00:00A lot of big names have come off the board in the NFL and free agency so far and a
00:05lot of moves will
00:06be made around the draft but that doesn't mean there aren't still some smart moves out there so
00:11today going to look at one signing every AFC team should do and figure out how we can improve these
00:19teams just a little bit so doing one signing for every team doing the AFC first NFC is going to
00:31be
00:31on the podcast tomorrow and if you're not watching this around the time that I recorded the video is
00:37probably up now up on YouTube we're going to start in the AFC East and so basically what I did
00:44I tried
00:44to be as realistic as I could about where the teams were at in the salary cap and who is
00:50still
00:50available and gave first dibs to the teams with the most salary cap space I felt that was probably
00:55the most fair so up first the New England Patriots they made the move with Romeo Dobbs to address
01:02some things at wide receiver and I know a lot of people are wondering what they're going to do
01:08about the offensive line given some of the issues they had against Seattle but they still feel pretty
01:12locked in with the guys that they have so I went to helping out on the defensive side of things
01:17and
01:17giving them a little bit more help in the pass rush and so I went Joey Bosa with the New
01:22England Patriots
01:23again with coach Mike Vrabel and how good that defense was a season ago you could make the argument
01:30that maybe some of that was based off of the schedule that they faced and still good defense and all
01:37of
01:37that but I think we saw in the Super Bowl that there's some improvements that could be made there
01:40Bosa I think helps to really solidify that up next the Buffalo Bills I gave them Dylan Parham
01:48former offensive lineman for the Vegas Raiders again Buffalo has done a lot of their work so far
01:54this one by trade bringing in DJ Moore they've addressed a couple of other areas but they did
02:00lose one of their guards at Parham maybe not the most exciting name or anything there and certainly
02:05not a name that would keep you from drafting an interior offensive lineman later on but just where
02:09they're at salary cap wise who's still available I think it's a pretty good fit for the Miami Dolphins
02:14that this is tough because they're actively not trying to be good and only had a couple million
02:19dollars in salary cap space left but while there are maybe not necessarily trying to be the most
02:24competitive they still have to have football players out there and so I gave them defensive back
02:29corner Mike Hilton to try to help out there but there are a few of these teams where it's like
02:34I mean
02:35okay I guess um for the New York Jets they're a bad team that I think wants to be better
02:40in the
02:40upcoming season new quarterback Geno Smith new old quarterback Geno Smith um I'm giving him a weapon
02:46to work with in Brandon Ayuk I think Ayuk is going to want to bolster his value I don't think
02:51that a lot
02:51of winning teams are going to be looking for this dude and so the Jets have been that type of
02:56a landing
02:56spot before give Geno a little bit more room to work with um a very solid number two behind Wilson
03:03and helped out the offense there uh so those are the the picks that I have made for the teams
03:11in the
03:11AFC East moving into the North uh the Pittsburgh Steelers this is the easiest one it's the one that
03:17everyone is assuming is going to happen it's Kirk Cousins uh they don't have a quarterback right now
03:23I don't think Aaron Rodgers will be back and um so they're going to need somebody Kirk Cousins is the
03:28best somebody that is out there and can potentially help Atai Simpson um who I think they could be
03:34looking at drafting um for uh as early as two seasons from now or with Cousins history maybe
03:41the next season up next the Baltimore Ravens uh I have them going with Taylor Decker to help out
03:46on the offensive line you have Ronnie Stanley on the left side get Tech Decker to solidify things over
03:51on the right the offensive line maybe a touch of an issue for Baltimore this last season they've
03:57already made a few moves to try to address things on the defensive side so helping out Lamar and this
04:02run game by bringing in Taylor Decker I think makes the most sense for the Ravens uh for the Cincinnati
04:07Bengals I have Cam Robinson on the offensive line um I think offensive line is a way bigger area of
04:15need
04:15than this team seems to think they've spent some money trying to improve one of the worst defenses in
04:20the National Football League I think they need to help out on the offensive line and Cam Robinson
04:24one of the best available to help out with that um and then the Cleveland Browns I have Stefan Diggs
04:31they need weapons for whoever is going to play quarterback for them this upcoming season you like
04:36some of the things that they're building um with Fannin at tight end Judkins as uh running back
04:42don't love a lot of the wide receivers Stefan Diggs can be a bit of a stabilizing presence
04:46for the Cleveland Browns there we'll get to the other half of the conference in just a second but
04:52would like to ask if we've made it this far already hit that subscribe button and uh it really does
04:58help
04:58grow the channel here and we want to keep the football conversations going let's move into the
