00:00did you guys ever see yourselves doing horror or is this something you would ever do again
00:04i would definitely do it again oh yeah now i'm in it's my favorite genre for sure it wasn't my
00:10favorite genre at all it was probably my least favorite genre before i signed on to this project
00:14so through this project i've developed like a newfound love for the genre and interest in
00:20genre and now i'm like yeah catching up on all the films i missed i like how athletic and like
00:25physical horror can be you know it's it's an endurance sprint or something it's like a marathon
00:31or something and it really you know like you were saying earlier it's just kind of like the peak of
00:36acting where it's like you're in the craziest scenarios and trying to ground them and make them
00:41real which is like a fun challenge as well but you previously mentioned camilla that playing this role
00:48took somewhat of a toll on you could you talk a little bit about your experience playing rachel
00:52yeah i think it took a toll on me because i was playing someone who was just like so heightened
00:59and the anxiety was so heightened and the stakes are so high being in that kind of manic uh
01:06frantic state emotional state for so many months of filming was just it really kind of caught up to me
01:12and um the days of like comedy and whenever we would get to have like a nice scene that wasn't
01:19about
01:19death was like such a relief for me because you know you have to i'm not like method in any
01:24capacity
01:24but like when you are on set you do have to kind of stay in the world of your character
01:28and and what
01:29she's going through and it's like really uh particular circumstances that like not no one can relate
01:35to cami's like truly like steering the the ship of of the you know of the cast and like if
01:43she
01:43falls asleep at the wheel we're gonna break into a million pieces and be shipwrecked and stuff and
01:49you know you could not yeah yeah you're burning the midnight oil and yeah it's like every scene
01:54of this thing so yeah it's a pretty big undertaking it was but it was worth it all i love
01:59the family
01:59dynamics with the cunninghams i thought it was really interesting but you guys can correct me if i'm wrong
02:04but did it ever cross your mind that maybe jules was going to be rachel's soulmate at some point it
02:09did
02:09when i was reading it i thought about that at one point i have not never thought about that until
02:13today he was there at your birth wasn't he yes but i just didn't connect those dots and now i've
02:18got
02:18friends who've watched the show and they're all like i have a theory that you end up with jules and
02:22he's your soul yeah i definitely had that thought when reading it too yeah um i was so in love
02:28with
02:28you i wasn't able to think of anyone else oh thank you what was it like working with victoria pedretti
02:36did you guys get to work with her at all directly never met her and never met her yeah you
02:41don't
02:41never met her saw her at the premiere i was like you're amazing but she's amazing yeah to come in
02:46on a hat like half an episode is really challenging because you're like in this show that's already
02:51got its movement going its thing going and you're just coming in for this part so it's like really
02:55hard to just come in and integrate and she just did such a great job in that and logan too
02:59yeah shout
03:00out logan yeah they both really it was such a fun capsule episode i thought they both i loved the
03:07flashback killed it what is he gonna do come on we're safe in here it's like he's gonna poison us
03:12okay look if he's gonna poison us i'll i'll eat both of them no no no no no no no
03:17i don't want to
03:18end up a widow i don't want to raise this baby by myself i was worried about it when i
03:22read it in the
03:23script because i just think it's always very hard to do flashbacks well in a series and i just think
03:28like oh what's an innovative cool way to like take us out of uh current day and i thought it
03:32was
03:33done so well with that camera yeah it's the vhs i was super shocked to see her like as soon
03:37as it
03:37showed her face i was like no way perfect casting yeah right isn't she great yeah yeah she's perfect
03:42casting and then the finale i mean it's revealed that rachel doesn't even drink the potion at the end
03:47after all the work that she put into it the only certainty in life is death
03:59so certainty
04:03so what do you think is going through her mind in that moment where she just decides not to go
04:07through
04:07the ritual i think she wants to put her faith in nikki and in their love and give them the
04:12benefit
04:12of the doubt and give this love the benefit of the doubt and like really commit to him and like
04:16that's her way of sacrificing and saying like i i love you and i know i love you and i'm
04:20gonna go
04:20for this she's also probably i mean not to speak about your character yeah she's also probably thinking
04:26like damn i wish i kept my pinky toe on yeah she's like all this for nothing that was my
04:31first thought
04:32too was it really damn guys she's going through it she's trying i know you guys mentioned at the q
04:38and a this week that haley gave you guys a list of movies to watch to prep for the show
04:42do you guys
04:43have any recommendations for fans of the show that they should watch from that list or any favorites
04:49i'm gonna go with birth my favorite one for the list yeah your fave the only one um wicker man
04:54is
04:54really cool because it was the the bride effigy is inspired by that and kind of that that scene the
04:59original wicker man i thought was really cool and um just a really scary movie that destroyed me was
05:05funny games but there's also a movie that i really love that um is called everybody hates me
05:10and i think that it really represents like rachel's paranoia like she thinks the world is like out to
05:16get her and to harm her and everyone is dangerous and they all hate her and family's not liking her
05:21and um no one believes her and she feels like an outcast and that movie's like really perfect for
05:26that can i give a shameless plug also uh undertone would be a nice side to this you can't just
05:32put a
05:32movie and just because you're at it at the moment it's in theaters okay but also a24 undertone go watch
05:37yes thanks
