04:46...missing the three there, Powell...
04:48...and Bajemski headed the other way.
04:52And Draymond running the four, nice lead from Guy Santos.
04:55That's one thing you guys try to use in this game.
04:57Use your speed, see if you can get up and down before the defense is set.
05:01This isn't a great defense, but you can help it.
05:04Get out of the transition, you don't want to sit in the half court.
05:06We'll have to try to execute.
05:07You said at the top of the telecast, when a team is lost like Brooklyn,
05:10get them into the here-we-go-again mode.
05:13The longer they stay in the game, the more their belief system grows,
05:16and I'll tell you, Isaiah Williams, we saw him in Memphis.
05:19The one year at Stanford, the 10th pick in 2021.
05:21He was bouncy early.
05:23You know he's live, and he's a good cutter.
05:25Moves well without the ball, so you got to see man and ball.
05:29Draymond trying to set up that split action.
05:30He's got Saurabh there, and up under arms, he will pick up the foul.
05:34So, when you have this many rookies playing in the game,
05:38you think about the Nets actually just recently passing the Hornets
05:41for most minutes by rookies played this season.
05:45Draymond's going, listen, I got some rookies on me.
05:48I got these young guys.
05:49Let me see if I can teach them a lesson,
05:50show them the tricks I have up my sleeve, come up under arms,
05:53see if you can draw some fouls.
05:54They will foul you.
05:54That's one of the struggles.
05:55Yeah, the average age there.
05:57Who has to count all those days, by the way?
05:59Three on 47 days.
06:02Round, round up 24 and 29.
06:04Let's just know your role.
06:06Be faithful in it.
06:06They were.
06:07GP2 checking in.
06:08Porzingis rimming that out.
06:10So, man will push it back the other way.
06:14Set Ty Williams, but Porzingis is denied him twice at the rim,
06:18and he's just backing up.
06:19He knows he's coming to him.
06:20You got to make sure.
06:21Dampy Mel just kind of struggled with some of these telegram passes.
06:25And Saroff throws the Warriors out, missing that layup.
06:28You just want to throw a ball fake if you can.
06:30All the principles he would use against any good team, they apply here.
06:38Especially from the start.
06:39Get off to a good start.
06:40See if you can build a big lead.
06:41Yeah, that three guys deal with Porzingis on one side.
06:44Leap for Jenski open, but missing that three.
06:50The Warriors same thing as in Dallas.
06:52Skits shots off goal.
06:54Porzingis with a good closeout.
06:56GP2, eight straight games, a double-figure scoring for Gary.
06:59He's getting amazing.
07:01Oh, Jenski.
07:03He just caught an edge on that shoe and appears to be okay.
07:07Paz is the only Warrior that's playing every game this year.
07:11You don't want to see him go down.
07:14And for three.
07:15This is how they do.
07:16They're not a good three-point shooting team, so you can gap a good amount of these guys.
07:20They're not a good shooting team, period.
07:2230th in the league.
07:24For the poorest shooting team.
07:27Jenski, 5-3.
07:28And you're just looking at Terrence Mann, who was in held position in the paint.
07:32So you can skip it across.
07:34Warriors have had some success with those skip passes.
07:37Yeah, the Warriors are four of eight shooting.
07:38It's the three turnovers.
07:39You don't want that.
07:42Porzingis, he took away the roller.
07:43And that's just allowed Claxton to sneak in.
07:46Terrence Mann drew him in.
07:48He came off of that ball screen and waited until Porzingis committed to him.
07:52And he just threw it around.
07:53That's why you've got to help the helper get someone else in there.
07:55Clog up the paint.
07:56Because again, they're not a good three-point shooting team.
08:01He was fouled in the process.
08:06Yeah, he's going up, Powell.
08:07Another one of these young guys.
08:09He's got a seven-foot wingspan.
08:10Super bouncy.
08:11But Warriors up three early.
08:18Bobblehead, by the way.
08:19I like it.
08:20With a Warrior lead.
08:2110-7 inside of seven minutes.
08:23The first mandatory.
08:24Look at the flag.
08:26There it is.
08:27Nice.
08:27Presenting the defense.
08:28D.R.
08:28How many bobbleheads do you get with a flag draped over their shoulders?
08:31Very solid.
08:32I like that.
08:33And that one actually looks like Al a little bit, too.
08:35It does.
08:35Or it may look like Jerry Stackhouse.
08:37One or the other.
08:39Our Kia player profile.
08:41We've talked about Brandon Pajemski.
