00:49And we've talked about it.
00:51My wife actually said, you know, Brooke could be an executive anyway.
00:55That doesn't mean you're leaving, okay?
00:57But when I had a chance, I said, what about Department of Agriculture?
01:01I had no idea that she has, like, a Ph.D. in agriculture.
01:05She went to school on agriculture.
01:07I would have put her there, even if she didn't.
01:09But she's so highly trained, and she loves it.
01:12And she loves the farmers, just like I do.
01:14And ranchers and everybody else having to do with this very special world that you live in.
01:19And Brooke has really been a star.
01:21And I want to thank you very much and say a few words.

01:31Sir, the first thing I want to say is when we had that unexpected conversation about this
01:38job, November 21st of 2024, I've often said that sometimes you have plans for yourself,
01:48but then God and Donald Trump redirect your plan.
01:52One year in, I can't tell you the honor, the joy, the blessing of getting to fight every day.
02:04There is no better job than this.
02:06Even President, I believe, there is no better job than being your 33rd Secretary of Agriculture.
02:16And I just, President, Mr. President, thank you for your trust.
02:20It's just incredible.
