00:07Greetings Hunters! Welcome to our Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Demo Overview.
00:12In this video we'll be showing you the bespoke hunts you can play in both single and multiplayer modes of
00:17the Sunbreak Demo.
00:18Available right now on PC and Nintendo Switch.
00:21We'll also be taking you through the 3 tutorial quests.
00:24So whether you're new to Monster Hunter, or a more experienced player who wants to see what Sunbreak has in
00:29store,
00:29this demo has something for everyone.
00:34Once you've chosen to play in single or multiplayer you'll be greeted with this screen.
00:38As you can see there's 4 quests and 3 tutorials to choose from.
00:43All the hunts in Monster Hunter Rise and Sunbreak dynamically scale with the number of players,
00:48so you won't be at a disadvantage when you're playing on your own,
00:51and you'll have a suitable challenge when you're playing with friends.
00:54If you're a new player, the most important quest is going to be the basic training quest,
00:58where Master Itsuchi will take you through the hunting basics, including movement, hunting actions, and wire bugs.
01:03In the second tutorial, you'll be shown how to utilize the wyvern riding mechanic,
01:07allowing you not only to briefly take control of a monster,
01:10but to pit them against nearby monsters in a deadly clash of fangs and claws.
01:15The third tutorial introduces 2 brand new mechanics to Sunbreak,
01:19the Switch Skill Swap and the Switch Evade.
01:22From setup to execution, Master Itsuchi will take you through everything you need to know.
01:27We suggest even experienced hunters also try this tutorial to check out these new moves.
01:33Now, onto the hunt.
01:35The Sunbreak Demo offers a wide range of challenges against different monsters.
01:39Be warned, even seemingly familiar monsters have gained some new moves and tricks in Master Rank.
01:44So be ready hunters!
01:46First up we have the Great Izuchi, a ferocious bird wyvern that hunts in a pack.
01:51This hunt is ideal for trying out any of the 14 weapon types available to you in the demo,
01:56as well as trying out the new Switch Skill Swap and Silkbind moves.
02:00Keep a lookout for some of the new endemic life too, including the extremely useful marionette spider,
02:05which can be used to pull monsters into terrain for a potential knockdown.
02:10Next up in the intermediate hunt, you'll face the imposing Tetranodon and its inflatable belly.
02:15Much larger than a Great Izuchi, this is a fantastic way to experience fighting a larger monster.
02:21Be warned though, Tetranodon doesn't dig kindly to intruders and is ready to punish careless hunters
02:26with an array of powerful strikes, slams and charges.
02:31Get ready for an electrifying experience in the expert hunt as you clash with the returning monster, Astalos.
02:38Astalos is a hyper-aggressive monster that wields thunder to dish out powerful area of effect attacks that cause thunder
02:45blight,
02:45which increases your chances of being stunned by an attack and leave you wide open to a follow-up.
02:51Having successfully hunted either Tetranodon or Astalos, you'll be able to take on the embodiment of darkness itself, Malzino.
02:59This fight will give you a taste of what kind of monster it is.
03:02Taking it down won't be easy, but we hope you try it out.
