01:07My main concern is the Golden Mile and what we do in there,
01:10because probably most of the gold that we're going to find
01:12is going to come out of there,
01:13but also those pits cannot be left with paying them this year,
01:18and it screws the whole mining plan up if that happens.
01:22So that's my main concern right now,
01:25and I'm probably going to be stepping on Tyson's toes a little bit,
01:29but we just have to stay on top of that.
01:34This season, Parker has foreman Tyson Lee running three wash plants,
01:40with Bob in the bridge cut and Slucifer and Big Red in the Golden Mile,
01:45churning through a combined total of 680 yards of pay dirt an hour.
01:52We have a major problem with the depth of pay,
01:57what's going to happen to us at the end of the season,
02:02and the knock-on effect of what's going to happen to us next year
02:06if we don't get those pits all out, at least out, right?
02:10We don't have to necessarily get them sluiced,
02:13but the dirt can't be in the hole anymore.

02:20and then it's just like the knock-on effect of all of that

12:21time that we've got left in the season and uh you know what we've got to work with there's there's
12:25really no choice there's definitely no guarantee you know that this is going to work but there never
12:29is in mining so it's uh you know he's got to suck it up rick has just six crew and
12:36he's thrown
12:37everyone into trucks to help move the mountain of overburden from his cook heather oh you know just
12:44killing it only two jobs today kitchen in here to his mechanic ryan you know i'm in a truck we're
12:52struggling nobody likes a rock truck if you like a rock truck you're a liar we definitely uh been
12:59waiting a long time of hauling overburden uh just to be able to get pay out which is kind of
13:03a pain in

23:44closest i've ever been to it but

31:54is digging pay dirt in the super pit racing to stay ahead i guarantee you my plant alone does what
32:02two three of those uh macons my dad has does the trommel goes through it like wild
32:18there's no water running through the trommel here i think we might have to shut it down

33:01it's a big mess almost washed out the pump it's a good thing we caught it when we did
33:11if i can actually start sluicing steady for more two hours i don't drink but this
33:16sure is encouraging the behavior hose just ripped itself off it probably because all the weight from
33:24the water and pressure from up top just created enough pressure to rip the hose right off so now
33:30i'm gonna have to disconnect this whole thing i'm gonna have to move a check valve reset up this
33:35whole thing and then i'm gonna have to uh weld the solid steel line
33:41no more around i want a solid pipe because every time something blows off
33:49it's costing me so much time and i am so absolutely sick with this thing
34:00we gotta pick this up we're gonna lift the the check valve
34:08pick that thing up get that out watch fingers oh that might be the problem don't touch nothing yet
34:16shut it shut it off it's on backwards
34:22the check valve was on backwards so here come here i'll show you the check valve
34:29by design is a stop water coming one direction right so
34:35if it's not like this and it's facing this way check valve don't stop except the pump from pumping
34:42the trommel is set up 100 feet high on the hill to protect the pump below from any water backflow
34:50they installed a check valve but it was put on backwards and the pump's 1500 gallon per minute
34:57output built up enough pressure to blow the plastic pipe off and crack it mike needs his crew to put
35:06the
35:06check valve on the check valve on the correct way and replace the cracked pipe with a new metal section
35:12to the pump so he can get back sluicing again if we can take a pipe like this and you
35:18just cut a section
35:19out of it and then it already has the two ends right yeah yeah why don't we take this one
35:39going through the process trying to figure out the angles and then once we get it uh where we need
35:44to be then we'll get a better picture of it there's no real mathematical equation you're just doing it
35:50by fit and feel basically it just takes time
36:01oh you stupid here we go i think we got it okay throw the clamp on

36:13didn't breathe it's on now oh it'll be amazing you know that it's rigid or it's going to hold the

36:54and is now fixed so we should be good for the rest of the season hopefully
