Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is making headlines again — but this time, it’s not just about missiles flying in the Gulf. On March 24, 2026, the IRGC publicly released before-and-after satellite images claiming that its forces successfully hit two critical U.S. radar systems in Bahrain.
According to Tehran, the strikes caused visible structural damage, marking a serious escalation in its ongoing campaign against U.S. and allied assets in the region.
The radars reportedly hit include: Patriot AN/MPQ-65 fire-control radar — the heart of the Patriot missile battery, guiding PAC-2 and PAC-3 interceptors to track and engage ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and aircraft. TPS-75 early-warning radar — a mobile, long-range air surveillance system, capable of detecting threats hundreds of kilometers away and cueing other defense assets.
