-creation and experiential learning.
09:35Now, let me move to student involvement.
09:40Our students have actively delivered thematic presentations, performed reflective skits engaged in value-based discussions,
09:55and documented activities through digital media, which activity consciously follow the natural UHV progressive.
10:07Let me share a little sample videos as far as your reference.
10:15Please give me permission for this.
10:20Go ahead, Didi.
10:22Okay. Thank you.
10:42Hi, guys.
10:44Good morning, everyone.

11:12Welcome.
11:12Welcome.
11:13I'll be back.
11:13I'll be back.
11:15Cheat use trace is a very important thing to do.
11:17If you don't trust a discipline or an honest person,
11:20you don't trust yourself without any kind of embarrassment.
11:23The game has been around and the game has been around.
11:26Now, I'm going to take a few examples here.
11:28I'll take a few examples and I'll take a few examples.
11:32Finally, I'll take a few examples.
11:33For example, you are going to use a simple example.
11:35You are going to use a cheat use trace.
11:40The next level is to be honest with you.
11:47I think I am a start-up leader.
11:50But I am doing this as well.
11:54I am doing this as a team.
11:55I am doing this as a team.
11:57I am doing this as a team.
11:57I am doing this as a team.
12:10I am doing this as a team.
12:12I am doing this as a team.
12:12I am doing this as a team.
12:14I am doing this as a team.
12:15I am doing this as a team.
12:17I am doing this as a team.
12:17I am doing this as a team.
12:20I am doing this as a team.
12:21I am doing this as a team.
12:21I am doing this as a team.
12:22I am doing this as a team.
12:24I am doing this as a team.
12:25I am doing this as a team.
12:27I am doing this as a team.
12:30We will be able to get started with the start-up business, games, and fake business.
12:39What do you think about this?
12:42It is important that we have to conduct different types of programs in our college.
12:48For example, NCC, NSS, Blood International,
12:51or any value-based education programs.
12:55We are going to be able to conduct the values of our students to our students.
12:58We are going to be able to take what we have to do.
12:59We are going to be able to get involved in the University of Human Values.
13:04We are going to be able to choose any ideas of our daily life.
13:10We will choose what we have to do and support our moral values.
13:21but now we encourage you to be able to make a scam,
13:22you can use a game that helps you to be able to get a sale and find any hack,
13:24and you can find a game that helps you get back to the game from the new sites.
13:27in order to help you see that yourself,ã‚°ar
13:30a game where you can find the work and find shopping, exactly we
13:35have
13:35to keep having a part of the work on the next day so we
13:41will keep having them
13:42I can't believe the truth, but only I am okay, right?
13:45Okay.
13:46What do you teach when you learn?
13:48Yes.
13:49What do you teach when you learn?
13:50Manitly!
13:52I am an engineer.
13:54I am the only one to say,
13:55I am very powerful.
14:05The city is in Telugu,
14:08can you explain the gist for the benefit of others?
14:18As it is in Telugu, can you explain the gist of this video in few sentences for the benefit
14:25of others? Okay. For reasonable language, I want to share it. The main theme of the video is
14:38how to transfer from technical education to value education. What is the importance of this?
14:46Suppose a candidate is having ethics by birth, just like interpersonal skills we have,
14:55but that was culprited by the neighbors. So, same way, a person who is habituated with other or addicts some
15:07bad habits or playing games or some other, some other. So, by knowing, motivating, observing,
15:15with a friend's collaboration, he may be chances to change, to come back in his or her right path.
15:24That is the gist of the video. Next thing is, from this video, they may be just like a word,
15:33not only engineers, we are the torch bearers. We should help to the society, not only for our sake,
15:40getting package or some other, earning money. We should be useful to the society. Like that, our value should
15:48be imbibed in us. Taking one concept from our UHV themes, they used to make a plan to skit these
15:57dialogues, these skits in regional languages by using AI tools like that.
16:04So, just let me show one sample AI video here, ma'am.
16:17Can I reach, ma'am?
16:20Yes. Hello? Yes. Thank you.
16:51You're welcome.
16:54My name is
16:55My name is
16:55My name is
16:55You're welcome, ma'am.
16:59My name is
17:01You're welcome, ma'am.
17:05My name is
17:05My name is
18:09Priya, code the sensors now.
18:12Vikram, wire the passels faster.
18:15You're not listening.
18:16Panels are overheating without calibration.
18:19Just fix it.
18:20We can't fail.
18:23Meera's team nailed it.
18:25Flawless solar dryer.
18:29How do you do it?
18:32Leadership is about empathy, not bossing people around.
18:42Walk me through your worry.
18:44It's these upcoming exams.
18:45I can't focus on the wiring.
18:47I felt that in quantum circuits.
18:49You lead wiring, I'll debug math.
18:55It's just this error.
18:56I'm feeling the pressure from home.
18:58In engineering, code fails, but empathy compiles every time.
19:05Okay, these videos are only for motivating our children.
19:11Generally, nowadays, students are not interested directly to learn these values.
