07:39A resilient society is only possible through a secure and healthy flow of information.
07:49To the journalists, thinkers and intellectuals present here today, if I may say,
07:55I want to recall a profound wisdom from our own tradition of statecraft,
08:00attributed to Nizambul, the great wizard of South Pacific Turks.
08:07He says, and I quote,
08:10You can throw a spear or an arrow only to a certain distance.
08:17Its physical impact is limited.
08:22But the reach of a word or text or an idea is boundless.
08:31The question before us is not only how false narratives are collapsing,
08:37it is also narratives we must have built in their place.
08:42In other words, what is our vision for our region and beyond?
08:46This brings us to the final pillar of our team, the search for order and lasting stability.
08:53First of all, we must categorically reject every attempt to make a world permanent condition in our region.
08:59We must reject the defeatist narrative that tells us that violence is inevitable and instability is natural.
09:07We must trust in our own historical depth,
09:12civilizational heritage and capacity to shape our future.
09:17But first, we have to put out the fire.
09:19Peace and security must be restored in our region through the escalation and diplomacy.
09:28That is the urgent task before us.
09:30That is the urgent task before us.
09:32Only then, prosperity can follow, regional cooperation can deepen, stability can expand to us more in wider circles.
09:41That is essentially our guess for a new order in our region.
09:48But it is going to take a different path than the externally imposed models of the past.
09:53It will be built from within the political courage.
09:57It will be built by focusing on the shared interest rather than the short term calculations of those who profit

10:06We know all too well the old food.
10:09Tearing down is the work of a moment, but building is the labor of a generation.
10:14That is why we need to act patiently and steadily with deepening vision of coordination.
10:19One thing is certain, our region will never be the same again.
10:24In fact, recent conflict has already governized a new wave of infra-regional solidarity.
10:32Equally crucial, the conflict has exposed the vulnerabilities of the existing security arrangements in our region.
10:40We all need to embrace the security responsibility of our region because we prosper together when there is a space
10:49and stability, peace and stability.
10:50We all suffer when there is no conflict and stability.
10:56There is conflict and stability.
10:58The bitter lessons of recent history has taught us valuable lessons.
11:03Our region should not be vulnerable to external intervention anymore.
11:09We are seeing this destructive pattern repeat every two decades.
11:14We need to break this vicious cycle with a common vision and joint endeavor.
11:20And we are going to achieve it through regional ownership.
11:25Our sincere desire is to leave tensions behind and expand cooperation that serves the common good for our people in
11:34the region.
11:34Turkey is fully committed to realizing this common vision in a stiflet of true regional solidarity.
