00:14It's not often that you get a chance to stay with a character
00:16for as long as we have
00:17with these characters. We started in
00:202009, so
00:22we're going almost six years that we've been working
00:24on this for one game.
00:25The stories became more important,
00:27so therefore they needed actors
00:29to come in and actually
00:31bring life to those characters that they've worked so
00:33hard to create.
00:37Become part of me
00:39and endure
00:41or fall forever
00:43into oblivion.
00:45I love the Sylvari naivete
00:47that has evolved over the course
00:49of the games. I've lived with
00:51this character for a long time now
00:53and I love what she stands for.
00:55But humanity's resolve
00:57will never waver. We have withstood
00:59every challenge thrown at us
01:01because unity is our strength.
01:04I think the goal of any story
01:06is, especially when it's a long-running
01:07thing, is for it to evolve and for it to change
01:10and for it to grow. You shouldn't see
01:11the same person all the way throughout, especially
01:13over six years. You need to see a different side of them.
01:16But around that, circumstances always
01:17change characters and conflict
01:19reveals character. So as we've
01:21seen different conflicts happen, we're going to see
01:23a different character.
01:29The thing that appeals to me
01:31about Ayr is she
01:33has had a complicated life, which
01:35makes her a complex character.
01:38While she is very strong
01:39and very capable and very
01:41mighty, as an actress
01:43the part that I'm most attached to are the poignant
01:45moments with her. There's nothing better
01:47inside of the gaming community than speculation
01:49and people that can be vehement and passionate
01:51about their reasons and cite examples
01:53of why they're right and you're wrong.
01:56So there's this long-running
01:58much-debated thing as far as
02:00when Logan decided to leave.
02:02Did he do it of his own accord or was it
02:03something that Jenna did to him? And there's people on
02:05both sides of the fence that have
02:07strong cases for either side.
02:10and I could speculate. I could tell you what
02:12I think, but it's my secret.
02:14I think what Logan did was
02:16a combination of the two.
02:18I think Queen Jenna, you know, had a little bit
02:20of a hand, but Logan did as well.
02:22I think it was both of them. That's what
02:24I'm going to say.
02:27There's so much to me that's revealed
02:28about character and the impact of the story
02:30through the people that play it because
02:31they get to take away different things.
02:34It's been amazing to be here
02:36from the beginning
02:38all the way up to the
02:40huge announcement in January.
02:42And to be there with all the fans.
02:45This community is incredible.
02:46It's like a level above. It's amazing.
02:48It's a wonderful community.
02:50And I'm just really excited for launch.
02:52I can't wait to see everybody's experience
