00:03It is just one of the biggest games we've ever done.
00:10So many planets, so many places to go, so many characters.
00:14So much to do, there's so many different ways to do it, it's so funny.
00:17It's not the LEGO Star Wars you knew.
00:19We said, right, let's give the fans everything Star Wars, we're going to give them the galaxy.
00:28In LEGO Star Wars, The Skywalker Saga, we had an incredible opportunity to build planets.
00:34Planets that we've been to in our imagination.
00:37Planets that we'd loved as fans of these stories across nine movies.
00:42One of the big things we wanted to focus on when we started this game was freedom.
00:46We wanted to blur the lines between levels and open world exploration as much as possible in this game
00:52so that it felt like one big, cohesive galaxy.
00:55The game itself is obviously episodic.
00:58As players play through those, they will unlock these wonderful planets that they'll get to explore.
01:02You can go from Tatooine to Coruscant, you can go to Bespin, you can Asian-class, you can go to
01:06Acto.
01:08The planets are where this game really comes to life.
01:11The sheer scale of this is off the chart.
01:14Being able to traverse the entire galaxy, going from all the planets that you would recognise from the films.
01:19We've just really tried to delve into making each planet feel like alive and unique to what it was in
01:26the film.
01:27We started by going through every planet, discussing colours and texture details.
01:32Each planet and location has got so much original, authentic Star Wars detail.
01:36We've got new systems that gave us a lot more finite control.
01:40How the planets look, how the levels look, how the ships look.
01:44It all looks so good.
01:46There's also a couple of little details that people might not really observe straight away.
01:51One of them is the LEGO weathering effect.
01:53When you have the players or vehicles transition through the environment, they become sort of dirtier.
01:58For example, Tatooine Desert, all the characters have sand on their feet.
02:02It was really satisfying when you actually can play the game, whichever character you choose.
02:05We wanted to make sure that all the little crevices and all the places that snow and moored at sand,
02:11all these elements would start to increase.
02:12You really do feel a part of that world.
02:14It's just fantastic.
02:15No!
02:16Away!
02:17Get out of here!
02:17I can't!
02:21I find it impossible to pick a favorite planet.
02:25I mean, there's so many great ones to choose from.
02:29Cloud City Bespin is a great one because it's such an auditory experience.
02:33You've got all the ships flying past you and you've got all the people walking around.
02:36The first time I landed on Naboo, you come through a clearing of trees and you just see the lake
02:42and you have the sun and the clouds in front of you and the sun's reflecting off that.
02:46It's absolutely beautiful.
02:48My favorite planet is Endor.
02:50I was just the right age to get excited about Return of the Jedi.
02:53I love the Ewoks.
02:55Just go to all of them.
03:01The world of Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga needed to be alive.
03:07So we built a galaxy with space missions, with side quests, with all kinds of secret challenges wherever you go.
03:16My favorite mission is on Tatooine and it's being able to feed the Sarlacc pit.
03:22Going around and collecting things to feed to it is just a joy.
03:27There's a mission in the game in Echo Base and I just really love the one put in it.
03:33He's so nervous and he doesn't want to get caught and you're just trying to help him sneak out the
03:37base.
03:39There are some missions where the player will follow a string of missions.
03:42That mission giver might send you from Akto to Exegol and you've got to travel across the galaxy and finish
03:48that mission.
03:49That's something new we haven't actually done in previous games so much.
03:52Within our game there's a lot of collectibles.
03:54The Kyber Bricks are something the players are going to find throughout the planets.
03:58These are awarded in puzzles and sometimes can be awarded in missions.
04:01Along the way you can get distracted by all sorts of collectibles and missions to take on and before you
04:07know you realize, I haven't continued the story in about half an hour, I've been too busy collecting Kyber Bricks.
04:14Completing missions and other events are how you unlock your favorite ships to fly around and your favorite characters.
04:20You'll see characters in this game that you have never seen in any of our Star Wars games, we created
04:25them just for this game.
04:26I really love that you can play as mom of the hut, which I think is just great because I
04:31want to be general with lipstick on.
04:32Characters such as Yabble.
04:36Babu Frick is hilarious because he's so tiny.
04:42I am a huge fan of Star Wars, so I was so excited to be part of this.
04:45It was even more exciting to get to work on these planets I've loved seeing in the films and exploring
04:49them even more.
04:50The work that the team have put into it is incredible.
04:53I couldn't be prouder to have been part of this game.
04:55We were able to capture so many worlds and bring them all together and really create them the way that
05:01we wanted to is something that I'll always be proud of.
05:08The End
05:25The End
05:26Grazie a tutti.
