Thousands of Israelis rallied nationwide on March 28, demanding an immediate end to the Iran war as it entered its 29th day. Major protests in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and Beersheba drew over 45,000 people, organisers said. Demonstrators chanted “Bring the soldiers home” and warned of mounting casualties, economic strain and daily disruptions, as pressure intensifies on the government to halt the conflict and prevent further escalation.

00:19Chaos on the streets of Tel Aviv.
00:22Protesters clashing with police.
00:25Voices rising against the war.
00:27And for the first time, tens of thousands demanding one thing—end this war.
00:34As the war enters its 29th day, Israel is now facing pressure not just from missiles
00:40in the sky, but from anger on the streets.
00:43Thousands gathered in Tel Aviv's Rabin Square, with parallel protests in Jerusalem, Haifa,
00:50and Der Sheba.
00:51The message was loud and unified—bring the soldiers home.
00:55No more endless war.
00:58Organizers say over 45,000 people joined demonstrations nationwide—families of reservations, peace
01:06groups, and anti-government activists now standing together.
01:10Protesters point to the cost.
01:12At least 19 Israelis killed, thousands injured, infrastructure damaged, daily life disrupted,
01:20and an economy under growing strain.
01:23But as crowds grew, so did tensions.
01:26Police moved in to disperse demonstrations.
01:29At least 18 arrests reported.
01:31In some areas, clashes broke out.
01:34Roads were blocked.
01:35Protesters defied orders.
01:37And in Haifa, reports of scuffles between officers and demonstrators.
01:42Authorities say they support the right to protest, but insist it must remain within the law.
01:48Yet for many on the streets, this is about more than just policy.
01:52It's about direction.
01:55I'm here to protest against our government and to stop the war.
02:00Because we are four weeks into the war that nobody actually knows what is the aim of the
02:06war.
02:06Because in the beginning they said we are against missiles, against the nuclear, and maybe to
02:13take down the regime in Iran.
02:14But after two weeks, everybody understood that it's not going to happen.
02:19Others are raising deeper concerns about leadership and accountability.
02:24Obviously, I believe that this war is part of Bibi's game plan.
02:32I don't particularly fear the Iranians.
02:35And I think that he's led the world, or at least the Americans, into a very dangerous situation.
02:41No one thought, how the hell are we going to get out of it, and there's no end in sight.
02:50For many, the fear is not just the war itself, but where it leads.
02:55These protests also reflect a broader frustration over political decisions and long-standing divisions.
03:02What makes this moment significant is the scale and the voices involved.
03:07For the first time, mainstream groups and anti-government movements are joining together.
03:13So as missiles continue to fall, another battle is unfolding.
03:18On the streets, between those demanding security and those demanding an end.
