00:00My name is Tommy Tellarico, I've been in the video game industry for over 30 years and I'm the CEO
00:05of Intellivision and we are going to completely disrupt the video game market with our brand new family video game
00:14system Intellivision Amico.
00:16I actually have the Guinness World Record for the person who's worked on the most video games in their lifetime.
00:24Some of the game franchises I've been involved in are things like the original Madden Football Series, Tony Hawk Pro
00:31Skater, Guitar Hero. So when I got in the industry, come to find out that Intellivision still existed and it
00:38was with a lot of the people there from the beginning at Intellivision.
00:42So I became good friends with the president and unfortunately about three years ago he passed away. So I reached
00:48out to everyone else and I said, hey, what's going to happen with the company now? Because I have a
00:54vision that's going to completely disrupt the video game industry and Intellivision is the company I want to do it
01:02with.
01:02Intellivision was launched in 1979 and became a household name because it brought family and friends together.
01:10You know, by the early 80s, we owned 20% of the entire home video game market.
01:17And here we are 40 years later with the same mission, but this time the impact is going to be
01:24even greater.
01:26So the whole concept of a game is a very ancient thing. I mean, it was when people gathered together
01:32and would challenge each other and battle wits.
01:35And video games have always been that way as well, going all the way back to the original Intellivision, bringing
01:40people together.
01:42You saw it in the 90s with games like Mario Kart and GoldenEye and Halo Land parties.
01:48But then the internet snuck in.
01:51And now multiplayer gaming meant a kid in a dark room with their headphones on.
01:58So there are about 200 million hardcore gamers out there, but there are 3 billion people who play casual gaming.
02:05This is everything from solitaire to mobile games.
02:08And we see a huge opportunity to help serve that casual gaming community.
02:13One of the most unique opportunities that I see with Amico is really helping to serve parents, modern day families.
02:20I personally am a mom of three young kids.
02:23And to me, I'm really worried about what my children should be exposed to.
02:27I'm worried about how to reconcile games and screens and technology coming at us from every direction.
02:33So we see this huge gaping hole in the video game industry, which is people aren't playing video games together,
02:40especially not casual people.
02:43And what has video gaming become?
02:46It's solitary.
02:48It's expensive.
02:49It's complicated.
02:51So our four pillars of Intellivision are simple, affordable, family, and entertainment.
02:57And that spells out the word safe, because people can trust us.
03:03And we also want to create amazing value as well.
03:07Those are our two most important things.
03:09Trust and value with our consumers.
03:12Intellivision Amico is the first system in about 30 years that comes with two video game controllers.
03:19They come with color touchscreens, speaker, microphone, gyroscope, accelerometer, force feedback.
03:26The whole system even has RFID across the whole unit.
03:30One of the incredible things about Amico is that all of the games are rated E for everyone.
03:37All of our games are $9.99 or less.
03:41Now we have over 40 games being worked on right now.
03:44And we divide them into five separate categories.
03:47We have sports and recreation, original IPs, edutainment and kids, dice, board, card, casual games, and retro reimagined.
03:59We went out and we got all of the retro video games, bringing back all the greatest video games with
04:05new graphics and sound and adding in multiplayer so everyone can play.
04:09We have original IPs, which are based around our completely unique controllers.
04:16Think about this.
04:17Everybody now has a screen on their controller.
04:20So a game like Texas Hold'em, you can have the flop on the main television screen and everybody has
04:27their two cards on their controller.
04:29This is unbelievable.
04:31Never before been accomplished in a proper video game system.
04:35We have edutainment and kids.
04:39We have board games, card games, dice games, casual games.
04:44So imagine a game like Farkle, a dice game, where you can see the dice on your controller rolling around
04:51and then you roll it right up there on the screen for everyone to see.
04:55And another great category is sports and recreation.
04:59So not only do we have things like baseball and hockey and football and soccer, but other of the recreational
05:06sports like skiing and cornhole and shuffleboard and pool and darts.
05:12And imagine because we have motion controls, you can be right there feeling like you're part of the action.
05:18Amico is completely different from the other gaming systems that are out there.
05:22First and foremost, we have a unique controller with a touch control color screen.
05:26This is really interesting for video game experiences because it allows us the chance to have unshared information and a
05:33really different kind of interface than anybody else has.
05:36We have something that's called a Karma gaming engine.
05:39And what that means is that everybody, no matter what your skill level, can feel like you have a chance
05:47and that you're in the game.
05:49I'll give you an example.
05:50Let's say we were playing Pong.
05:53Now I'm really good at Pong.
05:55So if I score three times in a row on you, then that means my paddle is going to shrink
06:00and yours is going to get bigger.
06:02So it's like this real time interactive on the fly handicapping system that everyone, no matter a grandfather, can beat
06:12a hardcore millennial gamer.
06:14We have over 600 years of experience just on our core team.
06:19I'm talking about like the former president of Nintendo, people who helped to create the PlayStation hardware, the Xbox.
06:27You have the woman who helped to launch marketing wise the Nintendo Wii console.
06:33I got the guy who helped to bring Tetris to the world.
06:37Tetris is the number one selling video game ever of all time.
06:41We have the best games in the world, the best game developers, the most incredible team.
06:47We have purchase orders in our hands.
06:50We have the system and the hardware completed.
06:54We have a $150 million line of credit for manufacturing.
07:00We have the biggest licenses in the world.
07:03The rocket ship has been built.
07:05We are on the launch pad.
07:07So strap yourself in because it's going to be one hell of a ride.
07:18Let's go.