08:44Not only his first 2010-06 game, but without Steph and melting in and out and not having Jimmy,
08:52that's a hell of a month for Pods because he was by his lonesome on a lot of those nights.
08:56He's got a lot of tools.
08:57I love his rebounding.
08:58You love the ten rebounds there.
09:00And he's only going to get better with his decision-making down the stretch.
09:04But that's one of the things that's come of this season, especially in this stretch where you're so short-handed,
09:09is the wonderful experience for guys.
09:11Yeah.
09:11Put them in these situations where they have to make those decisions, work through their mistakes.
09:15And Dante Melton, he's looking to have a bounce-back game because zero points against the Mavs.
09:20That's his first zero-point game as it started in over three years, I believe.
09:26And so he's wanting to come out and just get super aggressive.
09:30He's going at Powell, another rookie.
09:31A lot of these rookies, you can kind of teach them a lesson, go pump fake, show your patience there,
09:35come up on the arms, draw fouls against this young team.
09:38So Melton hitting both free throws, he's got five here.
09:42That last shot of our Warrior bench, can I just speak something into existence?
09:46I want Steph and Seth to play together.
09:48I know we've got ten games left.
09:52But if they could get healthy, just to see them play one game, two games, however the games together,
09:58I know they both want it, and I'm here for it, and I want to see it.
10:02Sitting on the bench together is fun, but not as fun as playing a game.
10:05Steph is actually like what the answer is, like we've been the rehab brothers.
10:08We want to get on the court together and get some assists to each other and vice versa.
10:13I mean, think about Steph, the joy and the pride he's going to have when he throws a pass to
10:18Seth Curry,
10:18knocks down to three, and the other way around too.
10:21He had a foul on LJ prior before the ball was inbounded, so that'll be a free throw plus possession
10:26for Brooklyn.
10:28Now, LJ, I'm going to, you know, the foul was on him, but I'm still going to show him love.
10:33Houston, well, six times.
10:35LJ Cryer is second in the league of all rookies who have taken more than 50 threes.
10:40He's at 46%.
10:42He's, this isn't just like a nice little game or two story.
10:45He is bombing.
10:46He's playing with a lot of confidence.
10:48There's not a ton of guys in this league.
10:50There's a handful of guys that can do it, but come off of those ball screens and shoot threes off
10:55the drill
10:55when your defender goes under.
10:56He's so confident doing that.
10:58He does it every time that he should because he shoots a great percentage.
11:01Drake Powell, shot clock at five, working on G. Santos.
11:06Powell with the fadeaway, can't play any better than Madden.
11:10Cryer will want that rebound back.
11:12See, Drake Powell is one of these two-way wing prospects.
11:15He's got that seven-foot wingspan, and he's got a big-time vertical.
11:19He's really explosive, but he can guard multiple positions there.
11:23They do have a lot of wings on this team that, well, have a high end.
11:26He's on the upside.
11:27They had five number ones.
11:28He was taken 22nd.
11:31So there was no possession here.
11:33There's only six tenths to shoot because they said Cryer didn't possess the ball.
11:37So no change of possession here.
11:40Someone's got to take the ball in bounds.
11:43You know what?
11:44We're still trying to figure this out.
11:45Our staff man extraordinaire, Dave Feldman, brought up something in the Dallas game that I'd omitted.
11:49You know, with six tenths like this, there's no goaltending and there's no basket interference.
11:54You can actually kind of, no, you can't put the baseline, but you could shoot the ball towards the rim.
11:59We see that?
12:00Yeah.
12:01I think in the finals, Milwaukee Phoenix, remember that?
12:04And at the iron there, but I was thinking about, I should have mentioned that in the Warrior game,
12:09even Dallas, they could shoot that right at the rim and there's no violation.
12:13DeSantos, that is a violation.
12:15You can't step on the baseline.
12:17The Warriors trying to exploit that switch there, and he got his defender switched on to him.
12:20He's on his back, but a little too much momentum going towards the baseline here.
12:24So that's four turnovers.
12:26You're at it again.
12:28An arch man picked up the dribble.
12:30The only zone the Warriors are.
12:32Watch out for that middle.
12:33It's Claxton.
12:33He smothered Claxton.
12:35Now, Claxton, Ed Molloy is going to overrule.
12:37This is an offensive foul because Claxton turned and caught Pajemski right in the face.
12:42And I think that should happen any time the Nets get the ball inside because they're not a great team.
12:48You should collapse on that.
