00:01TikTok is where lots of people get information, and currently there is talk about seed oils.
00:07But what is the truth?
00:08Seed oils like canola oil that are used at home are not usually an issue.
00:14Registered dietician Maddie Pascarello told HuffPost,
00:18The amount you're cooking with at home is likely much more negligible,
00:21and you're unlikely to experience poor health simply because this is one ingredient you use in cooking.
00:28Healthy fats like walnuts and fish are better for you, but the use of some seed oils is not totally
00:34bad.
00:35Dr. Linda Hsu told HuffPost,
00:43Harvard's Guy Crosby agrees, cooking with seed oils at home isn't an issue.
00:49So it sounds like a little canola oil at home isn't that big of a deal, even if TikTok disagrees.
