00:00If you thought the hive mind virus in Pluribus was wild, just wait, season two is coming, and it's about to get even crazier.
00:07Pluribus has taken Apple TV by storm with its mind-bending sci-fi concept and powerhouse performances.
00:13For anyone who hasn't jumped in yet, Pluribus stars Rhea Sehorne as Carol Sterka,
00:18a jaded novelist who survives a global hive mind virus that connects everyone on Earth in a seemingly perfect harmony.
00:24But as the first season showed, this utopia hides a dark, twisted reality beneath the surface.
00:30The show has also marked a major comeback for Carolina Widra, who plays Zosia, Carol's hive mind handler.
00:37Widra hadn't acted in five years before landing this role. Talk about a comeback story.
00:41So what's next for Pluribus?
00:43Season two is definitely happening.
00:45Apple TV ordered two seasons right from the start, back in September 2022,
00:50skipping the pilot phase entirely thanks to Vince Gilligan's reputation from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.
00:56Filming for season two isn't expected to begin until spring 2026, and with the show's ambitious stunts and complex set pieces,
01:04post-production will take time.
01:06That means we're likely looking at a release window in autumn or winter.
01:102027, definitely a long wait, but the payoff should be worth it.
01:15As for the cast, Rhea Sehorne is confirmed to return as Carol Sterka,
01:19and Carolina Widra will reprise her role as Zosia.
01:23The rest of the main cast from season one, Carlos Manuel Vezga, Miriam Shore, and Samba Shuda are expected to return as well.
01:30After the apocalyptic events of season one, Carol and Zosia are left with a small group of independent survivors,
01:37and the direction of their journey is still a mystery.
01:40Rhea Sehorne has said she hasn't even read the season two scripts yet,
01:43and wants to be surprised, like the rest of us.
01:46She hopes to keep exploring Carol's complexity as an everyman hero in a sci-fi world,
01:51making her choices relatable even when they're far from heroic.
01:55Pluribus has already earned major acclaim, including two Golden Globe nominations,
01:59and is considered one of Apple TV's most acclaimed originals.
02:02There's no trailer for season two yet, but expect updates as filming gets underway.
02:07If you haven't watched Pluribus yet, now's the time stream it on Apple TV
02:11and see why everyone's talking about this groundbreaking sci-fi series.
