00:00Tom is dealing with specifically some major obstacles of just trying to provide for everybody
00:07in this town. The prospectors have arrived and he views the prospectors as pests or locusts as he
00:14calls them because you know they're coming here looking to get rich quick and as the season goes
00:20on they begin encroaching on his land more and more and then the biggest you know obstacle really
00:29is that Rebecca arrives and opens a boarding house and gives them comfort the comfort he doesn't think
00:36that they deserve. I think you'll find that Alexander comes out here first and foremost to do a job
00:41he is put into a tough spot where he's been sent to a land where there is no law and
00:48he has to
00:49establish law. Throughout the journey he also gets a little distracted by distracted from his task
00:56maybe and and the frontier and the adventure they're in by a lovely lady in town who has caught
01:04his eye. Olivia has two kind of big big arcs this season the first being her art and her kind
01:12of
01:12growth as an artist and stepping into kind of pursuing that dream of hers you know in a time
01:19where things were a lot more pragmatic and being an artist wasn't really I mean even still it's a
01:23really hard thing to do. Other big story arc this season is a love triangle between Olivia Clayton the
01:30blacksmith and Alexander Vaughn our new Mountie and so there's a lot of fun stuff there.
