00:14each month in Odyssey.
00:15Today, I'm with Bruno Guérin.

00:20A part of my mandate as a live content director
00:22is to define what's going to happen
00:24in post-launch in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
00:26And I'm super excited to be here today
00:28because although there is still much to do
00:30and a lot of unknowns on the horizon
00:32we're ready to share our plans for November.
00:38Lost Tales of Greece is our new
00:40additional free content series
00:42starting this month.
00:44During those quests, you will be able to discover
00:46more about your favorite Odyssey characters
00:48through surprising new series
00:50and you will get some new rewards.
00:52In the show must go on, our first quest
00:54you will play as an actor,
00:55re-enacting the Battle of 300
00:57as King Leonidas himself.
01:00You know it by heart, you've played it
01:01at the beginning of the game, but this time around
01:03the playwriter has a different take on the event.
01:06So it will be up to you to decide
01:08whether you stick to the script
01:09or improvise.
01:12In Divine Intervention,
01:13our second Lost Tales of Greece,
01:15you will meet a mysterious woman
01:17who will test your qualities through various
01:19divine trials.
01:21Once you reach episode 5
01:23in the main story,
01:24those quest lines will naturally appear
01:26as yellow side quests on the world map.
01:29No need to rush,
01:30there's no time limit,
01:31so feel free to play them whenever you want.
01:34And be sure to save before you play them,
01:36as you may want to check
01:37the different branching options.
01:44Another great piece of content coming your way are the epic events.
01:47Either mercenaries or ships?
01:50They regularly appear in the game,
01:52and your duty will be to hand them down
01:54and get their exclusive rewards,
01:57like ship design or a new piece of equipment.
02:00With the introduction of epic ships and epic mercenaries,
02:03we've added a new source of Orichalcum,
02:05the rare currency that you can spend
02:07at the Ecos of the Olympians.
02:08So this brings us now to five ways
02:11to get that rare currency that Sargon is craving,
02:13through exploration,
02:15from daily quests,
02:16weekly contracts,
02:17and now epic ships and epic mercenaries.
02:20With all the Orichalcum you can earn during your journey,
02:23you can visit Sargon
02:24and buy many of the items he has to offer,
02:26including all of the premium items
02:28that you would normally find in the store.
02:30So for example,
02:30the Underworld themed items that we released a couple of days ago
02:34are already unlockable at the Ecos of the Olympians.
02:37It's gonna be fun to kick some cultists
02:39with this dark fire armor inspired by Hades,
02:42but we also have an upcoming additional pack
02:45arriving later this month.
02:46That's right!
02:47Towards the end of November,
02:49two new exclusive packs will be added in the game.
02:52The Odysseus pack will include a new gear set,
02:55a new mount,
02:55and a new weapon.
02:57While the Odysseus naval pack
02:58will contain a new ship design,
03:01a new crew theme,
03:02and a new figurehead.
03:03And as usual,
03:04all of those items will be released at the same time
03:06both in the store
03:07and in the Ecos of the Olympians.
03:17On November 13,
03:18a new mythical creature called Theropis
03:20will arrive and terrorize all the world of Ancient Greece.
03:23And you will be the only one who can defeat it.
03:26A new quest named The Lightning Bringer
03:29will appear in your quest lock,
03:31leading you to the Cyclops.
03:33Be careful!
03:33Fighting the Cyclops is a high-level challenge,
03:36so be sure to be powerful enough
03:37before even thinking about facing it.
03:40And should you manage to defeat Theropis,
03:42you will earn its legendary bow.
03:44And no need to rush,
03:46Theropis will wait for you in its lair.
03:47So play the game at your own pace
03:49because the quest won't disappear.
03:56Bruno, I couldn't let you go
03:57without some of the most burning questions
03:59from the community.
04:01For example,
04:01a lot of players,
04:03they don't really want to choose
04:05between the best stats
04:06and the most visually appealing gear sets.
04:09What can we do for them?
04:11Well, I'm happy to announce
04:12that this month
04:13we'll be unveiling
04:14what we call the visual customization system
04:16that will allow players
04:18to add a visual layer on top of their gear.
04:21So what it means is that
04:22now you can apply the visuals of any item
04:24onto any other item of the same type.
04:27And this gives more flexibility
04:28and customization options to our players.
04:30What about the players
04:32who already reached level 50?
04:34Do we have anything for them?
04:35Well, it's true that
04:36some of our players actually
04:37reached level 50
04:38without even touching half of the game.
04:40We plan on increasing the level cap
04:42by 20 levels this month
04:43to account for what the game
04:44still has to offer
04:45as well as some of the new content
04:47that we'll keep on bringing.
04:48Also, for those of you
04:49who already reached level 50,
04:51rest assured,
04:52all the XP that you've earned
04:53before we raise the level cap
04:55will be automatically converted
04:57into ability points.
04:58Last question.
04:59we see quite a few comments
05:01about the cost to upgrade the gear
05:02in the game.
05:03Is that something we're addressing?
05:05Yes.
05:06We're aware of this
05:06and we're working on a new balance
05:08to decrease the cost to upgrade the gear.
05:10This will be in the game
05:11with version 1.0.6.
05:19We hope you are as excited as we are
05:21about all this new content
05:23and rewards coming up in November.