12:49You should try to clog up everything in the paint.
12:51Claxton doesn't like it, but look at where Pajemski is.
12:54He's used to sticking his nose in there literally all the time
12:59and taking shots to the stars and just acting like nothing happened.
13:04But he has to have the strongest nose ever created.
13:07That elbow, any elbow to the face in this league.
13:12Odds there and watered a little contact.
13:14GP2, play 2, got the rebound.
13:17Brandon on a reload, 3, credit, GP2.
13:20Oh, they've struggled a little bit when it comes to defensive rebounding as well.
13:25So, you want to see if you can take advantage of that.
13:27Shoot in there.
13:27If you get a miss out, get the offensive rebound back in the zone.
13:33Powell out of North Carolina.
13:35Set up Sarraf out of Israel.
13:37It makes a lot of sense.
13:39If a team can shoot threes, go zone.
13:41Nice finish there.
13:42And you just saw that, okay, don't buy the show and go
13:46because they're not going to settle from being very often.
13:49And Powell isn't afraid to drive against the zone.
13:51That's one thing sometimes teams forget about.
13:54You're in a zone.
13:54You're going against the zone.
13:55You just throw the ball around the perimeter.
13:56I know someone's got to drive and break the paint.
14:00Pajemski wheeling inside, but knocked away.
14:02That's five Warrior turnovers.
14:04And a pretty sloppy first quarter.
14:07And you'll have the foul on the drive there.
14:10Yeah, that's one of the things they've been doing much better lately
14:12is forcing turnovers.
14:15Offensively, they struggle so much there.
14:17They're last in the league in scoring.
14:19And they need that.
14:20They need to force turnovers to create some extra possessions,
14:23give themselves some more opportunities.
14:25And I said jump on them early because they've been getting outscored
14:28in this eight-game losing streak they've had.
14:31They've been getting outscored by an average of 18 points in the first half.
14:35So this is, you're trying to jump on it early, but the turnovers aren't helping.
14:42So a couple free throws here.
14:51And the net out.
14:54Warrior Community Foundation auction is open.
14:56This month, the NBC's inaugural The Rock, signed by the entire Warrior team.
15:01You can bid on it today.
15:03All proceeds support the foundation to positively impact youth organizations in the Bay.
15:07Warriors.com slash auction.
15:09I'm going to bid on The Rock.
15:11Okay.
15:12Take his rock.
15:13Everybody who signed, signed that thing.
15:15I love that.
15:16It's a valuable rock.
15:20So one of two for Zaire Williams.
15:23Josh Minot has checked in.
15:26Josh Minot can shoot it.
15:27He's one of the few guys.
15:2844% from three-pointer age.
15:31Omar here at seven.
15:33Playing with L.J.
15:34Cryer, Peyton Kajemski, and Guy Santos.
15:37Okay.
15:38That is six Warrior turnovers right now.
15:41Again, here's a fundamental thing.
15:43Ball thing.
15:43Fake low to go out.
15:45And Zaire Williams is fouled.
15:46So, I mean, if you're the Warriors, and you have a team that has lost eight in a row,
15:53and it's not playing a full roster, you just cannot have these empty possessions.
15:57And you just struggle to keep your body in between Williams and the basket,
16:02and he's cutting and moving without the ball.
16:04And that's one thing you've got to give this next team credit.
16:07When they do score, they're one of the best assist percentage teams.
16:11Like, usually they score with an assist.
16:13Now, they're 23rd in assists overall, and it's kind of the biggest discrepancy you'll see
16:17because they're the worst scoring team in the league.
16:18So, if you don't score, there's not going to be an assist.
16:20But when they do score, they're one of the best assist percentage teams.
16:24And it's actually pretty impressive.
16:25They're seventh there.
16:26Usually a team with a bunch of young players, everybody's got their own agendas.
16:30They're all trying to do it on their own sometimes,
16:33especially when you're on a bad team.
16:35But Jordy Fernandez has them kind of trusting each other.
16:39When they do score, they do it together.
16:41Zaire Williams has been living at the line here.
16:43He's already had six free throws.
16:44But you do not want to be most in the NBA in turnovers and points off turnovers.
16:50In the last six games.
16:53And we can't get the graphic up before there's the seventh turnover.
16:58It is.
17:01This Brooklyn baller on turnovers just wanted to just do the same and give it right back.
17:05You know, it is like, when you're going up against a team like this,
17:09the Nets, you know they've struggled.
17:10Sometimes you just forget your fundamentals and you start getting a little bolder than middle.