19:15How the professional students, students, everybody knows.
19:23But just as a sample, there is nothing difficulty when you motivate yourself.
19:30If you have self-exploration, if you observe everything, what are you doing?
19:35What are the good deeds or something, something.
19:37So, to imbibe such a type of qualities with the students, just we made a plan.
19:44Like that, every concept from our five units of second UHV2, we try to make it, by your guidance
19:55and advice, we should follow.
19:57So, next, coming to the next slide.
20:04Awareness leading to relationship.
20:18Awareness leading to relationship.
20:22A relationship leading to right conduct.
20:27Because when understanding becomes clear, conduct becomes spontaneous and responsible.
20:36In alignment with UHV's emphasis on continuous dialogue, we have planned monthly or bi-monthly
20:50enrichment sessions in online and offline modes.
20:53With gratitude to our management, deans, heads and colleagues, we are building a collaborative platform
21:10where technical competence meets ethical clarity.
21:14We firmly believe that values can't be internalized, but it is isolated events.
21:26They evolve through sustained conversations.
21:30Like that, we are making a plan in our institute, based on outer source resources, or if there is any
21:40interest to come here, by request, we are utilizing weekly, monthly, once or twice, just to make a plan for
21:49guest lectures.
21:50Then, like that, we are making a plan, it is only beginning of this UHV set.
21:57Then, let me switch on to outreach programs in henceforth.
22:02Explaining beyond campus boundaries, we are proposing community outreach also.
22:08We have taken the initiatives, visiting nearby schools, colleges, conducting value awareness sessions, promoting health, consciousness, and responsible living.
22:25This aligns beautifully with the expanding circle of harmony, I feel, in UHV, from self to family, from family to
22:37society, society to nature.
22:42Then, coming to the next one, harmony with must radiate outward.
22:47We are also planning a flagship interdisciplinary event titled as Samanbhaya, Harmony through Value Integration.
22:59This initiative will include regional languages expressions, dramatizations, value-based discussions, and creative student presentations,
23:10making UHV-based discussions, making UHV relatable, culturally rooted, and experimental, but this is in progress, just to make a
23:19plan, how to move on.
23:21We are working with that now.
23:24Next thing is, parallelly, we are strengthening digital documentation, structured reporting systems, video archives, and web-based disseminations,
23:37ensuring transparency, sustainability, and scalability, in online mode, especially documentation becomes our institutional memory.
23:51Just, at a glance, please, this is our progressive website.
23:58Let me share that.
24:00It is our progressive that is going on, doing work, process.
24:05Next, coming to the commitments.
24:12Though we are at an initial stage, our roadmap is clear.
24:19Faculty sensitization, structured orientation programs, expanded student engagement, systematic documentation,
24:30gradual institutionalization, gradual institutionalization, of UHV culture, our long-term aspiration is to evolve meaningfully as a strong potential nodal
24:43center,
24:44contributing responsibly to the national mission of value-integrated technical education.
24:53Respected members, universal human values is not an additional component to education.
25:01We believe that.
25:02With the same aim, it is the inner compass that ensures technological progress, does not drift away from human well
25:10-being.
25:11So, I have learned from you such a type of thing.
25:18Though UHV, our students learn not only to, from this UHV values, or not only in core subject, or generally,
25:28practically, or in such a program conductings,
25:31I feel that our students learn not only to design systems, but to design themselves, not only to solve the
25:42problems, but to resolve conflicts harmoniously,
25:47not only to build careers, but to build character.
25:52With our continued mentorship and guidance, we expect to nurture our engineers, our students, who are competent in skill,
26:08clear in understanding, harmonious in relationships, and responsible in society.
26:15Even in this online mode, we feel deeply connected, because harmony is not limited by physical presence.
26:24It is strengthened by shared understanding.
26:29Thank you sincerely for this valuable opportunity, and for guiding us 24 by 7, and also helping us on this
26:41meaningful journey.
26:42Thank you once again.
26:45Namaste to all.
26:48Thank you for your initiation and implementation of various activities for realizing the students and work together as a team
26:59and value-based,
27:00cultivate value-based learning among them.
27:03Thank you for your nice presentation.
27:11Namaste, everyone, and nice to hear Raghavam Madhi, and special congratulations to Srinivasalooji for taking up this initiative.
27:23With your guidance, I believe that the Institute is going to strengthen its base in various UHV activities.
27:31And over this little time, you have been able to put up this much of effort.
27:40So, throughout the year, I believe a very specific consolidation of value-based education will be initiated.
27:52And this responsibility that you have taken as a potential nodal center is really commendable.
28:02So, I congratulate the whole team, and we just hope that in the outreach activities, the participation of the students
28:12and the team members will enhance,
28:16and the spread that we are expecting across the whole neighborhood will definitely take place.
28:25So, hearty congratulations.
28:27And overall, we can see the efforts that you are putting.
28:32Thank you, Didi.
28:34Thank you so much.
28:36Thank you, Geta Didi.
28:40Namaste.
