Loogy wonders if Judge has a carryover from his flop in the WBC final.
Transcript
00:00Yankees with a rocking chair, feet up, dominating win over the Giants.
00:06But it wasn't a complete success.
00:12Aaron Judge did have a game to forget.
00:17A historically bad game.
00:200-5, four strikeouts.
00:24Became the first MVP, reigning MVP, to have that type of performance on opening day.
00:33And I wonder out loud, we'll monitor, it's only one game, but I wonder out loud if this is a
00:40hangover for Aaron Judge from the World Baseball Classic.
00:44Judge took a lot of heat for Team USA losing, especially his final at bat where he kept the bat
00:51on his shoulders.
00:53And I wonder out loud if it's gotten to him mentally, the struggles that he's had in October.
01:00He's going to have a phenomenal year, we know that.
01:02Because he's top three in baseball.
01:10And on any given day, he's the best player.
01:14But, there might be a little of a hangover here.
01:18Mentally, it might be wearing on him.
01:220-5, four strikeouts on a night where the Yankees score seven, they have ten hits, everybody's chipping in, and
01:30the captain did nothing.
01:32Now, it's great for the Yankees because you have a game like this from Judge and you still win comfortably.
01:37So that says a lot about their team and their offense.
01:39But individually, you've got to wonder a little bit if Aaron Judge is feeling the effects of another failure in
01:49the big spot.
01:49And if that will carry over to start the season.