17:15You almost turned it over again.
17:17He stepped in bounce.
17:19Matt Spencer will run that down.
17:20Sometimes you forget your fundamentals.
17:22You forget the ball fake.
17:23And this next team will take advantage.
17:26They're just trying to play spoiler and, you know, take it free swing.
17:29A bunch of young guys getting great experience shooting for the fences.
17:32Now Joey Santos...
17:36A little, uh, George Michen banked in hook shot.
17:39But at least it's a shot on goal.
17:41A little Kareem Abdul-Jabbar there.
17:43Here we go.
17:44Look at that footwork, though.
17:45A little step through in the hoop.
17:46His pivot game is so good.

30:3925th to personal fouls so they're gonna foul. They're a young team.
30:42But Draymond cut in there and that's why it was so clogged up.
30:46Do you maybe want to stay out there if you can get a beat on what Guy Sainz was gonna
30:50do?
30:51But Seraf just couldn't help himself.
30:52The shot clock was at 1.
30:55Talk about getting bailed out.
30:58Now take advantage of making it hurt if you're the Warriors.
31:01Draymond finding Pajewski.
31:03Oh, it passed up ahead.
31:13The Warriors are definitely out of source right now. They're trailing by hate.
31:16You've gotta feel that Brooklyn is gaining confidence.
31:21The depth are trying to play through it as Pajewski's call for the foul.
31:24He's getting a little too active in your hands.
31:26Yeah, you're destroyed right now. You're out of sync offensively.
31:30Feels like the Warriors are still kind of in shock.
31:32We're all thinking about Moses Mouya.
31:34By the way, I know I said what it was as soon as it happened with the patella tendon rupture.
31:39And I said it was the same as mine, which is true.
31:42But one thing to remember, when it happened to me, that was almost 17 years ago.
31:47Right? And technology has come a long way.
31:55So to me, that's a reason to be optimistic that he's gonna come back strong.
32:00And I had a great conversation with him.
32:02Gave him some things to think about.
32:03But the organization, pray for the man.
32:05Everybody, pray for Moses Moody.
32:07And if you are, I'm sure he appreciates that.
32:09Well, and you look at, it's a different injury, but Jason Tatum's recovery.
32:14Kevin Durant hurt his Achilles, his recovery, the excellence he's played at.
32:18Like you said, the medical advances.
32:20And hopefully just everything goes well for Moses.
32:22And as young as he is, that he's able to come back.
32:25Because we miss him already.
32:27Absolutely.
32:27I mean, I had a great conversation with him right after it happened.
32:31And for someone that's just had a devastating injury, he was in great spirits.
32:35He was super confident about when he comes back.
32:38But it is a really complicated procedure.
32:43And he knows that.
32:45But also one that I think he's gonna be taken care of.
32:49You gotta trust Rick Celebrini and this Warrior training staff.
32:53They're awesome.
32:54They're gonna take care of him.
32:54He's gonna pick a great surgeon and get the surgery done really well.
32:59And then he's gonna attack the rehab.
33:01And I know that.
33:02So Pat Spencer had a cut on that hand.
33:04And that was the delay to handle that.
33:09Yeah, for the Warriors, you know, you look at you're down eight.
33:12But it is 13 turnovers and 21 shot attempts.
33:16That's it.
33:16It's almost incomprehensible.

39:42But listen, you have 10 games left here, and you're trying to sprint to the finish.
39:47You see the finish line.
39:48You're trying to prepare for the playing tournament, and you still have a chance at it.
39:52So everybody that's able to play, go ahead and go dumb hard and see what you can do.
39:57You get a foul drawn on the clock to begin.
39:59Well, that's going to be a problem because he's got four fouls in the first half here.
40:03Yeah.
40:03And just, I'm going to add this just for information.
40:07Memphis lost.
40:08The Warriors are the 10s.
40:09They're in there.
40:10No matter if they lose every game the rest of the year, they're still playing in the 9-10 game.
40:15And this is one of those seasons where, okay, how do you feel about the playing tournament?
40:18If you finish at 9 or 10, you really like it because you have a chance to fight for the
40:23playoffs.
40:24If you're 7-8 or 8, maybe you don't as much before the playing tournament.
40:28You would have been in.
40:33They know they're undersized, so they're trying to overcompensate for that fact,
40:39and they're fouled.
40:40And by the way, the Warriors won the play-in tournament last year.
40:43They were.
40:43And then advanced, and then they beat Houston in the series.
