00:18June 2023, and ever since, fans have been dying for updates. Filming has not started yet, but in
00:26October 2025, Bette Midler revealed something exciting. She has actually seen a script. While
00:34it is not the final version, she said it was brilliant, and got her very excited to return.
00:39As of now, Disney has not announced an official release date. Considering production has not begun,
00:462026 feels unlikely. Using the timeline of Hocus Pocus 2, which filmed in late 2021, and premiered
00:54in 2022, the earliest possible release could be Halloween 2027. Fingers crossed we do not have
01:01to wait that long. Let us talk about who is coming back. Honestly, it is impossible to imagine this
01:07movie without the Sanderson sisters. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, all three
01:14have expressed interest in returning, and Sarah Jessica Parker even said they have had some promising
01:19conversations about it. Whitney Peake, Melissa Becibedo, and Lilia Buckingham. The young witches
01:27from Hocus Pocus 2 are also open to returning. Whitney even teased that her character might take on a
01:33darker turn if a third movie happens. Plus, Hocus Pocus 2 director Ann Fletcher is back to direct again.
01:40A few original stars from the 1993 classic have hinted they would love to join too. Omri Katz,
01:49Vanessa Shaw, and Jason Marsden have all said they would return if Disney called. So it is possible
01:55we might see the original crew reunite after all these years. Now, what could Hocus Pocus 3 be about?
