The Toybox (2018) is a supernatural horror film directed by Tom Nagel. The story follows a family who sets out on a road trip in a newly purchased used RV, hoping for a fresh start. The group includes Charles (Denise Richards’ father-in-law in the story, played by Mischa Barton’s character’s family), along with Jennifer (Mischa Barton) and her young son.
As they travel through the desert, strange mechanical failures and eerie events begin to occur. The RV appears to have a sinister past, and one by one, the passengers fall victim to an unseen force inside the vehicle. Trapped and isolated, the group realizes the RV itself may be possessed.
Tension builds as paranoia and fear take over, leading to a desperate fight for survival against a supernatural presence they cannot escape.