40:47And I still contend if Steph Curry doesn't pull his hamstring, they would have beat Minnesota, too.
40:51They absolutely would have.
40:52And they had a good chance against OKC because they had a winning record during the season against OKC.
40:57So, I mean, anything could happen.
40:58The Warriors were 4-1 against Minnesota when Steph Curry played.
41:01They were 0-4 when he didn't play.
41:04So, I like my chances if he had remained healthy in that series.
41:07You always have a puncher's chance.
41:09You're in the fight.
41:10You'll win two games, and you're in if everything stays the same.
41:14And the 9-10 thing, by the way, I'd like the 9-10 game to be here at Chase.
41:19I would love that, too.
41:20I think all these fans would love that.
41:22And now, step back from Johnson as he hits that three.
41:26Johnson is just known for his high motor, really switchable defensively.
41:32But Brooklyn, we've talked about the 30th in the league in shooting, but 59%.
41:36And PP2, that's just a ghost play-up.
41:39I think that's how easy it can be tonight.
41:41If you want to do this every single possession, give it to Porzingis.
41:44They're so small out there, they're going to have to double-team hit.
41:48Porzingis boxed out nicely on the Minot base.
41:53He's got about 440 to do some work here before halftime.
41:57And a very quizzical first half to the Doves.
42:02And they keep the foul.
42:03Porzingis, and you're in the bonus, and keep sending them to the line.
42:06Yeah, Porzingis is making himself available, set some screens, let them switch.
42:11Look at Porzingis get the ball here, and look where the defense is.
42:14Johnson comes over, you get the cut out of it, and they can't stop it.
42:19And this is KP setting the screen here.
42:21Wilson has to switch on to him.
42:22He knows he's smaller, and Wilson's doing too much.
42:25Like, you can just keep doing this.
42:27We have said this, and that plays the example.
42:31When you drive and pick up fouls, you get into the bonus.
42:34Then innocuous little plays like that, put an 83% free-thrower at the line for free points.
42:39Yeah, they're at a disadvantage now.
42:41You're trying to walk him down.
42:42This is one way to help your cause.
42:45You've started this game off a little sluggishly with the turnovers,
42:48but getting to the free-throw line, getting second-chance opportunities,
42:51getting the offensive line, these are all things that'll help.
42:54Yeah, that's the one beauty of Jimmy Butler.
42:56He would always get you into the bonus.
42:58And it benefited everybody.
42:59The Warriors, previous to Butler, were last in the league in free-throw attempts.
43:04And that missed three there, tracked down by Melton.
43:10And the Dubs, four minutes is plenty of time to finish this half.
43:14Potensky cut that on the run.
43:16Nice play defensively by Brooklyn.
43:19And why not?
43:19Why not head of the other way, said that Wilson.
43:22They run him off the speed point line.
43:24Boys got back defensively there.
43:29Dylan Wilson knocked away by Potensky, but a foul.
43:33Yeah, Jaylin Wilson.
43:34I said he, people have compared him to Josh Hardy.
43:36He's kind of a do-everything type of player.
43:39He can handle the pick and rolls.
43:41He can also set pick and rolls.
43:44But, yeah, you've got Pujimsky on his back.
43:47And Pujimsky tried to do a little extra to get that one.
43:50Four-year Kansas player Wilson with a couple free throws courtesy of Waymo.
44:15Jalen Wilson, you know that four-year college players.
44:18I know, you love that.
44:20Josh Hardy was a four-year college player.
44:22So I can see some parents in.
44:24He's going to be Melton right down the lane to lay it up and in.
44:28Again, just involving Porzingis.
44:30Let him set the screen.
44:31They're going to be so worried about him.
44:33Sometimes he'll have an angle to the basket there.
44:36But if he Melton still had to go through something.
44:38Pujimsky fight for that rebound.
44:40That was nice after the ETN miss.
44:45And down 13.
44:48Missing that three.
44:49The long rebound to Pat Spencer.
44:51Throw it in to Porzingis.
44:52He's big.
44:54It's that simple.
44:55He's got a bunch of little guys around him.
44:56See the tall guy?
44:57Throw it to him.
44:59Porzingis' first Warrior in double figures.
45:01And Brooklyn takes time after an 8-2 Warrior run.
45:07Our Xfinity powerful performance.
45:10December 18, 2012.
45:12The beginning of the sellout streak.
45:15A babyface Steph Curry.
45:17Mark Jackson on the sidelines.
45:19That is Festus Azizili down the lane.
