00:11I am Vincent Le Jantel, Community Developer on Assassin's Creed.
00:15And I am excited to have Odyssey's Game Director, Scott Phillips, with me today.
00:19Hey Vincent, hello everyone. Super glad to be here today to be able to talk about
00:24all of the great stuff that is coming out this month.
00:26Speaking of great stuff, let's begin with the second episode of the Legacy of the First Blade story arc
00:32that comes out mid-January.
00:36In Shadow Heritage, the second episode of Legacy of the First Blade,
00:41you will continue your story with Darius.
00:44Scott, can you tell us more about what's waiting for the players?
00:47In our second episode, Amorghiz's influence in Greece grows stronger,
00:51and a mysterious Spartan threat presents itself.
00:54Take to the Aegean Sea to protect the quiet, simple life you've been longing for,
00:58with Darius and his family.
01:00And prepare to weather the Tempest.
01:03We can't wait to continue the Legacy of the First Blade story arc with this second episode mid-January.
01:09But we also have a lot of free content coming up this month. Let's take a look.
01:17Also this month, we'll be releasing two new Lost Tales of Greece,
01:21continuing our totally free series of additional adventures.
01:24The first storyline, Daughters of Lalaia, releases early this month.
01:28In a village where all of the men have left for battle, the townspeople beg you to train the remaining
01:34women
01:34to defend themselves from an outside threat.
01:37It's a bit like a Greek version of the Seven Samurai,
01:40where your choices throughout their training will determine the survival of the village.
01:44Our second free adventure, Poet's Legacy, will launch near the end of the month.
01:49In this story, you'll discover that Greece's most scandalous poet isn't quite what she seems,
01:55and you become increasingly involved in her risque performances.
02:02The mighty mythical Cyclops, Hargis, has risen.
02:07This January, you will face off against the third Cyclops and attempt to earn his legendary weapon,
02:12the Hammer of Hephaistos.
02:14Hargis is a high-level challenge, so we recommend that you're at least level 50,
02:19before battling this mythical behemoth.
02:21You'll find Hargis in the bowels of a fiery volcano,
02:24which he will use to his advantage during this exciting encounter.
02:31The Adrestia deserve to be helmed by only the most ardent and skilled naval lieutenants.
02:37And this month, it's a pleasure to announce the arrival of a franchise favorite.
02:41Our next legacy lieutenant, Aya, joins the crew from Assassin's Creed Origins,
02:47the legendary Egyptian Assassin, will bring her naval prowess to the dangerous waters of Ancient Greece.
02:53Later this month, make sure to visit the Ubisoft Club to unlock the co-founder of the Hidden One,
02:59and grace the Adrestia with Aya's legendary skill.
03:02This month also marks the release of two new gear packs.
03:06Whether at parties or in combat, Dionysos never misses an occasion to celebrate freedom.
03:11The Dionysos pack contains a gear set, a mount, and a legendary dagger.
03:19At the end of January, honor the values of the goddess of wisdom and warfare with the Athena pack.
03:26This blessed collection contains a gear set, a brand new mount, and a legendary short blade.
03:32All these items will be available in both the store and the echoes of the Olympiads.
03:42Alright Scott, this is the part where we can address some of our community's most burning questions.

03:50My first question is about difficulty.
03:52The option to turn off the auto enemy's calling is one of the most requested by the community.
03:58Is that something we're addressing for the future?
04:00We've heard those requests, and to answer them, the next update will give players options to manually adjust
04:05how much enemies will auto-scale to the player's level.
04:08To do this, visit the options menu and find the level scaling setting.
04:13From there, you can adjust it to further customize how the level scaling works.
04:17But note that this option won't be available in Nightmare difficulty to maintain the extreme challenge of that mode.
04:23Now that we have increased the level cap to 70,
04:26players are wondering if we're adding anything new to the engraving system.
04:31Yes.
04:31Some of you have already found our secret blacksmith,
04:34and now it's time to reveal what services he's going to provide.
04:37The Hephaestos Workshop will allow you to learn new engraving tiers to boost your power.
04:43Once you've reached the fifth level of an engraving perk,
04:45the sixth and seventh will become available for purchase from the Hephaestos Workshop.
04:50Talking about new tiers, are we planning to add more mercenaries in-game?
04:54Yes, and they're tougher than ever.
04:57You'll need to prepare yourselves for more epic mercenary battles with two new tiers of mercenaries.
05:03Also, new mercenary benefits are waiting for those of you brave enough to rise to the top of the mercenary
05:08ranking once again.
05:16The new year is already looking to be quite exciting for Assassin's Creed fans.
