The story follows a wealthy family in Los Angeles who begins to experience a series of terrifying paranormal events. In desperation to protect their newborn child, they seek help from a young and skilled shaman duo, Hwa Rim and Bong Gil.
Upon arrival, Hwa Rim senses a dark ancestral presence attached to the family, known as a “Grave Calling.” To resolve it, they team up with a top geomancer and a mortician to locate and exhume the ancestral grave.
Their journey leads them to a remote village in Korea, where the grave is hidden in a mysterious and dangerous location. As the exhumation begins, they unknowingly unleash a powerful malevolent force buried deep underground.
Exhuma delivers a chilling supernatural horror experience filled with suspense, ritual, and psychological tension.