45:22How about that?
45:23Festus with the finish.
45:25Carl Landry with a nice delivery.
45:27And David Lee hammering it home.
45:29Man, this is old home week looking at that.
45:31Amazing.
45:31600 straight sellouts and I've got to say, the Chipotle real difference makers.
45:37Oracle Arena.
45:37How long have you been a season ticket holder?
45:40Larry Smith, Cameron Baker, Ronald Cohan, and Ted Kagan.
45:46God love all of you.
45:47Unbelievable.
45:48You're hanging in there, Larry.
45:49Bro, those are the OGs.
45:5160 years?
45:52The OGs.
45:53Way to go, Larry.
45:54When it comes to Warrior fans.
45:56Yes, sir.
45:56We appreciate you.
45:58That is love.
46:00I've got to know where their locations are.
46:02Seriously, right?
46:02We've met some of these season ticket holders.
46:04I've got to find these guys.
46:05Yeah.
46:06Well, three minutes left here in this half.
46:08The burden of proof is on you to prove you want to go get this one.
46:12You know what Larry's saying?
46:13Stop turning it over.
46:15Stop it.
46:15I've been watching for 60 years.
46:17Make your push into halftime.
46:18Have some momentum.
46:20We'll scare these nets.
46:22Ramon, good switch on the Wilson.
46:24Shot clock at 7.
46:27Wilson to pull up at the way.
46:29Brookford has shot the ball at 55%.
46:34Well, they're so young.
46:35It's probably really hard to scare his team.
46:37They don't even know what's going on.
46:38They're just playing.
46:40He's advantage on the Warriors.
46:42Giveaways early.
46:43You can pick up the fouls.
46:44So, I do like that this is old school.
46:48You're not shooting it particularly well.
46:50You're throwing the ball around the yard.
46:51Get to the line.
46:53Yes.
46:53Stop the clock.
46:54Get to the line.
46:55Start to just get them in foul trouble.
46:56Get them frustrated.
46:59By the way, Etienne, who just made that floater,
47:01he's actually a really good three-point shooter, 44%,
47:03but he went to Wichita State.
47:05We know that's all big on Wichita State.
47:07Raymond Ritter loves Wichita State.
47:09We don't hear too much about Wichita State.
47:12So, the longest sellout streaks in NBA history,
47:16Dallas got over 1,000 for ending it.
47:18Portland, Miami's still rolling, as are the Warriors.
47:22Miami is up there.
47:23There we go.
47:24Woo!
47:26Are you questioning?
47:27I'm just wondering.
47:28There's a lot to do in Miami.
47:29There's Wichita State.
47:31Raymond Ritter, who never attended Wichita State, likes them.
47:34That's all you need to know.
47:36We always ask, like, what connects did he have to Wichita State,
47:38and why are you always talking about them?
47:39He has relatives in Enid, Oklahoma.
47:42I want the Thanksgiving in Enid, Oklahoma with them.
47:46There's no one close to Oklahoma City, by the way.
47:48Here's a wide, but we love him.
47:50But I love his fans out.
47:53DeSantos, beautiful denial of Wilson.
47:56I'm going to pop a two-minute mark here.
47:58That's what being down at 13 within seven.
48:02DeSantos, guess what?
48:03He's fouled.
48:04Nice.
48:05Let's see, the Warriors are living at the line here the last couple minutes.
48:08It's just a little bit of an awkward closeout for Minot.
48:11Just go ahead and rip it through after he's looking for someone to pass it to get to the free
48:14throw line.
48:15This is like, okay, who wants the ball?
48:17Who wants to drive, throw their body to someone, and get to the free throw line?
48:19Who wants to work on their free throws?
48:20In a different sport, this would be three yards, four yards, three yards.
48:25It's not sexy, but it can be effective.
48:27And Warriors, no matter who's been in there, they've actually been pretty good when it comes to their free throw
48:31shooting percentages.
48:32Overall, that would have been the kiss of death right there.
48:35He just jinxed DeSantos.
48:38The Warriors shot by the game.
48:41Celebrate the town and Steph Curry.
48:43Pick up a number 30 Nike City Edition Swingman jersey.
48:46You know, shop.warriors.com.
48:48You stop mentioning free throws until they're in.
48:51It is that type of disgusting game where that would work.
48:53Like, jinxing comes into play here.
48:55I apologize, DeSantos.
48:57Now make this one.
49:03The Warriors, they're 11 of 13 free throwing.
49:06It's something they've done well all year.
