Doctors say the number of flu cases remain alarmingly high across the country, with at least 22-thousand cases reported so far this year. With flu season yet to begin, people are being urged to speak to their doctor about getting vaccinated.

00:33But at Brisbane's Martyr Hospital, doctors say this year's vaccine has been updated to combat the sinister strain.
