00:20It's not a big dollar. It's $50,000 from what I read inside of the lawsuit. And it's not just
00:27the White Sox. Like that's the headline.
00:29It's Fanatics. It's several other companies. What it is is like basically there is a name, image and likeness deal
00:37where the White Sox can sell Frank Thomas stuff and all of the old stuff, all the uniforms that he
00:44wore, those jerseys, those iterations are covered.
00:47Apparently, the new City Connect jerseys are not a covered item.
00:51So when you throw them out there to one, promote them and promote that the White Sox are going to
00:57be wearing them and you use 35 and Thomas on the back of it and then you sell those.

01:04That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.
01:06Right. And it's not. So so they could have preemptively done something about this.
01:11But once you're Frank and you notice this, you can call the White Sox and they could say, well, you
01:15know, we'll make good on our portion.
01:18If you still want to sue Fanatics, I suppose you can. Yada, yada.
01:21Yeah. But and it might be difficult. It might be difficult for the White Sox to separate themselves from their
01:29outfitter to, you know what I mean?
01:31Like, it might be. I'm not a lawyer anymore, but could be.
01:36But suffice to say, this is yet another issue that is showing the ass of this relationship to your fan
01:45base.
01:45It's not great.
01:46I mean, and on the heels of the Black History Month snub, which was foolish on the White Sox part,
01:53but then Frank showed a little bit of ugliness there in terms of going to social media and saying what's
01:59up instead of calling them and saying, hey, guys, this hurts my feelings.
02:03What are we doing? That exposed the ugliness of the relationship as it stands as well.