49:0885% tonight.
49:11Down 13 within six.
49:12Slowly but surely.
49:16Etienne, got to get a few ports.
49:17Is that ball kick?
49:18So he keeps the shot clock at 14.
49:21That's what he does well.
49:22He's going to be a pick and roll player.
49:24They're going to go pick and roll with good amount.
49:26So your pick and roll defense is going to be attested.
49:28I have to say, Porzingis, I've never remembered him as a big rim defender.
49:33But seeing him every game, he does it.
49:35Remember when he first came out of the release?
49:37With the Knicks, he was a monster there.
49:39They called him the unicorn for his defensive prowess as well.
49:42Wilson, a big protest by Guy.
49:45And Raymond with the rebound.
49:47See if you can throw your body into someone again and get to the free throw line.
49:51A minute 40 here.
49:53But Will Richard trying to feed Porzingis.
49:56No double coming.
49:57Now it comes.
49:59A cyclic to an open for Jensky for three.
50:02And then Draymond kept it alive.
50:04But a foul on the Warriors on the rebound.
50:08And Draymond, he's trying to get that offensive rebound.
50:10But now they're going to get free throws.
50:12Draymond was actually talking about him and Moses.
50:15When you look at Draymond Green, he was right there.
50:18Go get that one, but a little off-arm action.
50:20But Draymond was talking about him and Moses.
50:23He said, like, him and Moses are going to get a lot of chess in now.
50:26He's going to try to go over there, lift up his spirits by beating him.
50:29And Moses was like, you're not going to do me like he used to be Clay Thompson when he got
50:32hurt.
50:33Go over to his house, take all his money as they missed the free throw.
50:37Because Moses' move is actually really good when it comes to chess.
50:40And he used to beat up on Draymond Green at a time to the point where Draymond's like,
50:44no, let me stop playing you.
50:45Let me get better.
50:46I'm going to go beat up on D'Anti Melton that made the second free throw.
50:48I need to get involved in that.
50:49Yeah, Clay Thompson kept ducking me to go beat up on Drew Gilder.
50:53Right.
50:54And then Draymond got better, came back and played Moses, beat him,
50:57and then Moses was like, okay, let me lock in as they foul.
51:00Guess who they just shoved again.
51:02Yeah, it's amazing.
51:03What is it about fouling Porzingis?
51:05Well, it's free throws five and six here.
51:07He's even laughing.
51:08Like, these guys really like to shove me all over the place.
51:11That's the fact that they're a young team and they're small.
51:13And they're doing extra to try to keep him from getting to the rim
51:16and exploiting these matchups.
51:18He kind of pushed off there.
51:20And then he just kind of put two hands on him and shoved him back.
51:25But, yeah, I mean, so, yeah, everybody's going to go over
51:29and make sure Moses Moody's in good spirits at all times when they can.
51:31Did you play chess as a kid?
51:33Did the brothers just start for nine?
51:34I did with my dad.
51:36My dad got so addicted to chess that he would go and get, like, a CD,
51:40like the chess thing from whatever store so he could play the computers.
51:43He got so addicted to it.
51:44He broke the CDs.
51:46Like, I played this too much, went back the next day to the store and bought another CD.
51:50Wow.
51:50He just couldn't get rid of it.
51:52So the Azebuki family, your dad with chess and ping pong.
51:55Yes.
51:56He'll never play any of the Azebukis and ping pong.
51:58All right, now the whistles are just stopping the game here.
52:02That foul on Will Richard.
52:03Both teams have been in the bonus for a long time.
52:05And, you know, that's Wilson just trying to dribble the ball on the floor.
52:10Will Richard fighting him there.
52:11But what I was saying earlier, expanding on my point about this young team
52:16and this situation, like, okay, this is opportunity season for them
52:20where a lot of guys are injured, all these rookies getting minutes.
52:25It's great, but then you don't want to fool yourself into thinking,
52:28okay, this is going to be my whole career.
52:30I'm getting all these minutes, and I have all this time to be effective.
52:34And you miss that key, vital developmental phase of getting short minutes
52:39and being effective in those short minutes.
52:41And then when you do that, you're faithful a little.
52:44When you do get more, then you're really ready.
52:48Porzingis, that one deflected.
52:50It got to Pujewski.
52:51Ran it down a run for the floater.
52:54They've accomplished the task so far.
52:56After being down 13, grinding your way to within four
52:59in the final 50 seconds of the first half.
53:01And a half with 29 fouls being called.
