00:04so over here in powerpoint let me just go ahead and insert a few pictures so i'm just going to
00:10go around over here onto insert picture let me just go to stock images right here so that i can
00:16load up some stock images let's just go ahead and select a few images and insert it out right here
00:22then you got four images as you can see i may not want to use everything full screen so let's
00:28just
00:28go ahead and then keep it out in slide just like this so now once that is done i'm going
00:34to go around
00:35onto file and save this out right here on my desktop right here just like this so once i do
00:42that what
00:42happens is that i will see my presentation let's see the size of it so i'm just going to go
00:47around
00:48over here and go to properties and once i do that you can see it is five megabytes right here
00:54so if
00:55you keep on adding more pictures it'll be much more larger so the smart a smart thing well to do
01:01would be to compress pictures so that it won't take up much space so some pictures you may want
01:06it high quality some pictures you may want it compressed so for that you can select the picture
01:11that you want to compress let's say i don't need much detail on any of these pictures so i'm going
01:16to go to picture format for it and then here you can see that compressed picture is an option go
01:22ahead
01:22and click and then you can choose the size that you want let's say i want it barely uh let's
01:28say
01:28for example very high quality i don't need very high quality so i'm going to select um email uh size
01:36right here you can delete the cropped areas of the picture as well if there's any and you can see
01:41that
01:41it says only apply to this picture so i'm just going to go ahead and keep it as it is
01:45press ok right
01:46here i'm going to go ahead and do the same for every uh other so you can compress this picture
01:52i can also select uh uncheck it so that it gets applied to all the pictures as well so this
01:59one
01:59let's say this is going to be email format this one is going to be a bit more high quality
02:04web format
02:04because of its details and this one as web format as well so now once i do that let's just
02:10go ahead
02:11and save it and now let's see its file size so if i were to go to more option you
02:16can see that
02:17instead of five megabytes now it is only taking 318 kilobytes right here which is drastically smaller
02:25than what we started with and if you were to see the quality of the image you don't really notice
02:31the
02:31difference at all so this is basically how you can go ahead and compress out pictures manually one by
02:37one in powerpoint so hope you found this video useful be sure to hit the like button don't forget
02:44to share this out with your friends and family and for more contents like these do follow simple tutorials
