00:04So over here you can see that I have a PowerPoint slide opened up. And let's say in order to
00:10go
00:10ahead and maintain a balanced visual, I want to add in alignment guides. So to do that,
00:17you can actually go to view and then you can enable guides and you'll see the dotted line
00:22right here. You can go ahead and click and drag it out as you want. You can right click on
00:27the guide
00:28and add in, let's say for example, a vertical guide, click and drag it over here on the right.
00:33Right click, add another vertical guide and drag it over here on the right. You can go ahead and add
00:38a horizontal guide as well. Let's say for example, and then simply add it as you want right here,
00:44just like this. So let's just go around over here, add in a horizontal guide right here,
00:49just like this. Go around, add a horizontal guide, and this is what you have. You can see that
00:54everything is balanced. So now apart from that, what you can also do is utilize ruler. So the ruler
01:00pops up over here on the top and left, and then you can actually go ahead and utilize the guide
01:05as per the ruler. Let's say for example, I'm going to see, I'm going to drag it right around over
01:10here,
01:10and then I'm going to go ahead and drag it right around over here to maintain out the exact section
01:16right here by actually measuring out what I have. So now as you have the guides, what you can actually
01:22do now is, let's say for example, if you were to go ahead and insert out some shapes for your
01:27presentation, then this acts as a guide. So you can go ahead, press ctrl c and v, let's say for
01:33example,
01:33and keep it exactly right here. And as you do that, you can see that they are all balanced right
01:41here. And that is what the guides actually help you to do. So if I were to actually go around
01:47over
01:47here onto view, and I disable out the ruler and guides, you can see that everything is balanced
01:53out right here just like this. And that is basically how we can go ahead and use out the alignment
01:59guides
02:00inside a PowerPoint. So I hope you found this video useful. Be sure to hit the like button.
