00:27Grazie a tutti.
00:30Grazie a tutti.
01:05Grazie a tutti.
01:09Grazie a tutti.
02:00Grazie a tutti.
03:03As per esempio, I'm thrilled to introduce you to Echo, re-envisioned for Project L.
03:08Echo is a punk genius.
03:10He's a brilliant inventor who, through time manipulation, can rewind his own mistakes and stay one step ahead of his
03:16opponent.
03:17Il centro di Ecco'è il kit è il Chrono Strike.
03:20È un forward-moving slash that's a pretty good poke
03:22e un combo ender.
03:24Quando Ecco slashes with Chrono Strike,
03:26ha generato un afterimage
03:27che si può rewindare alla prossima
03:29nel prossimo secondi del match.
03:31Puoi usare il Rewind
03:32a double-down on il primo slash
03:34e rendere a differente choice
03:35e rendere a high committal launcher.
03:38Ecco works just fine
03:39come a mid-range zoner,
03:40ma è veramente come online
03:42quando ti prendi full avanti
03:43del Rewind ability.
03:44He can vary the timing of the Rewind
03:46to mix up his opponent
03:47and recover for assist attacks
03:49made by his teammates.
03:51And in the right hands,
03:52Rewind can also be a strong combo extender.
03:58And then there's Timewinder,
03:59Ecco's Time Grenade.
04:02Timewinder works great
04:03for basic zoning in combos.
04:05The real payoff comes
04:06when you're able to throw Timewinder
04:07from range,
04:08giving it a chance to charge up
04:09and explode into a time distortion field
04:12that slows Ecco's opponents
04:13for the next few seconds of the match.
04:15For both of these moves,
04:17our approach is to give you a tool
04:18with a clear primary role
04:19with lots of potential
04:21for extra utility
04:21when you use it
04:22in the right situation.
04:24Now, while gameplay is obviously
04:26super important,
04:27high-quality netcode
04:28is essential
04:29for any great fighting game.
04:30So this is an area
04:31where we're investing big.
04:33I'm going to turn it over to Tony,
04:34and he'll walk you through
04:35some of our networking foundations.
04:37Netcode has been a top-of-mind topic
04:39in the FGC for the past year,
04:40especially since we haven't been able
04:42to gather for live events.
04:43For Project L,
04:45we've designed our entire
04:46networking stack
04:47to deliver the same
04:47highly responsive gameplay
04:49that you'd get playing offline.
04:50Of course, this starts
04:52by using Rollback Networking
04:53at the core.
04:54Rollback does a great job
04:55of maintaining a consistent
04:57low-input delay
04:58across a wide range of pings.
05:00We've also developed
05:01a new networking model
05:02that enhances the benefits
05:03of Rollback
05:04with core technology
05:05developed by other games at Riot.
05:07We'll route network traffic
05:08between players
05:09through Riot Direct,
05:10our internal network
05:11already being used
05:12to minimize latency
05:13in League of Legends and Valorant.
05:14We're also actively managing
05:16a player's connection
05:17to their opponent
05:17to ensure a consistent
05:19fair play experience.
05:20If their connection is laggy
05:21or drops packets,
05:22their experience will suffer,
05:23but yours won't.
05:25And if someone rage quits
05:26in the middle of a match,
05:27our netcode will determine
05:28who should win
05:29and who should be penalized.
05:30We're taking Netplay
05:31very seriously
05:32for Project L.
05:33It's the primary way
05:34that we playtest
05:35the game internally
05:35and we're working every day
05:37to make sure it's in top shape
05:38for the eventual release.
05:39We hope you enjoyed
05:40this sneak peek
05:41at Project L.
05:42Before we go,
05:43I want to remind you
05:44that our game is still in R&D.
05:46We're happy
05:46with how core combat
05:47is shaping up,
05:48but there's still a ton
05:49of work to do.
05:50Thanks so much
05:50for your patience
05:51while we take our time
05:52to make sure
05:52that we get this right.
05:54So that's all for now.
05:56Last time we spoke,
05:57Project L went dark afterwards,
05:58but this time
05:59we'll do our best
05:59to keep in touch
06:00when we have major news to share.
06:02Thanks a lot.
06:03Thank you.
