00:01Many of you may have seen my film, Louis Threw Inside the Manosphere, and been shocked by the contents therein,
00:08the extreme influences, the ideologies, the behaviours of the people online, but some of you may also have noticed my
00:18hair is quite weird in parts of it, especially at the back when I enter buildings a couple of times
00:24you can see it's quite patchy.
00:27So I filmed that documentary last year, and that was my hair, I think, at its lowest ebb hitherto. So
00:37the good news is, my hair seems to be growing back. Not all of it, but much of it, it's
00:44better than it was.
00:44So it's more than a year, or about a year in fact, since I last updated you about alopecia, this
00:53condition that I've been diagnosed with, an autoimmune disease that leads to your hair falling out in patches or lesions,
01:00as they're called.
01:02And this is me saying, surprise, surprise, it seems to have got better. What have I done? Nothing. I've made
01:08no interventions. I've taken no drugs. I haven't changed my diet. I don't feel like I'm less stressed, more stressed.
01:16I'm going to put it down to just the vagaries, the mysteries of life and the human condition. I am
01:23grateful that it's better. I take nothing for granted. I'm pleased that I have hair.
01:28You can see the sides and even the back. I'm going to swivel around. You can see a little bit
01:33there. It's still a bit funny.
01:36So there's bigger things in the world than this, I realise, but some of you may have alopecia and it
01:42is stressful and some of you may just have questions about my alopecia. So I hope I've answered some of
01:47them.