53:06Yes, you see it, and that was wide right.
53:09Missed there by ETN.
53:12Dremont's got it.
53:13Dremont's got it.
53:14Dremont's got it.
53:15Dremont's got it.
53:15And Dremont with a five.
53:16He wanted that and one.
53:17But he knew he was being fronted, and that's a perfect pass there.
53:22Warriors are playing really smart right now when it comes to exploiting these matchups,
53:26making them foul.
53:27I was watching Dremont Green the whole time.
53:29He had ETN just kind of seal him.
53:34ETN is fronting him.
53:35He's much smaller than Dremont.
53:37Give Guy Santos a target.
53:38Played over to the top early, missed the first free throw.
53:42Hmm.
53:44But yeah, once Dremont came back and got better,
53:46just said to beat Moses Moody.
53:48He's like, let me lock in, and then he hasn't beat Moses Moody since.
53:52It's been a long run.
53:53The one thing with Dremont, whether it's talk or spades or poker,
53:56he's amazing in card games.
53:58He is.
53:58And then you say, okay, chess, all right, I'll take a shot at that and get good at that, too.
54:03He likes all the games where you need, like, a high IQ.
54:06So both free throws missed, though, and it stays at four.
54:10High-up catch and shoot, and that breaks.
54:13You missed two free throws, you bottoms at three.
54:15It's a weird-looking jumper, isn't it?
54:16But it goes in somehow.
54:18He's three of four, he's got eight.
54:21Two-second difference.
54:22Warriors have been through this before.
54:23How do they handle the clock at the end of a half or end of a quarter?
54:30That's a poor Zingas.
54:32Got a clock at five.
54:34Jeff, he went to set the screen and got another foul.
54:37What do you know?
54:39Yeah, poor Zingas, this is how versatile he is.
54:43You can run pick and roll with him.
54:45He can set the screen or he can handle.
54:47And he was handling this time.
54:49And you get a small, a guy that's much smaller than he is,
54:54setting the screen for him, and he's able to dribble off of it.
54:58Oh, turn it off.
54:59No, have we got that?
55:00They're going to challenge him.
55:03So the second coach's challenge with five seconds left in the half
55:08in a seven-point game.
55:10With five seconds after this first half.
55:16So five seconds left in the first half, Brooklyn using their second challenge.
55:20The question's going to be, watch this, did Pajemski bounce Minot there into the foul?
55:25Is he stationary there?
55:27It looks like he's kind of moving to his left a little bit too much.
55:31There's no doubt that Minot fouls poor Zingas, but so this might be a successful challenge.
55:35But did Pajemski, if you're Pajemski here, you just want to get stationary
55:39and make Minot go around you.
55:42And listen, it's close.
55:45So Ed Molloy will have the call.
55:46If the replay review is confirmed, if the defender makes illegal contact
55:49with the offensive player, therefore it's an unsuccessful challenge
55:53and two free throws since we're in a penalty.
55:55All right.
55:56So what I like about that call right there, I stand for it,
55:59is it clear and conclusive.
56:01Yeah.
56:01Okay.
56:02If that had been called a Pajemski chicken wing, okay, it would have stood.
56:06But it's called.
56:07Minot clearly, he fouled poor Zingas.
56:09Yeah, they got Minot fouling before Pajemski kind of pushed into him there,
56:14which is the right call.
56:15I think heading into the end of the season and into the playoffs.
56:18Let's get back to the old clear and conclusive.
56:20Like the replay is supposed to be, oh, it's obvious we missed this.
56:25But some of these, where it takes three, four, five minutes,
56:28it's not obvious, though.
56:29I totally agree.
56:30But if you're Pajemski there, still take the teaching moment there
56:33because they saw you moving on that screen.
56:36And the Warriors have had issues with that, just staying stationary there,
56:40letting the ball handle do most of the work.
56:42That defender's going to have to go around you.
56:44That's all your job is.
56:45So Pajemski is one of two from the line.
56:47Five seconds of defense needed here to wind down the half.
56:51Chris stops with 13, leading the Warriors.
56:55Play and beat the clock.
56:57And ETM at 94 feet to lay that up and in.
57:00Speed.
57:02So that will do it for a first half that is not going to Springfield.
57:07You ended up having 31 fouls called in 24 minutes of basketball.
57:12And the Warriors commit 15 turnovers.
57:15And that results in an eight-point deficit.
57:18Vontae, Mully, Festus at the gatehouse.
57:21Warrior Halftime Live, presented by Jack in the Box,
