00:00Paul, Zach Metza sent to Rochester.
00:02Do you feel like that's a – I don't want to say permanent.
00:06Is that like a back-and-forth move?
00:08Is there a reason to make that move that makes sense?
00:11Like there's no roster limit now, right?
00:14I don't know.
00:14How do you see Metza being sent down?
00:17I didn't see that coming, even though Timmons, I thought,
00:20played his best game as a Sabre coming back the other night.
00:25For whatever reason, they don't give Metza a chance to kill penalties.
00:28I think he'd be fine at it.
00:30But he – where Timmons is like a very, very good penalty killer
00:36and came back and played a good game five-on-five also,
00:40but it was only one game.
00:43So, you know, I think they thought, well, Timmons played really well.
00:48He's back into the swing of things.
00:51We're going to use him probably because of penalty killing.
00:55And why have Metza just sitting here?
00:58So you can always bring him back.
01:00And I think if, like, the defense doesn't get hurt right now,
01:05like the guys you see out there, which I think will be Timmons,
01:08and nobody gets hurt, I don't think he'll be back until the Amherst are done.
01:12I think if somebody gets hurt, he will be back and probably playing.
01:17So I think that that was what Yarmulkeke aligned and decided,
01:21that he got a chance to see Timmons play.
01:24He liked what he saw.
01:24He's a penalty killer.
01:25So he's going to play.
01:27Do you almost feel like even though he's not here anymore because he's the guy
01:30that can go down, he still would be their seventh defenseman?
01:35Like, basically I'm asking you, like, how buried is Kesselring right now that even
01:39though Metza's not here, he's still behind Metza in the pecking order, right?
01:43I would think so.
01:44Yeah, I would think so.
01:46So we know Lindy Ruff likes Metza.
01:48He's talked about it many times and then put him in the lineup ahead of Kesselring
01:52and Shen, and for the five games I believe he played with Stanley,
01:58I thought they played well together.
02:00And, again, Metza still, I mean, he leaves with, hasn't allowed a goal,
02:06has not been on the ice for a goal since October.
02:09I mean, that's still in effect.
02:10That hasn't changed.
02:12And has only been on the ice for two goals against all year.
02:15So, you know, those numbers are still there and still very impressive.
02:20You know, but my guess is, and, you know, Lindy Ruffell talked today,
02:29my guess is that penalty killing had something to do with that decision.