05:04AFC South and we'll go to the Jacksonville Jaguars and I'm giving them uh Larry Ogunjobi again that they
05:12lost a little bit on offense with um HN Jr going to the New Orleans Saints I still like the
05:21talent
05:21they have on the offensive side though with booty as the the running back I think Thomas just had a
05:27really bad year last year I think he's going to be fine they really like Jacoby Myers out there
05:32Hunter is going to be maybe a little bit more sparing on the offensive side but long story short I
05:37think
05:37they're okay on offense I think they need to strengthen up the defense just a little bit more
05:41helping out on the D line with Ogunjobi is the way I would go for them uh for the Houston
05:46Texans it is
05:48guard um Darryl Falale um 14 million dollars they have in salary cap space I think offensive line is a
05:54major need for this team they have tried to address it uh they will probably do so again in the
06:00NFL draft
06:01but just giving them a little bit more help on the interior um I think just they need all the
06:06help
06:06that they can get right now uh the Indianapolis Colts the offense went kind of nuts last season
06:11which outscored a few issues they have on defense and you could see once quarterback became a bit
06:17of a problem spot for them uh the defense wasn't good enough to hold up so I'm going to help
06:21them
06:21on the defensive line with Calais Campbell a lot of people expecting a fall off from him he's not what
06:27he once was of course but they also don't need him to be that just a bit more of a
06:32stabilizing force
06:33in the middle of that defensive line and for the Tennessee Titans I'm going Jawan Jennings if I'm
06:39Cam Ward I am hoping that Wandale Robinson isn't the big splash of the offseason to help out your
06:46young quarterback I'm sure that there is a weapon coming or two in the draft but I think Jawan
06:51Jennings has the stuff to be a pretty legitimate number one he'd be the most talented wide receiver
06:57on this team and it takes some of the pressure off and even if you draft a kid um that
07:02there's
07:03still a chance they could outshine them and you figure it out there but Jennings I think would
07:07certainly be a solid solid addition for the Tennessee Titans offense and then we get to the AFC
07:12West uh the Denver Broncos I have them going with Brian Robinson Jr. we talked about this in the uh
07:19free
07:19agents list that I did with the most talented free agents still available or the best free agents still
07:24available a lot of people forget that Brian Robinson Jr. was a number one running back a couple of
07:29seasons ago it's why people were so excited to see what he could do if he came in for uh
07:34Kyle
07:34Shanahan and that offense out in San Francisco didn't end up really working out that way they
07:41have been missing on a running back like this they've tried to piece it together with a few of
07:45these guys I'm sure Javante going off in Dallas doesn't make them feel great and just bringing in
07:51someone who can stabilize that spot and just another weapon for Bo Nix to work with I think
07:55Brian Robinson Jr. makes the most sense here for a team that's pretty solid all over the football
07:59field for the LA Chargers I'm going Hasan Reddick um obviously the issue last year was offensive line
08:05but uh everyone got hurt so we're not trying to address that there maybe we need a little bit of
08:10youth and some depth uh but we can acquire that in the draft for the Chargers so I'm helping out
08:14um on the
08:15defensive line with Hasan Reddick go to a team that is a very well coached up defense and when he
08:23goes into situations like that he tends to thrive so I think Hasan Reddick would be a pretty good
08:27value for a team that still has some of the most cap space in football for the Kansas City Chiefs
08:31I'm
08:31going Brandon Cooks I'm a little surprised he's still available this just feels like the type of a
08:36guy that this team would want I love the addition of Kenneth Walker to this offense just give them a
08:41little bit more play making but I think Brandon Cooks with Mahomes having maybe a little bit less
08:46mobility coming off of a knee injury Cooks is a guy who can just get open quick and they need
08:50dudes
08:51like that uh that they've needed it for a while it's not just straight burners down the field although
08:54Cooks can obviously do that but they need guys who can just get open quick and Cooks I think answers
08:59that question for them pretty resoundingly and then for the Raiders obviously quarterback is a need
09:04but we're all assuming they're locking that in um wide receiver certainly a spot that they could
09:10upgrade as well but I'm looking on the defensive side of the football right now that they've made
09:15a couple of additions to the secondary I don't think it's enough and so I think Trevon Diggs is
09:20going to be my guy that I'm picking for the Raiders just another dude um go out there obviously that
09:26the
09:26highs are high the lows are low with this particular player but I think that there could be a big
09:31boost
09:31for him with Vegas and just help to improve the overall talent level of the defense that was
09:38pretty bad last year for the team that finished in the bottom in the National Football League so
09:43those are my free agents uh one per team in the AFC going to do the NFC coming up a
09:49little bit later
09:50on so what do you think uh did I nail it with your team or am I completely out to
